15/2015 5:11:51 PM] Yushika: http://images5.fanpop.com/image/answers/2665000/2665711_1335979372697.71res_390_311.jpg Kindle basically [6/15/2015 5:12:08 PM] Yushika: This image was basically exactly the idea I had for him [6/15/2015 5:14:27 PM] Jinx: I don't have an image for Kuro but I'll work on a description for ya [6/15/2015 5:27:07 PM] Yushika: Kindle was always on. The model was, by far, one of the more outgoing models of his agency. His eyes narrowed as they scanned through the bar, hand rubbing along the hip of the woman he had allowed to slip within the booth. Probably another amateur model who had fallen for his "polite" charm and slick body. His head nodded absently time to time when she spoke, eyes rolling to glance at some of his co-workers before turning back to eye the dance floor. <********, he wasn't into these sleazy places much. He was only here because the photographer wanted to take some of the more popular models out for drinks. It wasn't his gig, but it was always good to get along with someone famous. Especially in /his/ line of work. Absently, his eyes gazed over the ground once more, head leaning back against the booth seat as a low groan escaped him. /********/ he wanted some nice a** for just once. Anyone but these blonde girls who wore makeup than even /he/ did for his shoots and thought shaking their a** in a circle was acceptable dance moves.
Hell, he wasn't even just into the women. A guy would do. ********, guys worked even /better/. What was nicer then having hot muscles pressing against you? They were more fun, even. He could play submissive or aggressive. Switching was better then with a woman, because in the end you only had so many options. Sure, women had dainty little wrists and the nicest skin, but the real joy laid elsewhere.
Sadly, all he saw were men trying to pick up the chicks, dressed poorly and stumbling around in their attempts to match the wild and disruptive women who were so damn keen on just wiggling their a** to whatever beat they thought they were matching. This was why he hated bars. This was exactly why he didn't like this s**t.
And then his eyes locked on someone across the room. His lips curved into a smile, fingers releasing his hold on the woman and instead curling around his hair as he toyed with the idea of sauntering over. Oh, the raven-haired male was not one to wait for prey. No. He took what he wanted, and right now he wanted that tall bouncer who had a rather delicious aura around him.
His pink eyes practically glowed against his ebony skin tone and black hair, flickering with a devious light as he gently excused himself from the group. The taller than average man slipped his fingers across his black button up shirt, carefully unbuttoning the first three buttons and slipping a finger to open his belt, just a tad. It was obvious his appearance and clothes demanded attention, even more so as he passed through the crowd and caught gazes. He was subtle enough to demand enough attention without causing a disruption, and that was how he liked it. Get them to look. Get their gazes on him but still remain silent. He played the game better then his best friend did, that was for sure.
He stopped before the bouncer he had pinpointed as his target, pleased that he was just a tad taller. Good. He always hated being the shorter one. Clearing his throat, his velvet voice slipped out, mixed softly with a purr. "Shame you aren't the one dancing. It'd be a better treat then what other options there are." [6/15/2015 5:34:52 PM] Jinx: Okay, so pretty long hair. Like this http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4nuy6VUjd1rryy64o1_500.jpg Uuum, gonna go with black in color, like blue-black instead of brown black. He refuses to cut it, so he wears it twisted into a simple bun when he's working. You know, the kind when you gather all your hair, twist it, and it just kind of folds itself into a circle shape and you wind a tie around it a couple times and viola! Body will be a bit along this kind of build http://www.complete-bodybuilding.com/image-files/how-to-build-muscle-4.jpg Like he looks almost slender with his clothes on, then once you see what's underneath it's like, "Holy s**t, dude is ripped!" Facial shape will be more like the hair picture, just without any facial hair. Eyes are a really dark gray, like storm clouds, and in a dim room they look black. For his work clothes I'm going to say a simple black shirt with the bar logo on it, and sturdy jeans. Simple shoes. I'll get more specific about clothes when we get to that part. [6/15/2015 5:37:40 PM] Yushika: Kindle has a black/purple kind of color [6/15/2015 5:39:13 PM] Yushika: OH [6/15/2015 5:39:20 PM] Yushika: Kindle can use flame magic, cuz y'know look at him [6/15/2015 5:39:23 PM] Yushika: He keeps it under wraps [6/15/2015 5:39:51 PM] Yushika: Since we're doing Modifox Human he has the weird tail and ears s**t that only other Modifox Humans can see, but they aren't on fire [6/15/2015 5:39:52 PM] Yushika: -SHRUG- [6/15/2015 5:45:54 PM] Jinx: XD Well if we're in the magic world, Kuro has a horn, that yellow-ish white ivory color, that only Modifox humans can see. When he's standing in shadow there's this subtle feel like the shadows are a garment he's wearing, like some elaborate cape. Light seems to kind of swirl around him, like dust motes, but it's so very subtle it's not even really noticeable. Kuro notices, but that's because he's attuned to light and shadow, shadow just being his dominant domain [6/15/2015 5:46:26 PM] Yushika: Well we're doing our usual "realistic" Modifox world [6/15/2015 5:46:37 PM] Yushika: I meant fantasy as in the world Nasim guards which has the HIGH fantasy s**t [6/15/2015 5:46:40 PM] Yushika: Like elves and blah blah [6/15/2015 5:47:48 PM] Jinx: Aaah. I separate fantasy into two parts. The super fantasy, then the Modifox magic/form fantasy. Realistic to me is no magic or distinctions between fox and human at all. [6/15/2015 5:48:44 PM] Yushika: Yeha I meant Modifox magic/form fantasy [6/15/2015 5:48:50 PM] Yushika: And other world is super fantasy [6/15/2015 6:11:59 PM] Jinx: Kuro stood in his usual corner quietly muttering to himself any time something caught his attention, which was almost all the time. It was in his nature to observe, making this job almost perfect for him. He supposed he was lucky to have found something that suited him, because these cold forests of glass and stone didn't hold much in the way of resources for one who didn't possess those weird bits of paper and metal to trade. A stab of longing so sharp it was almost true pain would flash through him whenever he thought of the orchard his family owned, on their little quiet island. But every time he thought about leaving something would come up and he would put the journey off for a bit longer.
Kuro's dark eyes flickered over the writhing mass in front of him. No one here required his help. His first days here had been....interesting. It was hard to separate the mating attempts of these females and any real harassment on the part of the males that came to court them. He was better at figuring out the difference, helped by the fact that most distressed females would start making quite a bit of noise, but there were always the quiet ones too frightened to call out. Those were the ones he did his best to look out for.
He didn't notice he was being approached until the male had almost completely crossed the dance floor. He rarely paid attention to men, except as potential threats he might have to go up against. Kuro's eyes flickered over the male, noticing the other was clearly watching him as he approached. His muscles flexed as his body subconsciously readied itself for confrontation. He was quite strong, but his lean body coupled with his height gave most the impression he was almost frail. It was an impression that benefited him, since it was easier to throw out troublemakers when they didn't expect him to have any strength worth bring to bear. He silenced his muttering, eyes on the crowd but subtly watching the man's continued approach.
The stranger came right up to Kuro, standing a little closer than he would have preferred, though by the standards of this place the distance he left between them was polite, impersonal, even! Then the man spoke to him. Kuro listened, though he continued to look off into the crowd, the picture of disinterest. He had to admit the man had a pleasant speaking voice, but it did little to charm Kuro. If there was one thing he knew to be truth, a pleasant front did not guarantee a pleasant whole.
His brows furrowed slightly at the words though. What did the man mean by that? Was he trying to imply something? "I...don't dance," Kuro said in a low voice. Compared to the other man's tones his voice was barely more than a rough rumbling, like thunder on the horizon. It wasn't particularly deep, but it was deep enough it surprised most people. Perhaps they assumed his build meant he was still in the stages of adolescence. [6/15/2015 6:18:56 PM] Yushika: His eyebrow cocked up when the deep voice rumbled through the males lips, his own lips curling into a seductive grin. Mmm, tasty. His eyes trailed back to where the other was looking, What a boring job it was to watch these fools writhe amongst each other. It wasn't even /attractive/ writhing. Not the kind he liked, anyway. A devious glint flickered in his eyes as he pushed that thought aside, head rolling smoothly to glance back over to the bouncer. Not interested, hm? Even better.
"You don't?" He purred back in mild interest, leaning against the wall beside the male as pink eyes curved upwards to match his mock smile when the group he had just untangled himself from called his name, hand giving a vaguely dismissive wave to show he was /busy/. Didn't they see that?
"What a shame, really." He murmured, hands raising as his shoulders shrugged. "We need more figures like yours on the floor to provide anything /actually/ entertaining." [6/15/2015 6:33:22 PM] Jinx: Kuro blinked and actually focused his gaze on the man. He couldn't follow what this man was talking about. It was the first time in his memory anyone ever seemed to think he could be entertaining. Strangers just found him weird and unsettling. As did his coworkers. Hell, even his own family found him peculiar. It didn't bother him, for he was much like a cat in that he would do whatever he pleased regardless of what others thought, but it didn't change the general consensus that Kuro was a bundle of strange wrapped in an impersonal creepy coating. The layer of shadows that settled around him like a garment in their own right probably attributed to that as well, though the effect wasn't so visual that people noticed. They just got nervous.
This man didn't seem in the least bit put off though.
"I do not understand how my figure would provide entertainment," he said, tilting his head to the side and ever so slightly back to look at the man's eyes. The pink was a bit startling. It was a familiar color, but the look was unfamiliar, very unfamiliar indeed. He couldn't place the look, but it caused his muscles to tense again. Kuro looked away, back to the dance floor. "I am not at all entertaining." [6/15/2015 6:38:58 PM] Yushika: His tongue clicked, rolling across the roof of his mouth in mild humor. Not entertaining? His eyes drifted back to the male, subtly noticing the aura that seemed to exude off him. Ah. One of his kind, delightful. Kindle, however, was fairly trained in magic and had, for a long time, kept his ears and tail hidden from his own kind. Humans never could see, as was normal, but other Modis? They lacked the privilege to see, too.
Still, it caused him to mentally relax, just a little. Amongst a sea of humans it was, sometimes, unsettling knowing you were one of a small race. Hell, the bar itself only hand a handful of his kind, and they weren't mingling much with the humans. Most of them looked to be overly drunk and leaning on something, observing.
Mm. He preferred his own kind, anyway. More things to /grab/. A bemused smirk stayed on his face as he folded his arms across his chest, one leg raising to support himself on the wall. "Entertainment fluctuates depending on the observer. To myself, you're /quite/ entertaining." [6/15/2015 6:39:33 PM] Yushika: (( Kindle you inappropriate little s**t. )) [6/15/2015 6:43:30 PM] Jinx: (( -waves a hand at Yushi- Shhhh! Don't bother him. This is getting interesting! )) [6/15/2015 6:56:35 PM] Jinx: A feeling bubbled up in Kuro's chest and he had to restrain the impulse to let out a rumbling growl. Something was setting him on edge, though he had no idea what. This man was...different. Granted his experience with men was very limited. He only knew his father until the day he had journeyed out to visit his grandmothers, and after that his other experiences had been either the drunkards and cruel types who didn't even realize he was there until he was beating them down for daring to lay hands on an unwilling woman, or the types who confronted him like animals engaging in a dominance display. The way some had puffed out their chests had put in mind the puffing of feathers on a male bird when doing a courtship or rivalry dance.
