Gossamer was on the windowsill infront of me as I stared out the window with a dreamy smile. I was looking out over the landscape surrounding the castle. The crow was nuzzling my cheek and I was petting him gently.
I turned when I heard footsteps, and I smiled bigger when I found it was him. I watched with a big blush across my face, as he kissed my hand before standing next to me.
I wanted to say something but as filled with joy and love I was, I was also at a loss for words. What could I say? There was nothing words could express at this moment!
After staring at him for a long moment I hugged him. It was a passionate, yet innocent hug, full of joy and love. As I embraced him, I nuzzled his shoulder, and he felt my hand slide his down to my tummy... He felt something there, a tiny pulsing spark of life within...

She was lost in an intense moment of joy! James stared into her eyes when she placed his hand on her thin abdomen. His heart skipped a beat as he felt a warm and magical energy pulse from inside of her womb. She was...his wife was... "You're pregnant..." he cooed staring into her eyes full of love. His Familiar perked up and watched with surprise. So James would be having an heir? Looking at Gossimer she smiled at the crow then at Tarana. She knew the joys of becoming a parent. Rubellah would protect the life within her. As James held his wife in his arms he kissed her lips tenderly and smiled. "This is wonderful news. How long have you known this?" he asked his hand still resting upon her belly.

I smiled as I looked deep into his eyes, before I rested my head on his shoulder; closing my eyes and holding him close.
Well, I've been feeling sort of strange lately, and I've been keeping a careful watch on my biology. Though, it was this morning when their life got strong enough to detect. I said happily.
Gossamer hopped up and down excitedly upon my sharing of the news, though he was feeling a little sad; he probably would never had little hatchlings of his own. Sensing this I reached out an arm and he flew to me, and I hugged the bird gently like a teddy before letting go. He settled upon my shoulder and ruffled his feathers.

" Thisss isss a mossst joyousss day!" hissed Rhemka, " Bearing life isss a wonderful thing. I cannot wait to sssee the darling heirsss you two will bear to thisss world." James smiled at his wife, he was going to be a father! That was exciting. Soon breakfast was served at the table and he sat side by side with her. "Have you had any sickness at all? Or are you using your magic to keep it at bay?" he asked happily. She had powerful magic, so maybe she wouldn't have to deal with morning sickness? "How about a small walk in the garden after breakfast my Dear?" As he watched his familiar slowly eat the small portion of food he had set out for her, he wondered what it would be like, dealing with the pregnancy then holding a child after it all? Eventually everyone in the Queendom would find out.

Gossamer kawed. Yes, indeed! I will love to see the cute little younglings!
I meanwhile smiled sweetly at him as the food was served. Nope. At least, I haven't thought I've been using magic to keep it at bay... Though, some things are passive. I said with a smile.
Gossamer was given a small chunk of meat, some nuts, and a bright red cherry for his meal, which he pecked apart and ate happily.

James chuckled happily at Gossimer's comment. "Yes, I can't wait either. I'm sure you'll have a lot of little children riding on your back when they're old enough to." he smiled blushing shyly. "Just the thought of having a child is wonderful. Enough of my blabbing you need to eat! After all you're eating for two Honey!" he joked giving her a wink. His familiar hissed happily and laid next to the plate, now full, getting read to digest and sleep. Once breakfast was finished a messanger stormed into the throne room. "What is it?" James asked getting off his throne to meet the man. "S-Sire! Queen Tarana's brothers have arrived! T-They've come to wish you a happy marriage!" the man studdered happily so caught up in the excitement.

