Midori gave a bit of a devious grin, "You might not be allowed to read them but I know someone who is allowed to read them, that's my father. I think I might sneak into his room and snag some of his books to check them out." Now that he was made aware of something so interesting and forbidden it just made him want to learn that much more about it. He highly doubted his father would even realize that one of his many books was missing either, not when he spent a portion of his time snoozing away in his office. This really was perfect he thought to himself, taking back the plastic wrapped book so that he could tuck it away on the shelf once more.

"If it wasn't for the old hag that seems to run this place watching me like a hawk I'd try to buy some of these books for myself. I know a couple of the cashiers here are kind of oblivious and would likely let me. Ah well, I am sure my father has more then enough of them." He was more then certain that he had a lot of books by the one called Deep Winter as well. At least with a name like that it made it all that much easier to find the books he wanted. Not like the man was trying to be subtle with a name like that.

As the other boy counted out the books his father had written, ten of them it seemed, he laughed, "He does seem good at what he does, huh?" He murmured, pulling out a few of the other books to look at the covers, all of them seeming to containing the same cast of characters looking attractive whilst making googly eyes at each other, "If you want I can always sneak one of my father's books along when I come visit to see those cats you were talking about." He offered, knowing full well that Zavier seemed the goody-goddy sort but if anyone could 'fix' that it would be a witch like Midori.
