"I'm pretty sure trying to melt a cursed item just makes it come back even stronger and more cursed than before." she snorted.
"H-hey!" she rolled her eyes at the comment about being cursed to be related. Looking to Leukos, she quirked an eyebrow and took the glass. "Well, waste not, want not." she responded, now drinking from both the glass and the bottle.
"If you can find him... I'm sure I'm the only one that can even see him right now." he commented slyly with a stoic look. "I'm not here to get drunk, I'm here because I'm concerned for Melody.. who is now your daughter..." he pointed to Mara. "And your granddaughter." he pointed to Kae. Sighing, he placed a hand to his forehead. "As for the sword, I'll keep talking to her to convince her to stay away. Just hide it from her. I don't need you exacerbating the curse by trying to destroy it."

Mara groan at Kae "So how do you get rid of it? Why can't anything be easy anymore?" she whine taking her bottle and pouring it in her glass as she raised a finger and shook at Leukos. "Don't you both dare team up. I can at least see you Leukos and I can make you just a miserable...as soon as I figure out how " she said giggiling as she took another drink only to frown and make a face at Leukos.
"I'm worried. I'm trying what I can. Do you think I want her to end up like Hexxis?! " the laughing was starting to get replaced by anger . "Hexxis was a brat. She just used us and never wanted to pay attention to reality. Spend a couple of months in Belosh and poof forgot everything else" she took another swing. "Hexxis death is -not- my fault. I tried to stop her...but if she wanted to run off and get killed then she deserved it!" Mara put down the glass, looking almost ready to cry. "Tri is going to be sad.... damn it..." she leaned back and closed her eyes.
"How about purification? I have one meta with a furnace as her item. melt and purify? " he muttered, trying to think through the haze and not start crying even if she was sniffling. Stupid Leukos.
Ametrine watched Mara silently, worried with a sad look.

"Who knows. Lock it away? Throw it in a volcano..." she gave a short chuckle.
Leukos shook his head, "You'd have to figure out how." he muttered. He then frowned at her talking about Hexxis. "Melody is much different than Hexxis. She listens, and she's not going to run off. They were never really that much like each other. Besides, I'm still here. You saw how reluctant she was to leave me behind before, with you and I here, there's very little likeliness she'll do something so rash." he tried to reassure, not feeling like he was doing a very good job. "Of course he will... but there was nothing more you could have done for her. She was out of control. It was bound to happen sooner or later." he mumbled softly, looking away slightly.
"Haha maybe purification..." Kae pondered on the idea for a bit then shrugged with a laugh. "Probably? I don't really know."

"You sure? She was ready to run off at the mention off Kage. Thought it was Kage who killed Hexxis. Now fighting with Alice, she's changing and I am not sure yet if for better or the worse. " looking depressed now as she look a long drink from the now refilled cup. "Sooner or later, she had a heart condition...she was being hunted by Haven and she still ran away because we didn't accept that merc. I never got her. "Sounding down even looking up at Kae and shrugged. "I guess. I'll ask if I remember in the morning. Leukos and Ama are real downer..."

"Death makes people think irrationally. I was ready to run after her murderer too, but then again, I've had to deal with death before when I was just a kid. Or maybe you forgot I lost my mother when I was young." he sighed, "She's scared, of course she's going to lash out in hopes she can protect what she holds dear. But she's not beyond reason." he narrowed his eyes slightly. "Hexxis was a different story entirely. She never wanted to protect people like Melody does. She wanted to fight for the wrong reason, be it her programming or her own selfish goals. And all in all, Melody hasn't expressed interest in anyone of that kind." he last statement sent a glint of pain in his expression before he merely got up. "Fine, I'll leave if I'm such a downer..."
Kae sighed, "It's hard to tell what people will do in times of stress or in the face of death. You'd be surprised how someone can change in an instance." she spoke in a low tone, as if speaking from personal experience. "It can make someone think they can reverse the actions of the inevitable just to fix something that is permanently broken... Or to turn unconditional love to absolute hate and animosity. Or make someone want to run when it's the most ridiculous idea they've ever thought of.." Kae looked like she was getting angry and downed the rest of the glass. "Maybe you should leave, you're ruining our good mood."
Leukos frowned, "I'll speak with you both when your ready to be adults again and sober up." he spoke dryly and turned to leave, only giving a quit glance to Ama and sighing before leaving the room.
"baaah, we don't need him. What a sourpuss."

Mara stayed tight lipped as they both talked nearly downing the other glass as they both talked and only as Leukos started to go did she speak. "You both act like I haven't seen or dealt death, or even seen the change in someone due to it. Maybe you should go ask Ametrine how Tri was before he died. He was nothing close to how he is now. " she balled up her free hand. "I have seen and felt the pain of losing people of forcing other to go after people. I don't understand the close tie here. I don't even think Hexxis talked three words to Melody and you knew Ashral more than you knew Hexxis. " glared after him, tempted to throw the glass after him as he left the room.
"I think we better stop. I'm going to bed" she muttered, sounding furious. "Congrats Ama you made another downer" she growled.
Ametrine frowned and floated a bit after Leukos but then stopped and stared at Mara and Kae sighing as he just floated out the door.
