The nostalgia I had when I saw this guild. A guild dedicated to the love of Fire Emblem and its worlds. Good to see all of you still exist after all these years, even if its only a few that are active (I dont know how many *shrugs*). Ive been missing for years and randomly logged into my account to check something. When I saw you guys still here and 'posting' somewhat, I had to poke my head in. If anyone cares: Whats up?

Hello there! We're still alive and kicking. You can't keep a good guild down. While most of the posts have been a bit slow on Gaia, a majority of the conversations are over Discord. You can find more info about our server here. It's good to see you back. How's it going?

Alive and kicking. Been playing the latest FE games to no end and thats part of the reason I came back here to peek in. And I dont do much in the way of Discord. Im all Skype, so Ill have to pass on that. (Skype or Dolby Axon).

We used to be active in Skype. However, we have some internet difficulties with Skype. Hence, why we migrated to Discord.

Hmm . . . I usually dont have much in the way of difficulties with it. Though, it seems to vary from person to person. None the less, I might get back into the swing of things sooner or later. Fire Emblem is a great game, and RPing it just sounds like a fun thing to do.

This is a heck of a relatable topic. I log in maybe once every 6 months, if even, but when I do, I always check FEF, haha.
Last time I was active in a FEF chat it was on AIM.

Tis probably why the guild doesn't get as much activity anymore. Everyone is using other means of conversation in order to keep in touch with each other and continue where the guild left off. Thats what happened with a couple of my other guilds that I was a part of.

We have a guild server on discord that is our main way of communication now!

I use Skype all the time still. That, and when it comes to Table Top type games, I use Roll20.

I use skype, too, it's just that we as a guild don't. Discord's a lot more accessible (good mobile app, well-made in-browser app, doesn't try to load a billion messages and slow your computer to sludge every time you turn it on) and takes up way, way less active memory, among a few other helpful things-- like being able to carry on multiple conversations in different chats.
There's no reason it has to be either-or. We'd be happy to see you around again.
