After heading in the direction of her homeland for about 500 meters so, Eve cut back through the forest for the tavern. She had never actually been inside before but she had passed it plenty of times with practically growing up here. Her chest was no longer heavy feeling as it was when saying goodbye to Elvira earlier. It didn't take long for her to arrive at her destination. It was sometime: the early afternoon still. When she went inside she kept her cowl low over her face to cast it in shadows. She went to a take in the far Conner that was coincidently open. The few puerile who were in there watched her uneasily. Her friends final words rung in her ears.
"How rude. Suppose it can't be helped."
When a young woman came to get her she realized that the girl was rather nervous. Eve felt a little bad and took pity on the young bar wench. Looking up so her face could be seen clearly even in the shadows she let her full Irish accent and charm.
"Tis alright lassy. I shant harm ya. I'm just thirst'ay. Woulj'a mind bringing me a cup of warm blud? I rathuh dislike drinking from theh livin'."
The girl smiled and left not looking do scared anymore. She could only imagine what the poor lass has seen being employed here. A couple minutes later the girl returned with a beer mug full of blood for Eve. Handing over the money for the drink there was extra for the girl. At first she went to say something in protest but Eve shook her head before a word escaped then winked. It was a rather large amount for a tip. Eve felt bad for the girl though. When she left was when Eve finally room a drink of the blood. It felt good, sweet on her lips. She hasn't fed right since leaving her home so this was very much needed to recuperate.

About a hour later Danielle showed up at the tavern hoping that Eve was still there and not sleeping. Or getting into mischief. Heavens knows that she used to love doing that when visiting these lands. When she walked in she found her sitting in a corner drinking all too much Lord Gabriel. Just with her hood low trying to hide her face. Shaking her head she walked up and Eve looked at her she approached. Relief washed over the woman. It was not alcohol. Just blood.
"You were right, sweetie. He wrote back immediately. Here you are."
Handing over the letter Eve held it for a minute then laid it down taking a deep breath. She would read it later tonight. If she did so now it would only make it harder not to go see him right now. She motioned for the woman to sit and she did. It was a surreal feeling sitting with Danielle.
"M'lady. Why do you not read it now? And why must you remain in hiding now that you've returned here? I do not understand this."
"Oh Danielle. I would run to his side this instant if I read it. And I still have much to do before I can face him again. So much has changed in these past 500 years that Im afraid I cannot see Gabirel just yet. Im going to Nai-rah with Elvira to make sure she is ok. When I return, then I will see him. He knows I'm alive and that my heart is still with him. For now that will have to be enough. And maybe it will kick start his brain so he acts like the leader he is meant to be and not the completely loser I have heard he has turned into."
"Eve! How dare you speak so ill of-"
"No. I know how it sounds. That I am being cruel and insensitive towards him. I understand why he has fallen to such depths. I blame myself for the condition he is in now. Even so, duty comes first. He never should have become such filth. It disgusts and angers me that he has allowed himself to live this way.... because of me."
Danielle opened her mouth to defend her Lord, but the pained expression on Eve's face stopped her. She really did feel responsible for how Gabriel has turned out to be. It was obvious to Danielle. She still loved the man deeply so it was only natural that she feel thus.
"So what are you going to do about it then, lady Eve?"
"What I always have. I'm going to love him through it."