"Your words make little sense. You think it entertaining were I to dance and you think me entertaining as I stand here. Perhaps you have had too much of the liquids this place is so fond of serving." Kuro's brow wrinkled slightly at that. He knew what alcohol was now, though he hadn't when he first arrived here. Still, to call that burning stuff a drink seemed like an insult to pure spring water. He couldn't understand the appear at all. It would account for this man's behavior though. The more of that bitter stuff one consumed the more bizarre the behavior of that one got, or so Kuro had observed. He had to deal with such people frequently when here. He shouldn't let this man distract him from his job. He returned the greater part of his attention to the crowd, keeping his senses open in case the man decided to try attacking him to start a fight, but otherwise hoping he would get bored and find something else to occupy his interest. Certainly there were plenty of females eyeing him with clear interest, though none dared approach when he stood next to Kuro and his disconcerting aura. [6/15/2015 7:11:39 PM] Jinx: (( Bonus inappropriate points if Kindle finds a way to get Kuro's hair out of his bun, or just lies in wait for Kuro one day when he's out of work. Kuro hates tying his hair up like that, even though he knows it's better not to give anyone a hold on something that controls his head and therefore could be a serious issue in a fight, so as soon as he's out of work he lets his hair flow loose again. Muse says hair-pulling/using it for control is very kinky and if Kindle can manage it at some point (doesn't have to be in this moment, could be at some point in a future encounter) she will be so many kinds of happy. So. Many. Kinds. )) [6/15/2015 7:14:30 PM] Yushika: Kindle chuckled at the response, head tilting to the side as he listened to the male. "On the contrary." Kindle purred, moving closer, using his hand to lean near the man, face inches from the other as he parted his mouth and let out a soft exhale. The scent of mint floated from his lips before he leaned back into the wall, having proven his point that he, in fact, was not drunk.
"I do not drink at cheap bars." He chastised, voice polite and yet having deepened to assure the other truly understood that he, in fact, was not about to partake is trash alcohol. Kindle caught the stares of women eying the two of them, giving a smile he had practiced for far too long. He willed them to keep their distance, relying on that aura that exuded not only a polite kindness he often pretended to host, but the feeling he was unobtainable. This man was /his/ until he was done, and currently he was far from it.
"Little sense or not, I find you far from boring. Protest if you wish." His hand dismissively flicked to the side. Obviously this man had no clue the body he possessed was beyond appealing. [6/15/2015 7:33:17 PM] Jinx: Kuro's chest rose as it filled it air, but the sigh he released through his nose was controlled and silent. He'd tensed to the point where he had held even his breath when the man was suddenly very much in his space, and it was all he could do not to flinch away. He didn't like people getting that close to him, though it appeared such closeness was common in dominance displays. Though he had not breathed, the smell of mint was strong enough to register. That alone wouldn't have meant much to him (he'd seen some drinks that were made with sprigs of mint), but there was a lack of that strange smell that seemed to be attached to most of those drinks.
Not that Kuro believed the male wasn't /somehow/ not in his proper mind. It was a world he knew little about beyond the fact that it existed, but the people who belonged to such a world used substances that could mimic the effects of the drink, or had effects beyond the drink, that left little or even no scent. Of course those people had a certain look to them, a very unclean and unhealthy look that this man did not share, but it didn't mean the man couldn't somehow belong to the world of strange substances that messed with the mind.
Kuro grunted softly as his muscles relaxed from the sigh, wincing a little as the smells from the club assaulted his sensitive nose, but otherwise feeling the relief that came with deep breathing. "If you believe so, that is your choice," he said in a voice that was slightly dismissive. If the man thought Kuro just standing there was entertaining, well then he could get his fill of entertainment and watch Kuro stand. There was no disturbances, no pockets of discontent that he could see that would require his movement just yet, though later he would switch positions just to make sure nothing was trying to hide from his attention. The shadows here were /his/ friends, and none could use them to hide their dirty deeds from Kuro. [6/15/2015 7:37:34 PM] Yushika: He enjoyed the tension he felt from the male, almost relishing in it. He couldn't pinpoint /why/ that was, other then maybe perhaps he certainly was enjoying this just for the thrill of when he would finally (and he would, he had no doubt), conquer this man. His body ached for challenge, and it would be a patient one. He had plenty of playthings he could roll around with while he worked on this one. Surely he despised bars, but if a fine things such as /this/ one lurked here, well, perhaps he'd make it more of a habit to visit.
"Mmm." His head lolled back against the wall, eyes watching the lights flash and flicker with mild disgust. "What is the attraction to work at such a place? Surely you could do /better/." [6/15/2015 7:48:46 PM] Jinx: Yet another question Kuro did not understand. What did this man think he saw when he looked at Kuro? What was better that this place? Certainly it was far more preferable than to don those uncomfortable, brightly-colored garments to put things on shelves or work irritating machines that dispensed the paper and metal these people were so fond of. Truth be told he'd prefer to be back home, moving among the fruit trees where the air was clean and the food, though less varied, tasted better. But if he couldn't have that, then at least he could be in a place that allowed him some freedom and the ability to protect females in exchange for bits of paper given to him a couple times per moon cycle.
"It is my choice," Kuro responded simply, feeling to need to justify the reasons for his choice to this strange man. [6/15/2015 7:50:31 PM] Jinx: (( Also if at any point after this first meeting you want to skip to the drama part and just backstory all their other encounters, you have my blessing! )) [6/15/2015 7:52:03 PM] Yushika: It was his choice, huh. Yes but, why this sleaze pit? Why not something classier? Hell, he could get this guy a job in ten seconds flat in one of the nicer, more richer locations. And yet, he had a feeling that wouldn't do. His eyes snapped to the side as he heard someone call his name, again, a brief and foul irritation crossing his eyes and yet the smile stayed. Right. Something about they needed to go. Now? Sucking his teeth, the model kicked off the wall and brushed past the male, one hand waving behind him.
"Until next time." He called, head titling so one eye could be seen and his smirk was exposed. Until next time indeed.
(( I don't mind going a little slow with these two. YOU GET TO DO FIRST POST FOR NEXT MEETING. I was thinking they could meet outside work? )) [6/15/2015 7:53:12 PM] Jinx: (( Sure! Where is Kuro likely to run into Kindle, given the differences in their lifestyles? )) [6/15/2015 7:58:27 PM] Jinx: (( Like I'm sure they don't shop at the same stores for clothes, I don't know if Kindle shops for groceries at all, and I can't picture any other place they'd run into each other except in passing on the street XD )) [6/15/2015 7:59:07 PM] Yushika: (( UMMMM well he goes to the market a lot. He eats organic and actually is friends with a bunch of the shop owners in the market since he enjoys supporting them. )) [6/15/2015 7:59:10 PM] Yushika: (( So maybe there? )) [6/15/2015 8:04:38 PM] Jinx: (( And yes, market sounds like a good idea! ))

[6/15/2015 8:28:15 PM] Jinx: Kuro blinked against the bright light of morning. His job required him to stay up late, which usually wasn't a problem for him, but if he wanted to visit the produce markets he had to go in the early morning when the good stuff was still there. Weighing his need for sleep versus a desire for produce of a decent quality, food won. It wasn't like a visit to the market would take /that/ long, he could get plenty of sleep between getting home and having to be at work again.
He swung by his dingy little apartment long enough to take a shower and pull on some fresh clothes. He was housed in an area of town that was considered "bad", though he didn't quite get it. It was perfectly adequate, shelter from the weather, a safe place to sleep, and it held ample enough storage for food and clothes. What else did he need? People here always watched everyone else as a matter of reflex. Certainly there was a sense of danger, but no one had bothered Kuro. This was a place full of shadows, and shadow had always been a friend.
He had long left his neighborhood behind and was in the area where those giant bits of moving metal known as cars or trucks brought in their wares. Kuro had to admit that while the morning light was harsh the cool breeze that went with it was very pleasant, threading through the drying strands of black hair. If he angled himself right he could easily shade his eyes from the light with the cloth and wood awnings that sheltered the booths of food. This was a big market, with indoor booths as well as outdoor ones. The ones inside were apparently more desired and required more of the paper and metal pieces, but Kuro was content to start his search with the outdoor booths.
He paused in a patch of sunlight to examine little baskets heaped with fresh cherries. His pale skin seemed to glow like snow, a stark contrast to the tanned skin sported by those who manned the booths. Kuro never saw much sun, and hadn't even when he lived with his parents. His hair by contrast was so dark a black that with the sun shining on it it seemed almost blue. His clothing was a bit worn and seemed second-hand. If he could Kuro would have forsaken his shirt, but sellers of food seemed to frown on such things. Bags of simple canvas hung from straps on his shoulders.
Kuro pulled one of the bags off his shoulder and selected a basket of cherries, handing the person behind the booth some of that money stuff and getting bits of it in return with smiles and requests that he return another day. Kuro just nodded and tucked the basket in his bag, holding it in his hand instead of over his shoulder so he didn't tip the cherries all over the place in the bag. [6/15/2015 8:28:32 PM] Jinx: (( Sorry if that got rambling at the end X_x )) [6/15/2015 8:30:12 PM] Jinx: (( Also I'm using this list to guess what there is to buy XD )) http://www.wisebread.com/fresh-fruits-and-vegetables-by-the-month [6/22/2015 7:52:44 PM] Yushika: Kindle did his own shopping. He could afford someone else to do it for him, absolutely, but Kindle found a particular joy in picking out his own produce. Long legs spread out and kicked across his bed, causing the tall model to roll right out of the king sized bed and yet somehow not disturb the blonde male sleeping soundly beside his precious spot. Lazily, the model slunk to the bathroom, taking a quick shower and tying strands of his hair back before writing a quick note that politely but assertively told his "guest" to basically get out the second he was awake. Good. That was settled. Food time.
His large house didn't have a gate, nor was it in the wealthier neighborhoods. He wasn't one for those gated communities, and he always loved the joy of living so close to the road. It was far easier to get location to location. He drove for himself, occasionally relying on drivers only when he was taking someone home. His neighbor was nice, absolutely, but it would probably surprise most people who knew his name.
He took his time approaching his favorite market, accepting a phone-call during the drive and briefly confirming his schedule for hanging up. Today was a free day, which mean it was time to restock his fridge and get his nails redone. Maybe spend an extra hour in the gym. His fingers fussed with his leather jacket time to time, prepping his clothes for the public. He always had to look his absolute best, no matter where he was going.
When he reached the market he exited his car, having parked it in the shade. Swiftly, he headed for the sound of sellers calling their wares, a faint smile spreading as merchants greeted him by name. A hand raised in greeting to each call, mouth forming a true smile instead of his normal false one. Ah, this quaint little market had always been his second home.
He had been inspecting an stall, muttering towards the merchant about their avocados, when he saw /him/. His eyes flicked up, hand setting the avocado down and briefly he said his goodbye abruptly before focusing on where that rather strange male was heading. Fate! Fate must be directing Kindle to this male. Obviously, the deities wanted him to ravish this male, and soon. [6/22/2015 8:05:11 PM] Jinx: (( -gigglesnort- Yes, the deities are tots conspiring on your behalf, Kindle XD )) [6/22/2015 8:05:46 PM] Yushika: (( SUCH an ego he has )) [6/22/2015 8:17:57 PM] Jinx: Kuro continued to wander through the various stands. While most held a variety of things, there always seemed to be some kind of central produce the stand boasted. He eyed one such stand heaped with watermelons. They looked amazing, but he didn't want to have to lug something like that around with him. He spent a solid thirty seconds just staring at the melons and debating the practicality of carrying one around before deciding to come back later. It wasn't too crowded just yet, and short of a natural produce restaurant coming around and buying up all the watermelons, there was bound to be at least one still there for him to purchase at the end of his trip.
