 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
((Sorry if you're confused PyroChill *scratches back of head**, i went a little NPC heavy, much more than usual D smile )
Ruby was right, but so was Kyne, there was some things gone unanswered, but Laxion thinks he has it all plotted out, roughly. As the magical force field around them vanished with the magi, the snow began falling again but steering clear of Kyne and his warmth. Scratching the back of his head Laxion thought up of a clear way of explaining what he thought. "Well..." he began. "I don't know if you know... but that old man we just confronted was Elloittis Magus'bane, Grand Mage and Grandmaster of the Arcaz Sovereignty, questioning him means questioning the blue guild and the entirety of the Guildeam. I guess the only reason he got involved was because Lilly plunged the entire city into an eternal winter, " he glanced up at some of the arcane crystals that hover silently above buildings and said "I bet the cold is already affecting the power in the city. So, they want Lilly so they can get her to stop the winter, they probably want to contain her powers too... considering its the city of research. And the reason they got rid of Lottie was because she was causing a distraction, but he began talking about emotional distress affecting Lilly..." he paused for thought, why on Magic Earth would- "Ruby!" he suddenly thought. "Do you remember, towards the end of the show, before Lilly cast all the ice everywhere. Her chest, it was glowing, like yours did the other night?" Laxion then gave Kyne only a moment to feel further confused, btu Laxion revealed "It's a long story, but if Lilly has similar powers to Ruby then we can begin to understand why the sovereignty want Lilly contained. They're scared.

Ruby
Kyne didn't take his cape so she decided to hand onto it a little while longer. Besides, the barrier has diminished and it could be the only material from keeping them from freezing to death. The snow seemed to avoid the burly red head as he ignited a cigarette with easily. The temperature around him will keep the cancer stick burning until the cold air sucked its heat dry. Within the last few minutes, Ruby could tell that the atmosphere around them had decreased. The albino strolled over to her companion and held out the cloth to him. They could share it for the time being. Laxion explained to the confused Kyne whom the old professor was and the changed the subject to a more grim topic.
She felt in the pit of her gut that he was going to eventually reveal the jewel's nature. Sighingly loudly and placing her head down, she asked, "What will they do with her then? I figured we were alike right when I saw that glow escaping from her chest. Maybe the reason Magus'bane took Lottie is because she possesses a jewel as well? Laxion, those Magis are not the people history taught us to look up to. Their monsters, but I understand why their scared. If Lilly's jewel can cause, then what can mine do? However, the Magi's methods are completely unorthodox." Ruby was contemplating whats right and wrong, and she started to fear greatly for the two sister's safety.

The cherry of the cigarrete grew bright red. So this girl, Ruby was it, is in danger as well when the blue guild finds out what she is truly capable of. Time is running out for the singer girl, and the girl that was just taken is probably already dead. Kyne exhales the smoke skyward, which didn't show much since every breath looked like smoke in the extreme cold weather. What is your connection to all this... Laxion. His eyes drift over from the girl to the man. The snow began to die down. The temperature was not getting hot, but the snow was already beginning to melt. Surely the girl must be controlling her emotions and calming the frost sideffect. Kyne takes another pull of the natural tobacco.

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
Ruby began to piece more of it together, voicing her own opinion o the matter and for the most part she was correct. And then Kyne began to udnerstand it, piecing it together his own way my process of elimination. Laxion then began to wonder what Kyne's background was, investigator? At his first comment, LAxion nodded and said "unfortunately so..." and then he went on to suggest she could be dead, but he cringed at the thought.
At the mention of Laxion's connection, he raised a brow "apart from deciding to help out of my own good intentions?" he was trying not to be sarcastic. "I made an oath as a soldier of Asmodius, it's my duty at least to serve. And since saving the Fountain of Immortality with Ruby here, i've wanted to uphold that oath". Laxion finished half forgettign what he was trying to explain before and shook his head, narrowed his brows and remembers. "-anyway, what i was trying to say, Kyne, they said they took Lottie tot he syndicate right? At Skyfall?" he then faced Ruby and said "Lucas must be there! Where else could he be? He'll be able to help us free Lottie and find Lilly in the mountains!"
It was a failproof plan! Surely! "And- and, you still have that scroll that Alexis had at Christmas right? The portal scroll she never used cus we had the rings! We can get it from our apartment and all of us can just take a portal to Skyfall!".

