TIME ROUGES
What is a "Time Rouge"?
A Time Rogue is a warrior that has either:
a.) Defected from Soul Society
b.] Been recruited/transformed by a Time Rogue
These beings are as their title says, time manipulators. They use forces that are related with the Soul King's abilities to manipulate space, time, and even a life. The origin is from the King's blood.
What does that power over time mean?
The Time Rogues each represent a force that is related with time and death. Like the Espada, there are ten: Loneliness, Old Age, Sacrifice, Nihilism, Despair, Destruction, Intoxication, Madness, Greed, and Rage.
The aspects of death/time each are embodied inside the Time Rogue. They use their powers to deprive their victims and make them feel their aspect. These powers come from within rather than a blade like the Arrancar and Shinigami. This is called the Jikan. The Jikan is different for each Rouge. It can take the form of something special to the individual. The Rouges are able to transport through dimensional loops as well. They are able to generate these portals because of the marking they receive from their leader.
What does the mark mean?
The mark is of an hourglass that shows the union of their body and the power over Time. Each Rogue has this on their body. This mark allows them to travel between dimensions, use their death abilities, and find the entrance into Euthoria: their secret world.
Is there a ranking system to the Rogues?
Obviously, the leader is the most powerful. She is the only one who can access the Hour Glass and open the trans-dimensional loop. The other Rogues are merely the guard. They protect and carry out the orders given. They also are needed to access the Hour Glass as well but no like the leader. Each one is like a key, requiring them to all be present when activation begins.
What's the Hour Glass?
The Hour Glass is the key to the trans-dimensional vortex. It is located deep within Euthoria, known only by the Rogues. The Hour Glass requires seven sacrifices, each representing the seven deadly sins. The blood of each sacrifice is poured inside the sand, and when the seventh is added, the powers of the Rogues are strengthened ten fold giving then their "Pure State". They gain access to the Sands from the Hourglass.
What is "The Sands" & the "Pure State"
It's the Bankai of the Rogues basically. The Sand is a very powerful spiritual force that flows through the Rogue's body. The Sand can turn a victim into Ash upon touching them. This was the fundamental reason why Soul Society was destroyed during the Ash War. This power is also very damaging to the Rogue. If over used, the skin will begin to turn into stone and they will turn to ash themselves.
The "Pure State" is when the Rouges have access to the Sands. Their aspect of death becomes them in a sense. Each Pure State is different for the ten Rouges. This is when their power is fully tapped.