By the time he had worked his way through the fruit stands the bag on his arm was heavy. He cast another look at the melons, reassuring himself that there were still plenty, then took himself off to the booths that sported more vegetables and roots than fruit.
It wasn't until he began to comb through baskets filled with peas and green beans that he felt the first tingles of....awareness. He froze, hand still buried in a basket of green, then made himself resume movement. He bent his head forward so that his black hair hid his face and glanced around through the screen of his locks, trying to figure out where the feeling was coming from without appearing to actually look. It took all his willpower not to turn to see what was behind him. In a dimly lit nightclub it would have been no problem for him to slip away unnoticed and lose a watcher, but in the bright morning light, with his pale skin and dark hair setting him apart from the usual types that manned the booths, there really wasn't anywhere for him to slink off to. [7/5/2015 10:06:11 PM] Yushika: Kindle was not up for behaving today. He had seen that fine a** and he was going to pounce. Now. Or, no, that'd get him arrested, and fast. Without a thought the model sauntered over to the…. bouncer? He was a bouncer, right? Wasn't that the impression he got last time they met? Today was the day; he'd get this hunks number.
"Fancy seeing you here." Kindle purred, fingers absently brushing along peas. Did he need any? Maybe, his fridge was getting rather empty. [7/5/2015 10:16:29 PM] Jinx: Kuro spotted movement approaching him through his screen of hair, so when the vaguely familiar male appeared next to him, sorting through the basket of peas right next to Kuro, he didn't jump. He lifted his head, inky hair flowing back from his face, focusing his pale gaze on the man next to him. Most people found Kuro's eyes unsettling. They were so pale a grey they were practically white, seeming to glow in his face. An unusual color considering his dark hair, people said.
He didn't reply to the statement, continued to levelly stare at the stranger, trying to remember exactly where he might have seen him before. It sounded like the stranger at least knew him. [7/6/2015 3:46:36 PM] Yushika: The lack of response left a bad taste in his mouth, causing the model to scowl briefly. Hello? Did this guy even register he was here? Well, he was staring, so maybe he was busy admiring his amazing body? Yes, that was probably it. Kindle brushed hair off his shoulder, sighing softly, voice almost a low hum.
"It's a hot day, isn't it?" His attention diverted back to the peas as she scooped a bundle up and placed it in his basket. [7/6/2015 4:04:59 PM | Edited 4:05:01 PM] Jinx: Several things clicked in Kuro's brain at that moment. That flip of the hair, the scent that wafted towards him on that little breeze, the stranger's persistence in talking to him despite Kuro's discouraging stare. It was that odd man from the night club, a few nights ago.
Kuro tilted his head slightly, still filling a little basket provided by the stand full of peas. What were the odds he would meet this strange person again, here of all places? This scene was about as different from the night club as it could be. The only thing that could make it more different would be if they could be on the actual farms. And this strange man wanted to talk to him? Why? Kuro didn't remember being very chatty before. He didn't think he was ever chatty with anyone but himself.
Kuro's eyes drifted over the male, taking him in and trying to read his motives. He looked like he was mate posturing. Was it because of the female who owned the vegetable stall? Kuro looked over the lady who had made up a bundle for the male, then glanced back at the male. "Morning sun too bright. Day sun too hot here. I prefer nighttime and the moon." He looked back to his basket, decided it was full to his liking, then handed it to the lady to weigh so he could purchase his peas. [7/6/2015 4:16:18 PM] Yushika: Kindle directed his attention back to the vegetables, briefly disappointed. Day sun? What? Was this some way of blowing him off? He wasn't having that, no sir. At least TELL him he was not welcomed, jeez. His face remained with that smile he hosted, despite the piling frustrations. This was not how it went, usually. The city was his domain, and he always got what he wanted.
Yet, for a second his eyes drifted back towards the other, eyebrow raising. He was certainly not human, not with that odd haze around him. Perhaps he was one of those types that hated the sun. What were they called? Morlocks? Bah. Drawing his attention back to his basket, Kindle absently waved his hand.
"I could take you somewhere cooler, perhaps?" [7/6/2015 4:23:12 PM] Jinx: Kuro cocked his head like a curious bird, then dug out some money in response to a statement from the woman, exchanging it for his vegetables. He tucked them in the bag at his side. "I have a few things left to buy," he said in his quiet voice. "Do you not like the sun?"

with Kindle played by Yushika status Done
[3:56:13 PM] Yushika: Kindle was waiting. He always was. He had given the sly little "hint" to a certain male that he was going out tonight to find new prey, and he was fully expecting the man to appear any second. His body leaned against the brick wall of the bar he had chosen to reside near, leg propped up and supporting him and arms folded. He was /frustrated/, and had been for far too long. Months. MONTHS of this s**t. Sure, he made sure whenever he left Kuro's place or his work that he found someone to play with, but ******** it, that wasn't /enough/. He had a need, a burning hot need to dominate this male and make his back arch against his chest, and nothing he did worked. Nothing. <********. He had been playing the soft approach, but he was growing more and more frustrated each night. He should really just give up, but something about this man toyed at him. Normally, he would. Sex wasn't good enough to hunt after one person for months. Yet, for some damn ******** reason Kuro kept tugging at him, drawing him closer when really he rather just be forgetting the b*****d. Was it attachment? To what? /Kuro/? s**t. He wasn't an idiot like his fathers.
The worst part was other thoughts flickered in his head. Ones were he wasn't doing the dominating all the time. ******** that s**t, when was the last time he let someone /else/ rule his body? And yet the model found himself having shameful thoughts that later he'd drown by grabbing someone and throwing them against his bedroom wall. AND THEN there were those occasional 'what if's'. What if he could get Kuro to lower his guard enough to let Kindle wrap an arm loosely around his shoulders? Not for sex, but for, - ********, he was about to say it - comfort. ******** hell. s**t man.
"Tch." He sucked his teeth, head tossing to view the bar. Hell, he might as well call this game off for tonight and go find someone for the night. He was growing less interested in spending the night being frustrated. [4:16:34 PM | Edited 4:21:18 PM] Jinx: (( SORRY, MY NEPHEW KIDNAPPED ME AGAIN. HIS MAMA AND MEMA WERE WATCHING THE BABY, SO WHEN HE HEADED FOR OUTSIDE I HAD TO GO ALONG. I SHALL WORK ON A REPLY NOW )) [4:22:38 PM] Jinx: (( Would Kindle buy Kuro clothes? )) [4:23:22 PM] Yushika: (( Totes )) [4:23:33 PM] Yushika: (( He pampers people by accident if he likes them )) [4:48:53 PM] Jinx: (( Kindle. Do you like Kuro better with his hair loose, ponytail, braid, or some kind of bun? )) [4:49:21 PM] Yushika: (( Kindle: /loose/. )) [4:51:17 PM] Jinx: (( THEN HAVE THIS, AND I'M GOING TO RUN TO THE STORE FOR FOODS REALLY QUICK! ))
(( Also as I was writing I forgot if they were going to a bar or club, so if my mentions are off you can correct them with your reply. )) [4:51:39 PM] Jinx: Kuro muttered to himself as he tugged at his clothing. Really the whole situation had him muttering in frustration. The strange male, who Kuro now knew as Kindle, was persistent in continuing to be around Kuro. Kuro didn't get it. First they had gone to Kuro's place, then eventually Kindle got Kuro to visit his place. Then Kindle had, after a lot of wheedling, gotten Kuro to go out with him to a club. A "good place" as Kindle put it. He still made hints from time to time that Kuro could do better than the little club he bounced at, but it seemed like more and more those hints were habit than any real hope of budging Kuro.
Kuro frustrated Kindle. The model hide it well, very well, but Kuro was a pro at body language and it hadn't take him long to see the clenched, tensed muscles, or that tiny flash of something that appeared in his eyes for the briefest of seconds before it was washed away to a mask. Kindle, Kuro was discovering, wore masks a lot. That didn't bug Kuro. If anything the temperamental side was normal to him, what with the very strong personalities of his parents. Hell, his mother's best friend Freya could have given Kindle a lesson in attitude. He'd witnessed more than one stand-off that told him clearly she wasn't fond of Bane, but those seemed to have lessened a little after she found a girlfriend.
Kindle frustrated Kuro as well. He didn't know what the male wanted for him. Was it company? Half the time it felt like he was trying to pull Kuro close, the other half it felt like he was holding himself away by sheerest willpower. It wasn't like Kuro was a good "wingman", as he'd heard the term. For one thing, Kindle oozed so much confidence that he would probably bust out laughing at the thought of needing help to catch a woman. For another, Kuro had proved time and time again that his presence had the opposite effect. Granted only half were actually driven away by Kuro, his strange lurking silence, and his warnings or hisses of frustration when Kindle began playing games with them. He just hoped that with his warnings the other half that stayed knew they were only being toyed it. And that pissed Kuro off to no end. He'd lived his whole life protecting his sweet, shy sister. That she might not need the protecting didn't matter much. He was her brother, it was his job! His mother didn't need to protecting either, but Aoi still found amusement in telling stories of when he was a tiny baby how he would fuss at his father if he got too close. Obviously Kuro grew out of it, but it seemed even at a young age he'd wanted to protect females. He didn't talk much about himself so Kindle didn't know about even a fraction of the things he had done, the charities he'd volunteered for. Kuro was pretty sure it wouldn't have mattered; in fact, it probably would have made Kindle tease him all the more if he knew how much it bothered Kuro. Kindle loved to tease.
And that was why he was out now. Kindle had mentioned a new place, and all the beautiful ladies that would be there for him to play with. Kuro had reluctantly decided to tag along. He had to use clothing Kindle bought for him, since none of Kuro's normal clothes were "proper" for what Kindle thought of as a good club. Kuro didn't like the clothes. The pants seemed to cling a bit more than his comfortable jeans did, and the shirts were just as bad. The ones with short sleeves might as well have been a second skin, or that's how he felt! The longer sleeves were at least a bit more comfortable, but the pull-over ones showed off a bit more of his chest than he liked. He had opted for a button-up. Kindle would still harass him to show off a bit more chest, but Kuro could get away with keeping it at a level he felt was more decent. Honestly he didn't dress this way because he wanted to make a good impression on strangers. The first time he'd tried to go along with Kindle to a good club wearing his normal clothes, Kindle threatened to go without him unless Kuro changed. A lot of these clubs were high end; Kuro couldn't afford to get in the door of half of them, assuming the bouncers at the door would even let him. He seriously questioned why Kindle thought he'd do good working at places like that!
So here he was, dressed "proper" and grumbling, but unwilling to let more unsuspecting women become temporary chew toys. Kuro knew Kindle swung towards both genders, but he figured another man would have a better idea of what he was getting into and let them figure out the danger on their own.
As he got closer to the meeting point he noticed a figure leaning against a wall. It wasn't hard to recognize the lean, tall body. Kuro grumbled a bit more. Kindle hated waiting on him when they went out to clubs or bars. He slide up towards the other, shadows hiding him until he was almost on top of the other. Kindle didn't seem to get freaked out about how close Kuro could get before being noticed, so Kuro didn't really check his behavior. It was almost annoying, knowing how much he was frustrated by this man and yet also having to admit he probably acted the most like himself around the other. He flicked his head up in a nodded greeting, his pale eyes seeming to glow in the darkness while the wind pulled at his dark hair, hanging loose. The twisting black strands almost looked like questing tendrils of shadow. [5:10:31 PM] Yushika: He was here.
