Silently he watched, unaware of how the archangels new powers worked or that he now had soul sight similar to his own which allowed him to see through invisibility rather than the ability to see the unseen. He didn't know he had left a glowing trail leading back to his body, he just knew that Ree had split his own soul and was sending the cat like fragment that he could focus his powers through in the direction of his own body.

Kylar stayed hidden behind the wall trying to distract Ree, the hand holding the sword rushed towards him. The shield of force would prevent a bullet or other forms of sudden impact from reaching Ree, but how would it hold up to something with continuously applied force. The blade slammed into the wall of force as Kylar attempted to pierce it and in the process Ree or at the very least distract him from sending the cat his way.

The hand struggled in vain to pierce the shield, it's efforts ending when Ree reached out with his mind grasping Kylar. The cat hadn't reached him yet, but somehow Ree was still able to see him. He reached out grasping at things trying to stop himself from being lifted from the rooftop, but it was pointless with only a single arm he couldn't get a grip that would even slow down the Archangel. Kylar wasn't in the air for very long, the force shifted downward. The only thing Kylar could could do to defend himself was curl himself into a ball trying to absorb the impact and protect his skull. He slammed into the ground the cushion reducing the impact, his sturdy frame absorbing any real damage.

Kylar remained unharmed on the ground, still held down by the force. Helpless he thought only of lashing out at the one that was holding him, perhaps if he could injure him there may be enough of a distraction for him to break his telekinetic hold. The neck twisted a full one-eighty taking in the sight of Ree and the cat high above. Their souls were linked, perhaps damaging the cat would damage Ree even through his force field. The hand floating in midair twisted and rushed the spirit cat, the blade slamming towards it.

Kylar grinned as Ree dropped, fear visible on his face. It seemed he was in a much better position that he had thought. The dart that had gone into his wing must have hit something in there and was just now beginning to take effect. He stood, the force now on his hand rather than his body, the head twisting back into position. Raising off of the ground he approached Ree with his remaining hand outstretched towards him, or rather the cat. He reached out attempting to take hold of the power before twisting attempting to cut it off at the source. He traced the soul line back to Ree and with a sudden push of power tried to seal the cat away unsure of how it would react if he lost consciousness.

He just needed to buy time, even if he didn't seal the cat just distract Ree until the tranquilizers could take effect and finally he would have a lasting victory over the Archangel.

Kylar frowned as the cat remained in place, it appeared sealing Ree was a lot harder than expected even when he tried planning for all of the extra power he had now. Pressure pressed against his hand drawing his attention to the blade coming at him from above. He spoke out, "s**t..." The blade quickly reverted back into a key, but that did nothing for the fist that held it crashing into Kylar. It wasn't til after it connected that he regained control of the hand quickly reattaching it himself as he watched Ree, the cat and the malice begin to fall.

Kylar moved quickly flying up to catch Ree and Ashral as they fell back. He knew that Ree was tough, but there was no telling what a fall from that height might do to him. Kylar lifted Ree up to the balcony and set him down just inside of it before adjusting for a better hold on Ashral and moving away from the unconscious archangel.
