I abandon my starter in every pokemon game from lvl 20-30? Because I hate Mono types. I know most starters get a second type, but it's not common that the second type actually helps. This time around, I abandoned Fennekin. Yes, Fennekin. Fennekin was replaced with an Infernape. heart
Actually, I have 3 mono-types on my team, but one is a Sylveon, the other is Shiny, and the third... I should get rid of the third.

Fenniken is the first starter type I've abandoned.
Its movepool just sucks, and doesn't get better for a long while.
I usually at least evolve them. I switch my team around sooo much as I'm playing through, though, so I ditch a lot of stuff once it's fully evolved so I can try playing with other stuff instead. I seriously experiment with so many Pokemon that it only took me like a day and a half to get my shiny charm (from when I decided I wanted it to when I actually got it) because I already had so much crap in my Pokedex XD

My friend uses a Delphox against me in battles, and it's OKAY, but I always win. heart What's your team ? Mine is :: Shiny Umbreon Sylveon Dedenne Meowstic (That I don't want any more it always loses) Infernape Yveltal, but this is an interchangeable spot because I don't like using legendaries.

I find it strange....though, My starter never leaves my team. In my head, it is an unwritten rule that must be abided.....no matter if they have crap stats.