He had sensed the presence of the other, keeping his mouth shut as Kuro approached, still hidden behind the odd shadows that seemed to cling to him like a veil. He had long pinpointed that Kuro was one of his kind, and yet it delighted him he had successfully managed to cover up that he too was similar to Kuro. He enjoyed playing a mere human, mostly because he was, in all honesty, a b*****d. Kindle liked knowing things others didn't, and he enjoyed holding onto information about himself for as long as possible. It was delicious, even, knowing that no one really truly saw everything. They were allowed what he wanted them to see, and the power vitalized him.
They must have looked odd together; one man clearly exuding confidence and a sexuality he didn't hide, while the other was quiet and toned back. Especially when said quiet male simply nodded in greeting and the model kicked off the wall, seizing the wrist of the other and swept him towards the opening. They clearly were from different worlds, and yet, somehow, they /worked/.
Kindle understood Kuro, in a way. Kuro was not asked to behave differently, ever. Sure, he may poke and prod to change clothes or fix his hair, or maybe just once shake those nice hips of his, but Kuro's personality was alluring for the model. It was a challenge, and a damn frustrating one. He read Kuro's body language and could decipher exactly how disapproving Kuro was of his behaviors, or how confused. And, in return, Kuro understood Kindle. Or, at least the parts Kindle allowed to show. Perhaps that was why he was so entranced with Kuro in the first place. Was he hungry to be accepted for more then just his looks? To receive more then just a flirty smile and invitation to the bed? ******** if he knew, but whatever Kuro was he was, without a doubt, /exciting/.
And, again, frustrating. Don't forget about that.
"There you are." He purred, voice deceivingly pleasant towards outsiders, but dipping into a mild irritation that only Kuro would detect. He whisked them past the bouncer at the front, not thinking twice. He was used to being accepted anywhere he wanted to be; it came with being famous, really.
He released his grip on Kuro, tongue flicking across his lips as he eyed the crowd before addressing Kuro face first. He stopped, eyes narrowing as he scanned Kuro's outfit and briefly lingering of the chosen hairstyle. ******** p***k knew just how to cause him more grief. He was growing tired of ideally flirting with the other. Those clothes were dangerously fitting on Kuro, and Kindle had every desire to just give up the entire game and rip them off.
But he knew better. Patience was a virtue, wasn't it? And lately, shamefully, he found that he often would /forget/ about his intentions when with Kuro and instead actually enjoy the company of the other. Odd. Gross, even. Once, he even had Kuro come over to educate him on some horror movies he had found, with no desire to pounce the male. What was happening to him?
"You look /much/ better." He cooed, reaching up and brushing his knuckles gently against Kuro's arm, trailing them to his wrist before snapping back to Kindle's side. "Though, Kuro, dear, you could do with one more button being undone." He purred, voice smooth as velvet as his fingers raised, flicking a button on Kuro's shirt and almost threatening to slip one free before addressing his attention to the club. [5:46:40 PM] Jinx: (( Aw, did I deny Kindle a chance to break a hair tie so that he could get Kuro's hair how he likes it when he finally snaps? )) [5:47:34 PM] Yushika: (( PPPFT MAYBE, but he's fine! At least there's /something/ to grab when kuro gets on his last nerve )) [5:58:41 PM] Yushika: (( Current song inspiring his actions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY0cxXekLFw )) [5:58:47 PM] Yushika: (( Warning, dirty yaoi U u U )) [6:03:42 PM] Jinx: (( >D )) [6:03:44 PM] Jinx: Kuro made a soft grunting noise, but otherwise didn't comment. It had pissed Kindle off in the beginning, how little he talked. He was pretty sure it still did. He probably realized it wasn't because it was being ignored. If anything the irritation probably stemmed from how hard it was to get a reaction out of Kuro. As he'd noticed, Kindle loved to tease.
He let Kindle drag him along, even let him mess with a button, though when the other pulled back without undoing it Kuro just let it be. He rarely ever adjusted his buttons on the first mention anyway, and the only reason he adjusted them at all was because there were times it was easier to just give in to Kindle. It was like giving a toddler a toy to stop a tantrum. He couldn't image why it seemed to work, just that Kindle would give him that odd little smile whenever he complied. He never bothered the buttons if Kindle didn't say anything either. The one time he had, Kindle got pissed. He didn't say anything, but his eyes had darkened a bit and he'd stared at the button Kuro had undone with the furrow between his eyes like he was thinking hard. Kuro didn't get it, but he just left his buttons alone and there hadn't been a repeat of that particular look. It was the same reason he never messed with his hair, and usually left it down if they were going to be out for a while. There had been a time he'd pulled his hair out of its tail and shook it out, and he'd looked up just in time to see Kindle giving him that look again. Kuro supposed he was just committing new breaches in fashion.
Kuro gestured his head towards the bar and gave Kindle a questioning look. He was pretty sure the reason they were here was for drinking, but this place had a lively dance floor as well and he wasn't sure what Kindle wanted to do first. Kuro had mostly sat by the bar, ordering their drinks and keeping an eye on Kindle to make sure the male wasn't up to trouble, and from time to time Kindle would resurface to sit and drink a bit. As time wore on though it was clear Kindle wasn't going to let Kuro sit on the sidelines all the time. He still didn't dance any more than he could help it, but he was pretty sure in this place he wasn't going to have much of a choice. Either way, he didn't want to leave Kindle alone too long. He moved fast when he had his sights set on someone, and Kuro didn't want to chance him ruining yet another woman with his games. [6:11:01 PM] Jinx: (( Also glad for the warning, I made sure my dad went outside before I clicked on the video link XD )) [6:12:33 PM] Yushika: He caught the look towards the bar, hand waving absently in a dismissive fashion. Kuro usually focused on keeping their orders coming, but even then Kindle wasn't a drinker. That was one of the few things that set him apart from the other models. How many of them drank, smoke, and ******** around with drugs? It always caused a giggle when they realized he much rather use his mouth for other things then drinking. Besides, it made your breath smell filthy.
Tonight, however, he had one damn intention: ******** someone until they had to call out from work. He had just finished a particularly stressful shoot and Kuro's appearance had set off that dangerous demon lurking in his chest, whining to let him give in. His brain had already become vulgar, eyes drinking up various dancing figures before a mild irritation set. Kuro was always obsessed with women, and not in the normal way men seem to be. Every time Kuro would set his eyes on a female Kuro would /appear/, and a dark part of him was growing increasingly annoyed with it. It wasn't the fact Kuro ruined some encounters, no. It was more that the only thing that seemed to perk his attention was when Kindle was going to take a woman for his. What was so fascinating about those boring wretches? A sadistic part of him almost wanted to cause Kuro discomfort, again, but targeting a female. <******** it. "Why don't you find a partner for tonight?" He suddenly questioned, voice teetering on an odd, almost growl luring under that purring tone. "Stop playing the hero for once and get a reward, mm?" With that he suddenly, as usual, slipped skillfully into the crowd, deliberately zig zagging to lose Kuro for a few seconds. It wouldn't last long, Kuro always knew how to find him in the end. [6:12:51 PM] Yushika: (( Whoops someone seems a bit pouty. -stares at Kindle - )) [6:14:36 PM] Yushika: (( I'm not at fault if he suddenly snaps. I can't control his muse nope. Blame Kuro. )) [6:15:19 PM] Jinx: (( Muse: You're kidding, right? You realize Kuro is, like, MADE for making someone like that snap. We're kind of counting on it over here... )) [6:15:47 PM] Yushika: (( You asked for it )) [6:16:23 PM] Jinx: (( Muse: No, Love. I demanded it. -pushes glasses further up, smirks- )) [6:16:47 PM] Jinx: (( I'm messing with raw chicken real quick, then I'll reply lol )) [6:16:53 PM] Yushika: (( Meanwhile my Muse is forcing me to keep finding songs to keep Kindle going. Okay! )) [6:17:01 PM] Yushika: (( WE SHOULD GET OUR MUSES AS FOXES SOMEDAY. )) [6:17:26 PM] Yushika: (( Mine would for sure be listening to music 24/7 )) [6:21:35 PM] Jinx: (( Mine would own a bookstore and be a closet fanfiction writer who ships favorite characters from books or customers she thought would look cute together XD )) [6:22:17 PM] Yushika: (( Mine would be obsessed with pairing up boys from animes and just grinning deviously )) [6:22:25 PM] Yushika: (( while music blasts full volume from the headphones )) [6:22:39 PM] Yushika: (( WANT ANOTHER SONG THAT FITS KINDLE RIGHT NOW? )) [6:25:24 PM] Jinx: (( SURE. I'M JUST WORKING ON MY REPLY)) [6:25:52 PM] Yushika: (( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1XgbEy9ZxY BAM. Another warning for it being a little raunchy! )) [6:25:56 PM | Edited 6:26:02 PM] Yushika: (( This one fits better I think )) [6:40:30 PM] Jinx: Kuro stared after Kindle, his face set in its usual expression of stoic watchfulness that revealed none of his confusion. It wasn't the first time Kindle had tried to ditch him in a crowd so he could go after a particular woman. It was however the first time Kindle had pretty much cut him loose. It certainly sounded like that was what his words meant. He'd even sounded mad. Not that Kuro wasn't used to Kindle's constant mood swings, but Kindle had called him to go out and was pretty much dropping him right at the start.
And what was all that stuff about playing a hero and getting a reward? Was he talking about all the times Kuro stuck his nose in when Kindle was putting his moves on a particular female? Kuro could hardly think of that as playing a hero. If anything he was pretty sure he unnerved some of them. He tried really hard not to scare any of them deliberately, but he had never had much personal charm and when standing next to someone like Kindle, who pretty much oozed charm... Didn't leave a lot of options.
Kuro glanced at the doors to the club, then sighed and moved to the bar. No point leaving when Kindle might change his mind. Besides, if he was in a mood that was even more reason to keep an eye out. Kuro ordered a simple drink at the bar and then began his lurking process. It didn't take long for him to spot the male, but he didn't approach. If there was one thing he could claim to be able to Kindle couldn't detect, it was find someone in a crowd and get over to them without being noticed. [6:40:57 PM] Jinx: (( I must now chop onions! I shall watch the video as I do. Also if you want to manipulate Kuro a bit, either in this next post or another, go for it. )) [6:53:51 PM] Jinx: (( Also Muse approves of that music video as well and says that Koisuru Boukun is about similar to how she images things will go the first time Kindle makes a real move XD Probably not the same, but similar )) [6:59:56 PM] Yushika: He was relieved the other didn't follow, spending the next few minutes weaving from person to person until he finally settled on a female that bore the same hair color as a certain someone. That would do. It would do /just/ fine.
The flirtations began.
It always started with a smile and a laugh. He stayed the polite gentleman, occasionally drawing just close enough to illicit a soft hitch of breath or a nervous blush. Ideal chatter was his least favorite stage, but it always seemed like that wanted to /talk/. Ramble, really, about pointless things like how they love the song playing and how they normally weren't the type to go clubs. Lies, really. And he'd smile, purring an agreement or a sympathetic response that always left them with a vague smile. People liked being listened to, he noticed, and typically were far too selfish to return the favor.
And then he felt the gaze.
