Meryll couldnt help but giggle once more at the words that reached her ears. It was hilariously obvious this angel likes nothing more than to laugh. Of course id like you to spend more time with me. Nothing would make me happier. Ah which reminds me. With a little light popping into her head the young Queen got up from her seat and playfully took the apple from Noel. Looking it over before taking a bite, savoring the flavor. It seems I must make some rounds within the kingdom soon. By the council suggestion. Taking another bite of the delicious snack Meryll paused in her explination of work to see if Noel read in between the lines.

Noel glanced over to his sister when she laughed once more and smiled a bit. He could have known that would be her answer. After all, they liked spending time together and that hadn't changed. Before he could start eating his next apple however it was snatched up by his sister from him which was followed by a light "Oi. There plenty of apples in that bag." from her brother before he chuckled and shook his head. That smile soon made way for a grimace however as he heard the rest Meryll told him and he sighed a bit. He understood perfectly well what she meant, she wanted him to join on the royal rounds. Noel didn't really like all the royal stuff and preferred to just hang around and have fun between lessons. The angel picked up another apple and took a bite as he took his time answering, if only to tease his sister and act as if he was thinking about it. "Hmm, well I guess I could join, can't really let you suffer on your own now can I?" he then replied after swallowing his bite and smiled a bit. He wasn't looking forward to such, but it was some more time with his sister and perhaps if he came along then she would be less bored by the royal duty.

Broadening her smile at her brothers agreement to join her, the young Queen finished off her apple before teasing her younger brother even more. My how gracious brother. But do not groan so much. Youll grow wrinkles and turn your angelic voice to that of an old man. Besides it isnt all bad. Disposing of the apple core, the angel twirled a bit around the table in merry prancing. Not all royal duties are a bore. This for example lets us speak with our citizens. I can wait to see the little children and animals that walk around. To show her enthusiasm, Meryll hugged and squirmed as she dances around. Just then a thought occured to her and she lightly pouted. Though I do not fancy the idea of visiting the noblemen. They are much too....territorial for my taste.

"On the contrary sister, all royal duties are a bore. You want to talk to the civilians? Then visit them without a royal entourage. No guards, no high ranked individuals but you. Then you can truly talk to them." he said and smiled a bit. That was how Noel got most the information he was asking for. By talking to them personally without any with him that could make the conversation awkward for to long. Over time without guards the commoners warm up. He chuckled a bit when Meryll hugged and watched her twirl around like a child being told they were visiting a play area. "If talking to the people is what you want, we should go into the city together, just you and me. Though guards with us to the nobles is a good idea. You never know what they have up their sleeve." he agreed. Noel may be carefree and friendly, but he wasn't naive. Nobles could turn on royals if not careful, so guards was a good thing there.

Believing herself tall, the queen paused her joyful twirling and puffes out her chest. Why Noel, advising your Queen to head out of the castle with no one but the prince of the kingdom. Unprotected and with no official escort. Gasping dramatically for a split second, a sneaky smile emerged upon the womans face. Its as if you don't know that I've done it before. The council suggested my walk through. They never specified how. Just then there was a jingling of bells at one of the entrances to the garden. A signal that one was entering. Light heel tapping were approaching, revealing one of the castle maids. She bowed to the royals and dis not get up unless told to.
Straightening her back now with more company, Meryll allowed the maiden passage forward. Doing as told, the maid continued with her task and handed the Queen a small fragile looking glass ball. Giving a word of thanks Meryll then produced a small amount of light to her palm and iluminated the small orb. At its core, an image of a carriage at the front entrance of the castle emerged. Once the angel understood what it meant, she then stopped her flow of light and crushed the ball in her hand. Turning it into nothing but powder. Ive decided to leave by air along with brother. Please advise the horsemen of their generous service. Nodding to the royal, the maid left to complete her duties.
Once gone Meryll sighed and perked herself up. Turning back to Noel, the angel readied herself by spreading her wings in preperation to take flight. I propose you ready yourself to leave before they insist on using a more glamerous mode of transport.

Noel shrugged and smiled a bit. That truly was melodramatic. Their Kingdom bore their royals no ill will. So they had little to fear within their borders. The only questionable group the Prince knew of was the nobles. He grinned a bit when he heard his sister's words though, already suspecting she was interested in his way of going into town. He soon stopped however when he heard the bell and saw the maid approaching. Was it already time to stop enjoying themselves? Noel nodded as she bowed to them, but didn't speak. It soon was evident she came for the Queen not the Prince. The angel looked at the ball that Meryll was given and saw the carriage. A slight sigh escaped him.
"You didn't tell me the visits would be today." he said to his sister. Noel truly disliked the poffy visits to the nobles. The Prince didn't mind the commoners. They were all pretty friendly enough. But the nobles were so....arrogant most of the time. At least it would seem like they were to leave the boring transport behind however as he heard his sister's comment to the maid and he smiled. Noel waited for the maid to leave and looked at Meryll who looked ready to take off. The angel nodded and allowed his wings to appear before he lifted them up and then made a few powerful beats to propeller himself into the air.
"Let's go into town then! I look forward to seeing our citizens again! Most of them anyway..." he muttered the last bit as he thought about the nobles but he soon smiled again and waited for his sister to reach him so they could fly to the city together. For now it would be just them and the commoners and that was something Noel had looked forward to. Noel flew away to the city the moment his sister had reached him, but this time he kept a lower pace, keeping in mind her comment about the sunbathing. Had he known she was that drained, he would never have allowed her to agree with such a silly contest as earlier.

Following after her sibling, Meryll beat a few strong strokes to propel herself off the ground and join the other in the sky. Taking off outside of the garden and towards the city appreciating the slower pace. Elated joy erupted from the girls chest as she was finally going to be able to step outside the castle grounds for a change. Through the earlier disheartening idea of visitors, an idea hit that lovely angels head. Since the noblemen and women were expecting to see me out in the streets today perhaps we can change our route to somewhere less crowded? Placing a finger to her lips the place in mind suddenly fazed in.
I know how about Sunset Park? There are bound to be many there at this hour. Plus it sets a lovely mood and away from busy nobles getting us to do business. Proud of her suggestion, avoiding unnecessary bother want the only reason see course this park. Memories of visiting this place why her mother and father filled her thoughts for moment. It was special place where she also payed respect to those whose tress and flowers that were planted in the past were dedicated to. Hovering her flying for a bit, the angel awaited for her brothers reply to the idea before flying in the cities general direction.

Noel smiled to his sister before he looked ahead to where they were flying. After all, not even the sky was free of obstacles, unless really high, and the royals were definitely not the only angels in the Light Kingdom. If you didn't pay enough attention, you could easily fly into another with all consequences. For a short moment they flew in peace until his sister spoke again and the prince looked at her next to him. He definitely agreed with that idea and he nodded. "That sounds great!" he said, but before he could ask where, she already mentioned a destination. The prince smiled. "Brilliant idea sister!" he said and chuckled before turning to the direction of the Sunset Park and flying side by side to their new intended destination. The park sounded so much nicer than the city itself where the nobles would definitely find them quickly.