Ruby
Ruby gave Kyne a concerned yet aggravated stare when he connected her situation to Lilly's current agenda. She knew the could hard reality, but did have to voice it so bluntly when he can't even image the burden they had to bare. Her chest became substantial and he placed her pale hand over the spot where the pain surged. The cape slipped from her hands and feel to the ground in a pile of red fur lined fabric. The most ironic part was that the sometimes optimists Laxion agreed with Kyne's guarantee of the sister's demise. Would the albino had to become that unfortunate as well if her true nature was exposed?
Her companion stated how he must uphold the law do to his military status, yet he kind of contradicted that thought when the two ran away. However, his intention as loyal as they may seem were blinding him from the ambush they were walking into. Lucas would help them, wouldn't he? After the farce Entei displayed Ruby wasn't sure she could trust any sovereign of high standards. Would the light wielding male really accept her knowing that she was the white jewel in disguise. He continued to explain there mode of transportation and the girl reluctantly pulled out the scroll he had mentioned. Closing her eyes and held it out to him solemnly and said, "I hope this is the right choice. Let's not waste anymore time here. Are you to ready to leave?"

Soldier of misfortune. Your duty lays in protecting this girl in her long fate of trials. Very well, I will assist you both. This appears to be worthy of my time. With a final drag of his smoke, the white paper bursts into a small ball of flame into ash. Kyne then yanks his cloak off the floor with a stern look at Ruby. It may not be something you want to hear but it is better to brace yourself for the worst. If it can be prevented, than all the better. He shakes off the grass and wet dirt from the fur before throwing it over his shoulders.Laxion had history with this girl. With a few words, he had explained a quest finished that tied them to the guilds more intimately. Who where they talking about, this Lucas. How long is this list of people in peril? This better be worth my weight in karma credit. Kyne's eyes narrow as he closely observes the exchange between Ruby and Laxion. He didn't have time to be suspicious, but curious. Was this truly a fateful encounter, and if so, it was a matter of time before his notorious brother became involved.

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
Kyne, at first glance was the sort of man that Laxion thought might make a spot of trouble, but after coming to know him somewhat better Laxion found his is a man of standers, of loyalty. His approval of joining them on this quest reassured him not all people in the world will show prejudice and be selfish. He wasn't even swayed by the mention of the jewel. Then Ruby pulled out her scroll, she must have always kept it on close possession since the passing of Alexis.
He knodded to Kyne, giving a short smile of thanks before nodding next to Ruby "Do it" he said. Looking around he was ready to say goodbye to the now frozen city, although the snow had subsided the mist still lingered, and the ice and frost that covered everything seemed to gain a less polished look, and a more hazy, rough texture to it, like whatever life it had became dry and dead. He couldn't help but comment "looks like the ice is dormant now..." as Ruby got the scroll ready. Crossing his arms he looked to kyne, and then to Ruby as he said "Ask it for a passage to Skyfall", his tone was informative "if you ask for a portal they tend to just teleport you there, we won't be able to follow"
((OoC - Tuna, i'll let you RP Laxion into the portal and things, once you and Pyro *waves* have posted, i'll set us up in Skyfall with the introductory post smile ))

Ruby
The red headed muscle male was austere and told her exactly what she needed to hear. There was still a slim chance to save the two sisters from their possible fate. Ruby watched as he lifted his now dirtied clothing off the ground and then turned to Laxion. Her breath still visibly in the chilled air, however, the temperature is more stable and not so freezing. Life could still become unsustainable for this land if this manufactured eternal winter continues rapidly. Kyne was now accepted into their duo now a trio again by his apparently humble assistance.
Laxion told the albino to active the portal and stepping forward she did so. Once again, hesitantly she unraveled the scroll and said, "We ask for passage to...Skyfall." The pause in the middle was do to her skeptical thoughts, but she had to trust her partner. The scroll floated out of her hands and torn a rift between where they are now and their desire location. Unlike more of the portals, this wasn't a flask display of magic but a discreet way to transport without anyone's consent. She jumped through without a word and Laxion followed suit. Would Kyne do the same or at the last minute make a wiser decision? [Exit]

PyroChill Light emitted from the rolled parchment in a flash. With the loud snap of expanding air around the sudden portal, it resembled thunder all together. The other two must have been expecting it because they didn't even flinch while Kyne's eye pupils panic. His vision blinds to white. Before his vision could return, the other two had stepped into a portal. Over his ringing ears, Kyne still heard what Ruby had to say. After a moment every one else had entered and disappeared, Kyne jumps into the portal head first, not knowing what to expect. His stomach was tossed and turned inside out while his head tickled his lower spine. By the time he had been spit out of the portal to the cold stone floor, Kyne was too dizzy to pick himself up off his face. He just lay there foor a bit as the world wobbled beneath him.