He knew Kuro had found him, eyes flashing a dangerous expression as the sadistic side of him surfaced. Kuro was right, he /had/ sounded angry, and it was exactly because of these pathetic things he coveted; women. If he was a female would Kuro respond more? Notice more? The thought egged him on as his hands slid up his new targets hips, tempting her to the dance floor. It didn't take any persuasion to get her to agree, nor did she seem to mind his touches. She was a bold one, even, leaning into his brief grazes and even pushing herself into him at times. She was clumsy, but she'd do. The eager ones were always the most fun to play with. All they wanted was to please and hear they did a good job.
Kindle had briefly forgotten about Kuro, instead allowing himself to focus on the women dancing so nicely against his hands. /This/ was why he liked nicer clubs. She wasn't shaking her a**, nor was she grinding on him, and yet she managed to keep it seductive, though a bit clumsy here and there.
And then Kindle remembered those ******** /clothes/.
His eyes drastically narrowed, mouth tightening into a scowl as the woman seemed preoccupied with trying to move to the new beat. Kuro and his clothes, as if he deliberately knew how Kindle felt and was grinding it in his face. Aggression rippled through him, manifesting into a lust that often only surfaced lately when his frustrations with Kuro peaked. His head dipped, fingers brushing against her chin and lifting it as his mouth seized hers. The startled gasp from her melted into a soft sigh, body pressing into his hands as they slid around her hips and tugged her closer. The game had started. He'd toy with her with sweet kisses and gentle nibbles until she was begging for him to take her home, and he could care less what a certain shadow-y male thought. [7:12:52 PM] Jinx: (( -rolls an idea around, not sure if it would work or not- )) [7:14:02 PM] Yushika: (( What's the idea??? )) [7:14:47 PM] Jinx: (( Kuro gets up to them, makes eye contact, then another girl asks Kuro to dance with her. That's my initial idea, anyway. )) [7:16:16 PM] Yushika: (( Hmmmm that might work? Maybe? Or Kindle might grab the girl he's with in fuming mode and storm off with her while Kuro is busy )) [7:19:54 PM] Jinx: (( Yea, that's why I'm still playing around with the idea. I highly doubt the girl would turn away from Kindle to notice Kuro, so that is beyond out. Hmmmm. My other thought is Kindle looks up and Kuro is pretty much right there. What do you think is the best ways to get his attention to make him snap? )) [7:23:56 PM] Yushika: (( I THINK the best way is to just BE THERE, startling Kindle, and scaring the girl off. That'll make him snap real quick and he'd probably grab Kuro and drag him outside in a ******** rage and snap. )) [7:30:04 PM] Jinx: (( Try this? )) [7:30:05 PM] Jinx: Kuro hissed softly when he saw what was going on, though it was so loud on the dance floor that the sound was swallowed by all the music and swaying of bodies. No one was groping as he worked through the crowd though, and he had to admit it was an improvement over the floor of the club he worked at.
A part of him wanted very much to grab Kindle and drag the male off, but that wouldn't do any good. The male wouldn't listen, would just find another female to toy with. That was assuming Kuro could move Kindle at all. Kuro was much stronger than he looked, but so was Kindle, and Kindle had the advantage of height on him.
Still, he couldn't stand here doing nothing! Kuro continued to wind his way through the dance floor, keeping his eyes on Kindle. He could tell the moment the other knew Kuro was watching. It baffled him how Kindle could do that. Kuro knew Kindle couldn't see him, but he could feel Kuro's eyes. Even when Kuro shadow walked, Kindle always seemed to know when Kuro was around. Maybe he was just sensitive to being watched, what with his job and all. Kuro couldn't deny that his eyes were on Kindle more often than naught.
Kuro became lost in moving through the crowd. It was like a dance in its own right. He wove through the tangle of bodies, knowing where he was going but not paying strict attention on how he was getting there. Then a gap opened up, he slid through it, and there he was. He actually bumped right into the couple. The girl gasped, looked around, startled, saw Kuro and his pale, almost glowing eyes and shadowy hair. Something inside her seemed to wilt. She must not have a ton of experience in this kind of place. She turned to Kindle, trying to hitch her smile back up, but it was clear the mood was broken and she was moments away from possibly excusing herself entirely. [7:34:38 PM] Yushika: (( PERFECT omfg his muse is so mad )) [7:34:42 PM] Yushika: (( it hurts my head jfc )) [7:34:56 PM] Jinx: (( Muse: -evil cackle- )) [7:37:52 PM] Yushika: (( Am I allowed to man handle Kuro a little? Like drag and shove him into a wall? )) [7:38:07 PM] Yushika: (( No actual violence tho!!! )) [7:38:39 PM] Jinx: (( Well you can leave minor marks, like scratches or bruises, but yup. Have at! )) [7:51:12 PM] Yushika: He could sense movement as the gaze left him, and yet he ignored it. He wasn't in the mood to play games. It wasn't like he'd actually pull Kindle aw-
Did Kuro just slam into them?
For a second he froze, hands stiff as boards against the woman, not allowing her escape as he forgot she existed completely. His face was tense for the first time in ages, that famous smile sliding slowly from his features as his eyes finally allowed him to give the expression he had held in for years: anger. The air around them shifted as the tall male seemed to exude a predatory anger. The woman squirmed, letting out a squeak of relief when Kindle released her and turned to view Kuro, pink eyes almost swirling with rage. His smile suddenly returned, eyes remaining the same dark rage as the smile crept across his face.
'Crack'
Something in him cracked, spreading from his finger tips to his heart. He stared at the man, unable to properly express the pure rage he felt itching from deep under his skin.
'Crack!'
This man had undone him. Time and time again he denied Kindle any pleasure in responding to him, and now on the /one/ day he needed release more then ever he BUMPED INTO HIM?
'Snap!'
His hand lashed out, grabbing Kuro by the collar and dragging him through the crowd wordlessly, shooting a glance so severe at anyone who dared intervene that it probably would leave nightmares. Any struggle given was ignored as Kindle yanked the male outside of the club. He headed for the nearest alley, tossing Kuro roughly against the wall and slamming both hands against the side of Kuro's face, blocking escape. Oh yes, they both were rather strong, but he doubted Kuro had the strength to stop someone /this/ angry. He dared Kuro to try.
"You." He snarled, his voice cold as ice, snapping at Kuro with venom. For the first time his purr had escaped and turned into a menacing snarl. He was done playing games. He growled, pressing one of his hands against Kuro's waist and gripping tightly, a growl escaping from his lips as he leaned closer, inches from his face. A desperate ache ran through his body, edging him forward.
"You just won't /stop/." His voice shuddered with anger, twisting and turning against his tongue as he felt his body tense up against Kuro's. "What is it you want? /You/ come when I call. /You/ follow when I move. /You/ choose who I ******** and who I don't." He growled the vulgar curse inbetween his sense, snapping it out as if it was an offending action. This entire time Kindle had baited Kuro, yes, but /Kuro/ had decided to accept the bait. For what? To toy with him? Whatever emotion he felt snapping and yelling within his stomach was /Kuro's/ fault. /He/ angered Kindle. /He/ made him keep coming back and back for more. /He/ pulled the model. Kindle was done. He couldn't take being patient, or even try and /forget/ anymore. No. This was the last straw.
"Answer me." He ordered, the hand on Kuro's waist slamming back to the side of his head, trapping him once more. His resolve to hide his origin had vanished, flames flickering behind him, finally revealing what he was. He had half the mind to burn this male with how infuriating he had become! [8:03:47 PM | Edited 8:03:51 PM] Jinx: (( Muse: -totes thumbs up, but must wait for her human to clean up leftovers- )) Kuro was startled when Kindle first grabbed him, but not unduly so. He followed along as Kindle dragged him off the floor, but when he dragged him past the bar and the little seating areas Kuro felt the first stirrings of apprehension. When Kindle dragged him out of the club itself he made a half-hearted attempt to pull his arm free. He felt Kindle's grip tighten, nails digging into the flesh of Kuro's wrist. Before Kuro could decide whether to make another, stronger attempt they had reached an alley and Kindle all but threw Kuro in it. Before Kuro could recover suddenly there was something very close to him. There was nowhere he could go that Kindle wasn't blocking, nowhere he could look where Kindle wasn't in his line of sight. The very heat from Kindle's body seemed to press against Kuro to hold him to the wall.
Kuro was the shorter of the two and had to tilt his head back slightly to look up into Kindle's face. He was angry, angrier than Kuro had ever seen him before. The shadows of the alley stirred nervously, like a giant cat come to life. It was a good thing there were few passers by, and that none cared to look down the little nook. Kuro listened as Kindle ranted at him, and despite the pit of alarm that had settled in his stomach he could also feel his eyebrows raising. Since when had he told Kindle who he could and could not, to use Kindle's words, ********. Last time he checked, pretty much any time he checked, Kindle needed no one's permission to do anything.
Then flames began to spark in the air, and Kuro was afraid. Shadows convulsed around then, smothering the pair like someone had thrown a huge blanket over them. No one from the alley mouth would be able to see them at all, would likely not see anything but darkness even if they tried to enter the alley. It surrounded them like fog, but there was still nowhere for Kuro to escape. Even Kindle's flames seemed pale and without light in the middle of that fog, though the heat they put out could still be felt. The only source of clear illumination was Kuro. His pale eyes and skin which had seemed to glow on more than one occasion from how very pale they were were literally glowing. It was a soft glow, no more than the light of a full moon, but they could see.
Kuro finally got himself under control, though his mouth was still dry from that brief scare and he needed a second before he tried to talk. When he did he looked back into those angry pink eyes and refused to let them frighten him a second time. "You do these things. You knew I was not like you, but you persisted. You would not listen to me when I tried to turn you away. You continue to make the choice to call me. I could stop this at any point, but are like a child, picking at a wound to keep it open rather than leaving it be to heal and vanish." His eyes flashed as though made of a reflective metal. "Do not ask me what I want. What is it /you/ want." [8:52:16 PM] Jinx: (( And that is the most articulate Kuro will probably ever be XD We'll blame city living and exposure to Kindle for his improved speech patterns )) [9:01:50 PM] Yushika: The shadows enveloped them and his only response was to feed his flames, feeling them grow in size until their heat pushed against Kuro. His mouth pulled into a tight scowl as Kuro spoke, all formalities gone and replaced with a glower.
His fault? How the hell was it any of his fault? He wasn't the one tugging at something within him, like a harp. He was certain at this point Kuro had /done/ something. He was one of his kind, some had powers, what if Kuro had the power to lure others to him? He was to blame for this ravenous hunger that had no rhyme or rhythm, and Kindle would not accept any other answer. He was not the kind to attach, nor the kind to persist longer then a weeks time. Kuro had /done/ something. /Broken/ something precious, and the fire elemental demanded to know what.
'What is it /you/ want?'
The question rattled within his brain, causing an irritable growl to escape and one hand to snatch the back of Kuro's hair, yanking it roughly to expose the others neck.
"/You/." The word ripped from his mouth like a feral beast, flames suddenly vanishing as a frustrated groan escaped his mouth, teeth brushing against Kuro's neck and sinking, leaving a mark he was sure would last for a few days. His hands gripped Kuro's hair, tightening the second he felt any tension within the other. His bite turned into a lick, tongue lapping against the injured neck before he moved closed, wrapping an arm around Kuro's waist and digging nails into sensitive skin. The anger shuddered, giving away to a different, /warmer/ feeling as his mouth left small nips across Kuro's collar bone. His mind reeled, asking himself whether to stop here and just abandon Kuro, or to continue until he protested loud enough. Either way, he had gotten his point across. [9:30:33 PM] Jinx: Kuro didn't have time to process any of what was going on. He didn't even have time to think about Kindle's head sinking towards his shoulder. He just saw that dark head of coming towards him, felt the guttural growl of that single word in his bones. Then pain. Kuro yelped, but couldn't move. Kindle was pinning him to the wall with his body, his hand tangled in Kuro's black hair so that Kuro couldn't even move his head. His hands scrambled up, brushing against Kindle's chest, but Kindle's grip on his hair only tightened further when Kuro tried to shove Kindle back.
