Skell's father delivered a similar announcement, causing Skell to turn a similar shade of red. Waitwaitwaitwaitwait - what was that about kids?' Well, he supposed if he had to have kids with someone, it certainly could've been worse... and then that led to thoughts of the him and Skyler going through the act of said baby making, which in turn caused him to blush harder.

Skyler sat down at the table thinking about the announcement as the village was partying. Her father was laughing with the other men drinking his weigh in mead. She sighed before looking at Stormburner. he was happily eating his pile of fish.

Shaking his head, Skell soon joined in the feast. Naturally, since this was a viking feast, that meant it eventually devolved into a rowdy, chaotic free-for-all brawl between the males and several of the females. Said brawl devolved even further into anarchy once the dragons decided to get in on the fun (the ones that could fit, anyway), Bloodbolt and Skell in particular holding their own quite well.

Skyler walked around sipping her mead. Some of the kids played around her along with the baby dragons. Some of the boys her age were dancing with the other girls. Skyler smiled at the dancing. She walked back to Stormburner to check him over.

Eventually, however, Skell and Bloodbolt got bored with the brawl and, after making sure Skell's dad didn't have any more announcements, slipped away, Skell intending to get changed into his normal garb and go for a flight.

Stormburner grumbled and Skyler sighed. She nodded to her dragon. She sat down sidesaddle. Her dragon took to the skies to fly. She wrapped a heavy cloak around herself.

Sure enough, soon Skyler found herself joined by Skell. "Heya, Skyler. You sneak away, too?" he asked with a small grin, not letting that announcement earlier affect his relationship with his bride-to-be.

Skyler looked over to Skell smiling. "Yeah just needed to get in some air." She said looking back to the night sky. She readjusted herself so she sat more comfortably. Her fur coat moved with her. "So why did you have to sneak away?" Skyler asked him trying not to think about the announcement.

"Well, it was either that or get pulled into the massive drunken free-for-all brawl again. Sure, it was fun at first, but you can only fight for so long before you get bored again. Fortunately, they were too busy pummeling each other to notice me leaving," was the cheerful reply; apparently his tribe was a rowdy bunch.

Skyler laughed, "Yeah, that sounds like fun though I'm not sure I could fight so well in this dress." She said shyly opening her coat to show it to him.