Gossamer kawwed in laughter. I just hope they don't hang on too hard on my neck. Kinda need to breathe to fly!
I giggled and ate my fill, of the yummy breakfast... as always.
Meanwhile, shortly after the messenger announced the arrival of my brothers, I heard an loud explosion, followed by deep, male, maniacal laughter.
I laughed and shot to my feet.
Gerald still knows how to make an entrance! I said, before running off with a big smile on my face towards the sound of the boom...
I was first greeted by the sight of a taller, leaner man with shortish brown hair that had been all flopped to one side of his head. He wore a long white alchemist's coat, strong looking black boots and gloves, as well as a pair of protective goggles. He had a quite noticeable amount of five o'clock shadow. He looked to be about his late 40's as well.
Seeing me he smiled and pulled up the goggles and spread his arms.
Sissy! Give me a Hug!
I just stood there and smiled... he was holing a glass tube full of what appeared to be highly corrosive acid, judging from the way it splashed, bubbled, and hissed on the floor.
He looked at it, looked to me, and he grinned, before pulling out a cork and plugging up the vial before stuffing it into his pocket. We both started laughing as I stepped forward to hug him. (stepping around the acid puddle of course.
I then heard the roar of a lion, and the hooting of a monkey...
It wasn't long before around the corner loped Noel, Gerald's spider monkey Familiar. It looked like he had a tuft of golden lion's fur in his tail, before the monkey, laughing, started easily scaling a wall.
Those two never stop tormenting eachother, do they?
Nope. Not one bit.

A large golden furred lion, with a large wound like scar over his left, closed, eye came running in after the Spider Monkey. " I told you to stop pulling my hair out for your amusement!! Monkey! So help me I'll make you a meal yet!" it roared more in annoyance than anything else. The Lion appeared somewhat old, but still powerful. Long polished black claws, sun golden fur that was well groomed, and a dark green cloak draped down it's body and gently tied around it's neck. In stepped another man in his 40's appearing Regal and dressed in a fine buttoned dark blue coat, with silk pants to match. A silver half-cape draped down his left shoulder and fell to his knee. He wore fancy white gloves and eloquent black boots. A greyish black mustached curled into a tender and loving smile. His hair was short and greyish black as well. " Gerald it seems to go to hugging her first! " he happily mused as he walked over to Tarana and ran a gloved hand through his mustache. " Dear Sister, how do you fair? The moment we both heard you had returned, we had to see for ourselves!" he stated calmly. Edwin was more of a nobleman, but his face softened as he pulled his sister into a compassionate hug. " Welcome back. I missed you greatly." he said to her joy in his voice. James stared at them all when the lion caught his eyes. It's feline face smiled a bit as it stared at him.

Noel just hung upside down from a lamp, chuckling. You'll have to catch me first, you overgrown housecat!
Well, of course! I'm surprised it took you so long! Gerald said, grinning at his brother.
I've missed you two as well! It's been so long I didn't know if I outlived you two!
It's only been about 20 years. Said Gerald. And look at you! You haven't aged a day!
Yeah, the Roses did that. I said with a chuckle. Brothers, meet James. My husband. I turned and gestured to him.
Gerald looked over at James and looked him over, stroking his stubbled chin.
Meanwhile, Noel sung by... while getting pecked at by Gossamer. Give me back my feathers!

James blushed shyly as he slowly stood up. Walking over he bowed before the two men. "It's a p-pleasure to meet you both." he said. Edwin frowned a bit. " He's as timid as a mouse. Hmmm...yet there is a kindness I sense about him." Edwin pondered and then looked over at his sister. A deep happiness sparkled in her eyes. She was truly happy, even Gerald could probably tell that as well. " He makes you happy...that's good. So where did he come from? This man doesn't appear to be a citizen? Then again it's been twenty years. I'm stuck in that courtroom too long sometimes!" Edwin was a King yes, but also an official Judge in a courthouse. He was always so busy with running his Kingdom and keeping the law that time seemed to pass him by. Seeing him here was even a miracle in it's own. Zyg, the Lion, shook his head. One day that silly Monkey would get himself killed. Rhemka, the snake slithered over and hissed. She was curious about this Lion, the snake had never seen one before. Zyg looked down at the small gardener snake and let out a gentle growl. " It is a pleasure little one. Is there something you need?" he asked. " Nothing...jussst thought I'd sssay hello. I have never ssseen a Lion before." she casually hissed. Both of them ignoring the monkey and Gossamer. Rhemka knew the beautiful crow was no push-over.