An arm moved to wrap around his waist, and there was more pain. He felt something warm and wet swipe across the point on his neck, bringing more pain. And something else. Kuro felt like someone had punched him in the stomach, that was how quickly his breath seemed to whoosh out of him. He gasped, trying to get back some air into his system and wondering what that was about. His skin felt like it was alive in a way he'd never felt before. He could feel everywhere Kindle was touching, could feel every point where Kindle had marked him.
A full-body shiver ran through Kuro, and suddenly he wasn't just fighting Kindle. He was fighting his own body. Every breath felt heavier, more difficult to take in. His knees were shaky and honestly Kuro was afraid that he might even have fallen if Kindle wasn't holding him at the waist. He pushed at Kindle's chest against, focusing on the pain in his scalp, trying to get his feet back under him and his body back under control.
What the hell was going on?
The resistance only encouraged Kindle, but to a point. A soft sigh escaped Kindle as he was pushed, the hand around Kuro's waist lifted and seized a hand, pulling it up against the wall. His stomach twisted, heart hammering as he pulled away from Kuro's neck and leaned upwards, capturing Kuro's mouth and almost letting out a hungry whimper into the others lips. His grip on Kuro's hand tightened, body leaning forward as he tasted Kuro's lips, his entire being feeling on fire as he /finally/ got a taste of what he had been /aching/ for.
What was wrong with him? This wasn't how it went. Normally he'd grab someone, give them a quick kiss out of obligation, and remove clothes. End of story. He couldn't with Kuro. He flicked his tongue against Kuro's desperately, hands suddenly releasing Kuro's hair and hands and reaching up to stroke Kuro's face. /This wasn't how it was supposed to go./
'Stop.'
Suddenly he became acutely aware of Kuro's responses, wrenching himself away with a frustrated growl. His arm raised, wiping his mouth as his head turned away, hair hiding his expression. Shame washed over him. He had given in. He had /hurt/ Kuro, probably, and most likely scared the s**t out of him. Worst of all, he had felt something flicker in his chest, sending his heart skipping when he finally claimed Kuro's lips. He stayed this way, arm froze over his mouth and hair covering any chance of Kuro seeing an expression. He didn't move, stiff and cold. He didn't say a word, instead letting the experience marinate between them. Now Kuro knew, he'd probably never see him again.
Fine.
Though he was no closer to freeing himself, Kuro felt something shift in how he was being held. Warm fingers encircled his right wrist and tugged, pinning it against a cold, rough wall. Kuro's body continued to react in bizarre ways, as though that single bite had released all his strength. He couldn't keep his left hand up against Kindle's chest anymore, not on its own, and as his fingers twisted into the expensive fabric he had to admit he was doing little more than just holding on at this point.
The other hand was still in his hair, but it was no longer necessary. Suddenly something loomed in his vision, then Kuro felt something warm and soft press against his mouth. He screwed his eyes shut while his heart sped up. Another shiver went through him as something warm and wet brushed against his lips. The need for air was greater than ever, but there was nothing he could do.
Then as suddenly as it had all began, it stopped. Without Kindle pinning him up to that wall, Kuro managed to half turn and take a single shaky step backward before his prediction proved correct and his knees gave out. He feel towards the ground in a crumpled heap, managing to land in a sitting position and grunting softly at the impact he barely even felt. He curled in on himself, bringing his legs up and wrapping his arms around them while he pressed his face against his knees. It wasn't like he could run anyway, not with his body like this. He inhaled great, shaking breaths of air as his thoughts spun around like they were caught in a whirlpool. He literally could not catch ahold of any single thought before it was swept away in the maelstrom of confusion.
He didn't-. He wasn't-. What-. How-. Why-. Just a scattering of half-formed beginnings to questions he couldn't even coherently form just yet. All he could do was sit there on the ground, trembling, his long dark hair forming a curtain between him and the world. To be honest Kindle probably could have left him there and he wouldn't have notice. Shadows drifted around him, the way light move and reflected under water. Just little wisps that did nothing but circle aimlessly around the alley.
He watched Kuro collapse from behind his arm, eyes narrowing. Ha, of course, what had he expected? A welcoming embrace? Kuro to respond with just as much need. The man was frightened now, and Kindle had caused it.
Something twitched in his heart, causing it to drop into his stomach, leaving an odd and ccld dread through his stomach. He couldn't go back to before. Kuro would avoid him, wouldn't he? Hell, Kuro had his phone number and address, and now Kindle was sure they'd never come into use. They were done. Kindle had tasted what he wanted, or, a part of it, and now they were over. What was over? Did they even have anything in the first place?
No, they hadn't.
Kuro had a point, /Kindle/ caused all this. He had harassed the male, pushed him into a corner and lashed out when the male didn't give him the right response. Pathetic. It took this to finally make him realize.
"Tch." He sucked his teeth, removing his jacket and draping it over Kuro. "You'll get a cold." He mumbled, stepping past him. This was it, he guessed. It was time to finally let Kuro have some peace and quiet, like he had wanted probably.
"Keep the jacket." He muttered before leaving the alley, heading towards his home on foot. He needed the walk.

Kuro had eventually made it home that night, though he couldn't have said just how long he'd sat there in that alley. He didn't really remember making the choice to get up, or the walk home. By the time his brain had started working again, he was glaring at the morning sunlight peeking through cracks in his blinds. Kuro hadn't left his apartment at all that day. Once his mind woke up it kicked into gear with a vengeance. His immediate reaction was to write it off as a weird dream. Then he'd shifted, and his right shoulder had throbbed with a fierce ache. He looked down, and saw a massive bruise in what was clearly a bite mark.
He probably spent a full hour still lying in bed after he woke up, just staring at the window and cataloging everything that had happened. Then another hour, going back and piecing together little things, little "quirks" of Kindle's that only made perfect sense in hindsight. By the third hour his body expressed a need to visit the bathroom, and that's when he got another surprise. He'd seen part of the large bruise on his right shoulder, but it wasn't until he was facing his mirror that he noticed the peppering of purple/black bruises scattered like freckles leading from the giant bruise to all along his collarbone. Kuro stared then reached up to poke a few of them, pale eyes a bit wide as he watched his reflection and felt the throbs of pain when he poked his skin. Finally he cleaned out the bite mark, though Kindle actually hadn't done more than scrape the surface. There was no dried blood or open wounds, just a very distinctive and darkly colored bruise.
Kuro didn't get much done that day. He watered the plants in his window boxes, was pretty sure he ate something though he couldn't remember what. He spent a good portion of the day just laying on his bed, stretched out on his back with his left arm tucked under his head and the right spread out so as to spare his shoulder. He stared at the ceiling and thought.
What had happened that day? It didn't make sense. Kindle was strong, sure, and he had the advantage of size, weight, and surprise. But thinking back now, there was a hundred different ways Kuro could have gotten out of there. When Kuro laid down a shadow screen, no light but his own could really reach through it. Kuro didn't even need the light. To his eyes, there were no truly dark places. Kindle had flames, and that was still a bit of a shocker, but no matter how hot the flame it would have been, at best, like trying to see through murky water at night. Kuro needed only a foot of space between them to vanish, the shield was that strong.
So why hadn't he done that? Why hadn't he slipped free and made a run for it? He'd been chewed on and licked by dogs before, and there was never any sensation like his limbs going to water. So if it wasn't him, it must have been something Kindle did. But what? Kuro thought long and hard about it, traded around several ideas. Finally he came to a few conclusions. One, Kindle had some kind of magic besides flames and had done something to Kuro. Two, that drink Kuro had had been spiked and it was just bad timing for the drugs to kick in. Three......Kuro had been aroused by Kindle. That third one made him frown. Kuro had never thought of himself as gay, or even bi, like Kindle was. He'd never met a male who made him think indecent thoughts. Hell, even with females he rarely had those kinds of thoughts, so he'd started to think maybe he was just a true loner. But his reactions last night....had definitely been reactions.
In the end that whole day was given over to thinking. Kuro eventually got some sleep. When the second day after the incident dawned Kuro was able to properly clean up today. The bruises were still there, still vivid, though the small ones were starting to change to a greenish purple. He did straightened up, got a decent meal, did some laundry. He'd stared at Kindle's jacket for a moment, debating whether or not to throw it in with the pile. With a mental shrug he'd set it aside. It wasn't that dirty, and he had no clue it was made of. He'd probably ruin it if he tried to wash it. He hadn't even had to think about whether he would return it or not, because one way or the other it was for the best. He was either going to have to see Kindle and talk to him, or cut out as many reminders of the male in his life. Having that jacket around wouldn't help with the forgetting process.
Kuro had to work that day, but his job didn't require so much of his focus that his thoughts weren't still full of distractions. And so continued the pattern. In the end it wasn't until the sun rose on the fourth day after the incident that Kuro decided he had to see Kindle again, not just to return the jacket but to figure out just what happened that night. It was good timing too, since he had a few days off. He'd thought about it, and decided Kindle's home was the best place to find him. It would be too hard, if not impossible, to go looking through the clubs, and there might be more than one market around town. But Kindle had to go home eventually, and Kuro knew the address.
He dressed in dark clothes, the jacket neatly folded and tucked under his arm. Kindle lived in a much nicer neighborhood than Kuro did, but then a lot of people lived in nicer neighborhoods than Kuro. When he reached the place he stood, staring up at the windows and doors. Was Kindle home now? Should he knock? What if he wasn't, or didn't want to talk to Kuro? What if he was on some long trip? Kuro eyed the windows and wondered if they were properly locked. He could just sneak in and check; the state of the house would answer his questions. Kuro crept through the bushes and tried a window. It went up with hardly a push. Getting into the house quietly and without being possibly seen was a slow, difficult process, but finally Kuro's feet touched down on wooden flooring.
He looked around, able to see through the darkness and shadows without needing to let his eyes adjust, then picked the direction he thought went back to the bedroom. He eyed the kitchen as he passed it. Everything was clean, no signs of use, but Kindle was neat so that didn't necessarily mean he hadn't been here. Treading lightly, Kuro slipped off to the direction of the bedroom.
He was home, for the first time in days. A long and lanky male slept curled into a ball in a queen sized bed, completely nude. He looked worn, as if he had done nothing but work the entire time. In truth, he had. Kuro's passive rejection had drained him, and he never quite put a finger on /why/. Eventually, he had decided to just /forget/ about Kuro. It was for the best, and he sure Kuro had already forgotten about him.
Long hair kissed the sleeping males cheeks. He was too tired to wake, though normally he'd jolt up the second he heard any sound in his home, but Kuro had luck on his side, and the fact Kindle had abused himself with lack of sleep.... [12:29:39 AM] Yushika: (( short BUT HE'S SLEEPING and I wanted to get to you responding ASAP since this is really interesting )) [12:30:22 AM] Jinx: (( -tries to type fast- )) [12:45:05 AM] Jinx: (( Also, do we want to use the jacket as a tie or does Kindle have anything in his house Kuro would use? )) [12:45:32 AM] Yushika: (( Use the jacket! o u o )) [12:45:37 AM] Yushika: (( Or his scarves )) [1:08:22 AM] Jinx: Kuro cautiously poked his head through open doorways, leaving the closed doors alone. It was actually a small house, a nice place but no huge mansion like some of the people Kindle worked with. That's what Kindle said anyway. Compared to Kuro's tiny apartment, this place was huge!
