I'm thinking of a random plot in my spare time, revolving around random number assignments.
Basically, there are thirty people.
They're all assigned numbers from one to thirty and sent to duke it out'n what not, based on numbers.
All odd numbers are male, all evens are female.
Prime numbers have an advantage against evens, evens have an advantage against multiples of three, multiples of three have an advantage against multiples of five, fives have an advantage against multiples of eleven, multiples of eleven have advantages against multiples of thirteen, thirteens against primes, and multiples of seven kick everybody's a**.
And they can group together so that their numbers add.
Beyond that, I 'unno. Though I've already decided that six is a manipulative a*****e.

Why don't you use us as a basis for the characters? I'm sure there are 30 people in the guild you could use, at least as a starting point for characters.

Wow, that actually sounds really cool.
Hmm...what about character that has really bad luck? Sort of like they're jinxed. I guess it could be person number 13... just that they're a real klutz. Do you remember Eugene from Hey Arnold?

Someone who's really unlucky, sour as hell about it, but is nice to a point where he's willing to incur yet more terrible things against himself for other peeps?

Make a character who cannot help but be loved by everybody he encounter; with the exception of one other individual (who cannot explain why he hate him so much) and squirrels?
