It's The World Ends With You.
It was a game that came out around the time the DS lite did and utilized both the touch screen and the arrow-keys for the fighting system.

But nobody has nay thoughts on this???
That's a litle depressing

Personally, I think they're doing it to reach a wider audience and to make money; but if they really are that concerned about money, they could release a special edition 3DS to go with the game.
I would totally just spend some of my college savings on it.
But that's just me.

But them trying to reach a wider audience makes more sense. It could be that the app is just testing the water for whats to come, because I remember the game initially received a lot of heat that prevented it from becoming a "mainstream" game; thus preventing the release of a sequel sooner.

(I also recall a rumour that Square Enix announcing that they wouldn't make non-mainstream games when they changed presidents. But here they are, not only rereleasing a non-mainstream game but also hinting at a sequel.)

The "sequel" already came out, but it wasn't so much a sequel as it was a port to smart phones... Sadly...

I would love to play a sequel to Twewy... I miss that game, my brother got it for my for my birthday a while back, but I can't for the life of me find it. ;-; if only I had a smart phone to play it with. D;