He actually only had to poke his nose into two doorways before he found what he was looking for. There, in the middle of a bed that was about as big as the entire kitchen area in Kuro's home, was Kindle. Kuro flushed slightly, seeing the man's exposed body. Hadn't Kindle mentioned that he slept nude before? Kuro thought he had, but he hadn't really been giving that conversation much of his attention. He slipped carefully into the room, keeping the shadows as he did so. If Kindle woke up now the most he would be able to see was a shadowy corner that might have been a touch darker than normal. He likely wouldn't even notice it at all.
Kuro stood there, watching Kindle for his spot in the corner. He wasn't sure exactly what he was doing. The mission was to figure out if Kindle was home. He hadn't thought ahead to what to do if Kindle /was/ there. He didn't want to wake the other, but as soon as he'd spotted Kindle he realized he couldn't just leave without confronting the him. Wasn't that the point anyway, to figure out all that had happened that night?
Kuro probably stood there staring for a solid hour without realizing it, wondering what to do. If his second theory proven correct, he would know immediately. But the first and third theories were tricky. If it was the first, how did that work? Maybe it was the bite? Something in his saliva? No, it had to be the bite. Kuro was pretty sure they'd drank from the same glass often enough, by mistake or otherwise, to rule out saliva. It couldn't be touch either, Kindle had touched him all the time. So how did Kuro make sure Kindle couldn't bite him? He was asleep now, but Kuro was pretty sure the moment he touched Kindle that would change. Kuro's eyes drifted to Kindle's long hair. A flesh memory went through him; his own hair, being roughly pulled and holding him in place. Kuro flushed, but went with the thought. If he got Kindle's hair, he could control Kindle's head. But what about his hands? Kindle used his body to pin Kuro, but Kuro was a little too short to pull that off /and/ hold Kindle's hair. Could he tie them? He looked down at the jacket he held in his arms, considering it, then glanced around the room. His eyes lit upon a collection of scarves hanging from little hooks. Those would do nicely.
Walking slowly, his fog of shadow following him, Kuro went over and grabbed a handful of scarves before carefully making his way back. Shadows could hide him from sight, but they did nothing for sound. He stared at Kindle, wondering how to go about this. Ideally he would tie the arms behind Kindle's back, but they were going to have to be a front tie. They were bent at an angle, sprawled in front of him. It was probably the best chance Kuro was going to get. He made slip knots at the ends of the scarves and worked one over each wrist, pulling it ever so slightly closed but not tight just yet. It sounded easy, but Kuro's muscles were aching as he tried not to breath and moved centimeter by centimeter. If Kindle woke up now, all his planning would be for nothing. He looked down at his work, pondering, then carefully tied more slip knots. When finished he had a third scarf tied between the two on Kindle's wrists, running behind Kindle. Slip knots were all over the place, but none had been tightened just yet. The scarves were light and small enough that if he had to Kuro could yank them all tight in a second by pulling the shadows, but just that would leave him tired. He'd rather try to get the knots done by hand.
The thing was....now what?
Kuro had Kindle's arms potentially secured and could easily get hold of his hair to control Kindle's movements. But what about the lower body? He was pushing his luck way too far as it was, and if he had to pull more knots closed he was going to exhaust himself. Shadow manipulation was that hard on him. Kindle's hair was easily grab-able and would allow Kuro to control Kindle's movements to an extent, but what about Kindle's lower half. He was forced to conclude that the best way to keep Kindle from moving would be to sit on him, straddling the bigger male. Kuro was heavier than he looked, being mostly muscle, and if he could pin Kindle down he would have the advantage.
But then what? Was he going to have to duplicate what Kindle had done to him? It was probably the only way to be sure...
At no point did it really cross Kuro's head that what he was doing was highly creepy. He just wanted some answers.
He set the jacket down and moved next to the bed, where he spent another ten minutes just staring, working up the nerve. Then Kindle frowned in his sleep and started to adjust to a new position. Kuro froze, ready to yank the ties securely if he had to, but Kindle settled for a moment. Now or never. Kuro placed a hand on the bed, took a wrist tie in the other hand, and carefully worked the knot tighter. Then he put his weight on the hand resting on the bed and swung himself up, carefully but quickly, and came to a position hovering just above Kindle. He put his weight on his knees, trying not to actually sit on the other, and tightened the other wrist tie. He immediately went for the third scarf, pulling both knots so that Kindle's arms were more behind his back. The entire time he watched Kindle's face, sure the other would wake at some point in this process. He was ready. As soon as Kindle tried to move he was positioned to use his weight to press the other down so that he couldn't use get free.
The second Kuro put his weight on the bed was the second flames appeared.
Kindle jolted, pink eyes snapping open and mouth creating a gasp as flames suddenly appeared in the air, ready to descend and set fire to.... /whoever was on the bed/. He made a jerking motion, stopping when suddenly it was very apparent someone was /on/ him. A savage growl left him as he prepared to attack, and then he recognized the hair.
........
"K-Kuro?!" He immediately yelped, mind reeling at this point. What the hell was going on? Was Kuro going to murder him for earlier? Was this the day his dad always warned him about? ********, shi- AND he was naked under him. Kuro had plenty of access to his vital parts. His flames /did/ vanish, though his eyes locked on the other, hands raising to try and shove the other off only to feel restraint.
...................
"What the hell?" [1:19:11 AM] Yushika: (( A part of him is like "this has to be a dream, Kuro would never have the balls to do this )) [1:20:09 AM] Jinx: (( If he was totally normal in the noggin, Kindle would be correct XD But Kuro's his own little brand of insane )) [1:38:07 AM] Jinx: (( So I'm going to hand you this. Let me know if you want me to continue it or if you want to insert your own reply. I didn't want to forge too far ahead. )) [1:38:08 AM] Jinx: Kuro flinched as the flames flickered above him. He had to admit that he probably hadn't thought this whole thing through, but how else was he supposed to secure Kindle so that /Kuro/ could be in control? He just had to hope Kindle was attached to his bedding. And those scarves. Yea, he so didn't have time to waste right now. If he tried to think about this every advantage he had now would be gone. This was a one-shot sort of thing. So Kuro didn't think.
He angled his lower body, pressing his knees close so he could keep most of his weight on them but angling his legs from the knee down to press on Kindle's legs. He also lowered his body. He was aware of how strong Kindle was, feeling the muscles beneath him straining one way then the other, and it wasn't impossible that Kuro might find a knee in a highly inconvenient place. His chest hovered so close to Kindle that the cloth from his shirt brushed bare skin. He slid his hands up either side of Kindles face, burying his fingers in the black hair for a better hold, but using his actual hands to hold Kindle's face to keep him from leaning forward.
Kuro brought his face close, then turned to the side. The tip of his nose skimmed along the skin of Kindle's neck. He had to admit the other man always smelled good, though this was the first time he'd been this close. Well, this close and aware enough to be paying attention. Kuro continued downward, brushing nose and lips against Kindle's collarbone. Then he lightly nipped the flesh below him. His bites were much gentler than Kindle's had been, tiny nips of the skin followed by a brushing of his lips over the spot.
A curious sensation was forming in the pit of his stomach. Kuro paused in his ministrations as he considered it. It was vaguely familiar. He did a mental check of his limbs, but there was no trembling. So far no theory had been proved or disproved. Kuro dipped his head a bit further down, raking his teeth over the upper part of Kindle's chest. He was careful not to break skin, though as he began leaving little bites along Kindle's chest he was biting with a bit more force, suckling on the skin and sweeping his tongue over the spot before moving to a new area.
Kuro was completely right, he was strong and had begun to struggle. At one point a flame even appeared, about to burn the scarves when suddenly Kuro touched his hair and face. His body seized, eyes widening and body attempting to lean away from the touch. His body was completely stiff as Kuro seemed to leaned closer, eyes snapping shut once he came dangerously close to his neck.
Kuro WAS going to kill him!
Except... wait. His awareness had heightened due to confusion and apprehension, so the touch against his collar-bone was enough to send a cold vibration through his spine. His mouth parted in alarm, about to snap out a retort when Kuro bit down.
"What are y- nnn!" His eyes snapped shut, body shuddering under the nips and scrapings of his body. His body was going hyper-alert, and it was betraying him as the strange male seemed to toy with him. His brain was far from confused now, it had just gone /blank/. He had no way of comprehending what was happening, and so his body stopped trying. Instead it arched when Kuro swept his tongue across his skin, fingers stretching and flexing as Kindle attempted to refrain from making any unwelcoming sounds. He still was unsure if Kuro was trying to taste him before cannibalizing, or....
Or what? this entire experience baffled him! One second the introvert is curled into himself on the ******** ground, and the next he's –
/Straddling him/.
The second he realized that his body heated up, head snapping to the side to gaze at the strange male. "Kuro?" [1:49:24 AM] Jinx: (( Well that would kill the mood if we ended the story with "And then Kuro killed and ate Kindle, and lived strangely ever after!" )) [1:50:13 AM] Yushika: (( MHM. Okay but he has no clue dude. Imagine you're a dude. A hot one. You made out with the guy you want to ******** so badly and have a crush on, he rejects. AND THEN HE'S ON YOU, YOU'RE TIED UP, OH AND BTW HE BROKE INTO YOUR HOUSE )) [1:50:31 AM] Yushika: (( First thing in his head = Kuro is taking revenge )) [1:50:49 AM] Yushika: (( Second thing = ******** he's in my bed why am I tied up this would be an excellent time to do things )) [1:51:02 AM] Yushika: (( third thought = NO SERIOUSLY KURO WANTS REVENGE )) [1:52:40 AM] Jinx: (( Nah Kindle, if Kuro wanted revenge you'd have gotten a bitten lip or a kneed groin, or a ton of other equally pleasant things that one night. Not a shaking lump sitting on the ground XD )) [1:53:18 AM] Yushika: (( I'm pretty sure in a few minutes Kindle will be too busy to think stupid things like that )) [2:07:08 AM] Jinx: Kuro felt Kindle's body reacting beneath him. With so much of his own body carefully set to contain Kindle, it was impossible not to notice. Their chests brushed against each other when Kindle arched up. With his face so close to Kindle's chest and throat, Kuro could hear the soft sounds being repressed, feeling them as small shivering vibrations. Without thinking about it one of his hands slid from Kindle's face and along his body, the finger brushing over Kindle's chest, running over a hardened n****e, before dipping down to trace the path of muscles of his abdomen. Kindle felt warm underneath him. Kuro was feeling a little flushed himself. Was Kindle giving off that much heat, like a flame himself? Or was it Kuro's own body?
'Kuro?'
Kuro glanced up at the sound of his name. His eyes met Kindle's. There was a moment, a brief moment, where Kuro felt like a million things had passed through his head yet it was also empty. The moment seemed to last forever, and for a brief second. He felt something simultaneously twist and burn inside him, and he didn't really remember what, if any, plan he was supposed to be following at this point. He just used his elbows to bring himself back up towards Kindle's face, and pressed his lips against the other's.
Kuro wasn't what you'd call an experienced kisser. All he knew was from maybe one brief date a long time ago, talks he'd had with his parents, plain ol' observation at work, and his experience with Kindle. Kuro angled his head until it felt right, then his tongue flicked out to trace along Kindle's lower lip like he remember. Without any real experience of his own, he was going just by instinct and feeling.
