Part of the job of being the leader of a (poorly going) underground movement meant walking around strange places for people. While taverns were preferable, the forest was better. Her father was working today, leaving Wren to her business, mask affixed firmly as she walked under the guise of the Masked Vagrant. While no glamor afforded her protection, she didn't rely on magic to hide her identity. A well padded suit, a facemask to hiide her scars, and a hat to cast shadow on her face, along with the good sense not to enter the City proper with her guise on unless she felt like stealing a lieutenant. Momentarily she regretted having to use force on those Negaverse who didn't cooperate, but only them and only because of safety concerns. The few who made the pledge were promised her protection, and the woman intended to keep her word.
No, today was a walk to find more Order, and the brunette was practically a shadow herself, moving calmly as she listened for signs of anyone.
She would prevail.
One way or another.

Sphalerite wasn't out in the forest often, but that day she was. She'd been checking in, seeing if she was needed and if there was a new bundle of info for her or another message to go across 'Still Alive'. And once she had everything, it was back towards the city, careful to be quiet and sneaky. She never liked going back to Destiny City, not since Purifying...but it had to be done. She had to go back to being Kasih, for the sake of keeping up the good fight.
When she heard something run past her, she startled and dropped the bag that had been on her shoulder, scarf held at the ready as she slipped into a defensive stance.
Only to be met with a squirrel. "Oh. Well...s**t. Sorry little nutbeast. You spooked me!"

Wren turned towards the noise with an almost-unnatural calm. Her gait became brisk and Wren approached with a neutral expression. This was business.
"Good day, my dear." Wren smiled behind her mask, bowing and tipping her fedora quite pleasantly. This didn't look like the normal people she spoke to - weak Senshi seeking safety, Pages - all those she could handle. This looked like a challenge.
Wren liked a challenge.
"You look lost. Do you need help?"

The new voice had Sphalerite on the defensive again, and this time...there was caution in the young woman's eyes as she observed the other. Why a mask? She didn't look like a Nega agent, didn't feel like one either...but she definitely wasn't a Knight or Senshi. She seemed to relax, but her stance was ready to run and dodge if need be.
"Nah, but thanks! Headed back into the city now. Just got spooked by the squir-and there it goes. At least it didn't take my sandwich." She huffed and rolled her eyes. "Something I can help you with? What brings you out here?" She could totally play just being in costume...

"Checking things out, out here." Wren watched the girl, then the squirrel, rocking on her heels idly. "Just a simple matter of exploring, really. It's so stuffy under those in charge." Her tone was easy and smooth, the girl sighing. "I just needed a break, and sometimes I meet people. What about you?"