Kindle's mind had erased though, body squirming under Kuro's hot hands, fluctuating between trying to lean away and /press/ into the touch. He was conflicted. He always was the one doing this, and yet feeling it himself left him numb with each touch. He had, for so long, wanted to pin Kuro down and explore, yet the roles were reversed and he found his body aching. He /enjoyed/ it, and for the first time wanted to relinquish all control to the other.
Yet, the question still remained: why? Why was Kuro suddenly visiting him in the night? Was this a.... kink of his? ********, did it even matter? Did he ******** care? All he cared about, right this second, was the desperate need starting to build up and the warmth Kuro's body spread.
He was snapped from his pondering when Kuro did the unexpected: kiss him. That was the point he gave up, pressing needfully into the kiss, tongue darting against Kuro's as a soft moan left him, body shivering under the touch. His hands raised in an attempt to grab Kuro, instead staying in place and causing a low grunt of disapproval.
Was the tying him up really necessary? [2:17:36 AM] Jinx: (( Yes Kindle, yes it was. )) [2:18:04 AM] Yushika: (( He secretly loves it. The control freak is going to be horrified later when he remembers this )) [2:19:58 AM] Jinx: (( Do you want to keep going with this scene, or do a fade out and leave details to the imagination? )) [2:20:14 AM] Yushika: (( Keep going is fine! I'm still in my comfortable range! )) [2:21:42 AM] Yushika: (( literally I only get uncomfortable when d**k tries to go in peoples genitals so. -SHRUG- Fondling and cuddles is totally A++++ )) [2:22:44 AM] Jinx: (( Well I'm going to move upstairs where it isn't so cold and I shall work on a reply! )) [2:23:16 AM] Yushika: (( Raaaad! )) [2:43:12 AM] Jinx: Kuro broke the kiss only when his body made it clear he was either going to need air or black out. He hovered over Kindle, panting in low, harsh breaths. When he pressed his lips to Kindle's a second time he had grown bolder. His tongue darted out to explore not just Kindle's lips, but his mouth. His tongue explored, tasting the other man and battling for dominance in the kiss.
As Kindle's body arched against his, Kuro became aware of two things. A hard length that brushed against his leg through cloth, and a feeling of heat and entrapment of his own. His clothes were made for comfort, but his pants were feeling uncomfortably tight right now.
Kuro shivered, hovering over Kindle. He hadn't really planned for this. Hell, he hadn't exactly /planned/ anything! Things were fast reaching a point where his highly limited experience turned into absolutely no experience, and he hadn't the slightest clue what to do. [2:54:53 AM] Yushika: Kindle gave a quick and abrupt groan when Kuro broke the kiss, arching and pulling against the restraints in attempts to reclaim Kuro's mouth. His face was flushed, eyes hazy and breath burning hot, coming out if pants as he stared at the male. The second kiss was /much/ more appealing, tongue battling with Kuro's before he allowed the other to win, hands once more returning to trying to grab as he felt his limit arriving. He wanted /out/. He wanted to reach up and grab Kuro and drag him down. Actually, maybe it was smart Kuro had restrained him.
He whimpered into Kuro's mouth, feeling himself brush against the male and desperately bucking his hips. Impatience lashed, mouth suddenly breaking the kiss and teeth nipping Kuro's lips in agitation. He was fully aware of how inexperienced Kuro probably was, and yet a haze had taken over the trapped model, luring him to follow only the desire he felt rapidly growing as the other straddled him.
"Kuro." This was not a question but instead a moan, head leaning back as a low and dejected sigh left him when he finally saw exactly what Kuro had used to restrain him. He squirmed, pressing a leg against the bed to help level his weight and turning to view the other, mouth parting in a soft and needy sigh.
"Please." His voice wavered, body leaning up to steal a third kiss before the other could respond or try and pull away, hands once more straining to touch the dominant partner. It was torture being unable to move, even more so now that the man he had wanted for so long was /on/ him and returning his own desires. [2:55:05 AM] Yushika: (( One day, Kuro, you will receive payback for this. Kindle wants you to be aware of this. )) [2:55:34 AM] Jinx: (( Muse: Promise? -waggles eyebrows- )) [2:56:11 AM] Yushika: (( Oh boy. If they're going to be a power switching couple, which FASCINATES me, then absolutely. Kindle gets tied up? So does Kuro, and it'll be waaaay worse, he's decided. )) [2:56:59 AM] Yushika: (( That moment where Kindle's partner looks totally chill and like a totally relaxed kind of dude but no one has any idea what Kindle and Kuro do behind closed doors. Kindle has ideas. )) [2:58:13 AM] Jinx: (( Well Kuro learns fast, so Kindle would have to have quite a few ideas XD )) [2:59:13 AM | Edited 2:59:49 AM] Yushika: (( Kuro would need to. Kindle is used to a very very sex heavy lifestyle, and when he settles down he can only bang one person, and that person he also loves so all he'll want to do is either cuddle + be romantic sap, or be a kinky brat. SORRY NOT SORRY KURO YOU WALKED INTO THIS )) [3:00:53 AM] Jinx: (( -has a mental image of Kuro hiding in shadows and Kindle going around with a broom poking at every shadowy corner in the house- )) [3:01:17 AM] Jinx: (( -with fluffy handcuffs or something dangling from his other hand- XD )) [3:01:59 AM] Yushika: (( OMFG jfc I could see them doing a power struggle where they're both like "no i want to be on top tonight' and Kuro pulls that s**t, just read to pounce. )) [3:05:07 AM] Jinx: (( Also I feel like with practice Kuro could undo handcuffs using his shadows. Kindle needs to get good at tying knots, with a backup knot so that Kuro can't try to loosen anything XD )) [3:05:37 AM] Yushika: (( Jfc Kindle finally has a partner to match him. )) [3:28:35 AM] Jinx: (( Yaoi manga, take the wheel! I use the things you have taught me to try walking Kuro through it all XD But seriously, Kindle should buy Kuro a book or something. )) [3:28:37 AM] Jinx: Kuro pressed briefly on Kindle, but allowed him to sit up. Their legs were tangled together, chests separated by the thinnest of margins. It occurred to Kuro that his clothes were very much in the way, but he couldn't foresee a good moment to try to be rid of them. Kuro willing leaned in for the third kiss. He wasn't sure how he felt about this position. There was a lot less leverage, and that made the battle of tongues all the harder to win. He did have the advantage of free arms though, and brought his hands up and buried them in Kindle's hair, drawing the male closer to deepen the kiss. He released a few breathy moans and sighs of his own.
Things were getting very uncomfortable now. With a low groan he shifted away from Kindle, seizing the button of his pants and fighting with his zipper. He didn't think he had the coordination to pull his pants off entirely, so he just freed his hardened member and moved close again.
He had no clue how two guys were supposed to be intimate, but Kuro had touched himself in the past. He pressed his face to the spot where Kindle's neck met his shoulders, pressed kisses and soft nips against the hot flesh, tongue darting out to taste the sweat. If Kindle was feeling anything like Kuro, he couldn't wait too much long. Kuro pressed them together and took both of their members in his hand. His movements were slow at first, hesitant, but as he moved he soon found a rhythm that suited them both. He trailed more small nibbles up Kindle's neck, tracing the line of his jaw before reclaiming his lips. He kept his hand moving, feeling the tension within him growing. If Kindle's moans meant anything he was feeling the same. The feeling built within him until it reached a point so pleasureful it was almost pain. A bright light flashed before his eyes and Kuro arched, blacking out for a brief moment. He came back, a feeling of relief washing over him even as his muscles protested all the tensing and strange positions.
Next to him, Kindle was similarly spent. He wasn't sure if the other had come before, after, or at the same time as Kuro, but it was a bit of a pointlessly random thought, now that he was actually starting to think again.
The delightful acceptance of the kiss left Kindle unable to do anything but feverishly explore the others mouth, releasing soft and desperate moans here and there as he felt his body screaming for a certain body part to be touched. He didn't expect the other to remove themselves from him, leaning towards the direction where Kuro had slipped to and hanging there with eyes that bore a hunger he had, for so damn long, kept under wraps. Hot pants left his body as he struggled, letting out a sigh of relief when Kuro returned.
A sly smirk crossed his features, his previous coy attitude returning for the briefest of seconds when his eyes gazed down and noticed that it wasn't just him aroused. "Mmm.' His body ached for Kuro, fingers spreading and pulling against the cloth desperately, trying anything to close the distance between them.
He freed a leg, wrapping it around Kuro's hip as the other leaned close to pleasure his neck. His head tossed back, throat emitting a soft gasp and hips lifting. It wasn't long before the soft gasps evolved into moans, twisting out Kuro's name time to time as he struggled, again, to grip the male, once more denied. s**t. Unexperienced or not, Kuro had known exactly what Kindle wanted, and his raising moans and hip bucks were enough to let the other know he was doing a damn good job. As he felt the pleasure reach its peak he let out a sharp cry, back arching violently as he yelped his partners name.
Later, he'd be ashamed of course. Never had he made those sounds or allowed someone to bring /him/ to climax. Yet, something about Kuro made his chest hammer, and it wasn't just the fact he had finally received the relief he so desperately and hungrily had needed, with the man he had lusted after for months. No, it was something else. Kuro's voice, his touch, even just his breath against his skin sent his body into a fever, and he was powerless against it.
The male was calming down, gasps turning into pants and then eventually just soft, irregular breathing. His body spasmed here and there as it lazily allowed the waves of after-pleasure to roll over him. The smile on his face was small, but lurking.
"Untie me." He ordered, voice regaining the familiar power it once had, though his face was perhaps far softer then it ever had before. He almost glowed as relief radiated through him. "Please."
Kuro debated the request for a moment. But really, what else was he supposed to do? Kindle knew where he lived, and likely there would be hell to pay if Kuro just up and left him. Besides his bones felt like jelly and he didn't want to move around much just yet. He took one of Kindle's wrists, careful not to pull too hard and wrench the opposite arm, and tugged at the tie. It fell free, leaving one of Kindle's wrists bare and the other with a long scarf rope attached to it.
Kindle immediately move to work on the other scarf, freeing his other hand and quickly rolled over to wrap his arms around Kuro, using his entire body weight to pull the male down and curl into his back, holding him against his chest. He didn't let his hands drift, already exhausted by the intensely emotional and physical draining experience. A fear flickered, briefly. Kuro was tired, and so was he, he could use this to his advantage and hold the other until sleep overcame him. He wasn't sure what would come in the morning, and a part of him feared that this night had just been a curious whim that never would be repeated.
He'd wait for morning before asking questions, instead rolling to the side to lick Kuro's ear affectionately before nuzzling into him, eyes closing. ********. He felt so much better, and Kuro fit right into his chest.
Kuro bit back a yelp when Kindle grabbed him and toppled them both down, but otherwise didn't struggle or protest. He half-expected it, knowing how touchy Kindle could be, and would later be surprised Kindle hadn't done more than that. But right now he was tired. It was like all the worry and bad habits in the last few days all stream rolled into one moment to hit him, and nothing seemed better than sleep right now. If having to put up with being turned into a giant pseudo-plushie meant he didn't have to move, he supposed he would get used to all this cuddling. Or whatever if was.
Kuro was already half asleep when Kindle licked his ear, replying with nothing more than a half-articulate grumpy mumble before he pressed his face against Kindle's chest and fell into comforting darkness.