Danielle couldn't help but smile. The once girl she looked after had indeed grown into a fine young woman. And she knew in that moment that she no longer had to worry about her dear Lord, Gabriel. Everything was going to be alright now. Her heart swelled with pride as she got up from the table.
"It's high time I return to the castle, dear. I hope everything works according to your designs. Travel safe, princess."
Eve smiled, genuinely smiled for the first time in many, many decades. Her heart was full of emotion everywhere she went in this land. She loved so many people here. Like Danielle. And she hadn't even known the depth of her adoration for the old woman until returning to the castle and sitting with her to talk. Nodding her head in understanding, Eve couldn't bring herself to say anything at the moment for fear of crying. When the woman was gone she stared at the letter and ran her finger of the paper, over ribbon, slowly, and methodically. The young woman came to inquire if everything was alright and soon left with the final payment of the blood. Finishing the glass Eve went to find and pay for a room. Once inside she threw off her cloak, boots, and most of her clothes until she was laying in her under garments on the bed. Sliding the ribbon off and opening the letter she took a deep breath before reading it.
'Eve, I can't believe you are alive. I must see you. Where are you? Have you come to Triali? I will give the letter to Ulrik and see what he says, if he agrees to go save your sister I will send word to you. I am sorry for any loses you have had in your family. We are here for you. We all miss you very much. I hope you do return, my heart longs for you... Please be careful.
I Love You, Gabriel'
Tears instantly sprung to her eyes and her heart felt like it was going to break. She wanted so badly to return to him now. But she had to stick to her plan. She just had to.
'Why didn't he just come after me if he loves me this much....'
"Oh Gabriel...."
Quietly, she cried herself nearly to sleep like so many nights before. Only this night it was not the same pain she had felt. This was something new entirely. The weariness was too much to ward off and soon she slept in a fitful sleep. Full of dark memories, screaming, blood covering the land, a laughter that haunted her every moment. And of looking across a cliff at a family. A family made of herself, Gabriel, and a child who stared knowingly back at her.

Waking with a jump Eve looked around the room frantically. It took her a minute to remember where she was and the relief washed over her like a tidal wave and she sunk back into the bed dragging an arm over her eyes. She body shivered from the nightmare. After a while she drug herself up and went to stand by the window enjoying some of the last bit of sunlight. Nightfall would be here in a few hours. Her arms were crossed in front of her add get hands ran up and down her arm trying to ward off the goosebumps as she stared outside. She had slept for hours. The longest since leaving her land. Yet her body still felt weary. It was odd to stay put for so long now. So long had she been running, hiding, just trying to stay alive. Her mother's trackers always on her heels. Once she got close to here, closer to Ulrik, they vanished. No one wanted to come near his lands as the laws he set were broken with pride now. Angered flared and she knew our was time to get out of the room. Dressing once more she puked the hood low over her eyes. The feeling that she was being watched unnerved her. She needed to clear her head. Securing the room, Eve left.

The Lord of Triali approached the Tavern. He was hungry and his mind was swirling. Gabriel had reached the door of the Tavern and entered it. When he opened the door, he saw quite a few people there. Some chatting, some drinking, some just eating. It was a nice site, to see his people happy. His eyes looked around the room, finally his eyes fell on a group of humans. With a gentle smile, he approached the table full of human women. Guess this will have to do. . . he thought. "Good evening, ladies." He smiled and leaned on the table. "Would any of you be so kind and assist me for a moment?" A perky little brunette volunteered, he knew her thoughts. But what she thought he was in for, wasn't it. Gabriel led the girl to the rooms that were attached to the Tavern. Like a small inn. Once inside, he held her against the wall. He smirked at the little brunette, he could feel her heart racing. His hand traced down her shoulder to her wrist, gently he raised her wrist up to his mouth. Then quickly, he fed on her. As he drank her blood he held her close, he could feel her grip tighten around his body. Once satisfied, he released her wrist, licked the wound to heal it, and sent her on her way. Not frightened, also forgetting what had happened due to a little trick that Ulrik had taught him. . .
Gabriel cleaned himself up and headed back out to the Tavern. He made his way to the bar and sat down. He waited a few moments and Sydney, one of the Tavern's human workers, approached him. "Hello, Lord Gabriel. What can I get you this time?" Sydney asked with a smile. "Hm, how about a little bit of white wine for tonight?" he replied. "That is definitely a change for you, you look well." she smiled then went to fetch him the wine. When she returned with a wine glass full of white wine, he smiled. "Yes, thank you Sydney. I feel much better now. A lot is happening now, and I feel things are changing for the better." Sydney smiled and left Gabriel to drink his wine in peace. His mind swirled around him. Eve. The thought of her swirled around him. For 500 years he thought she was dead, but she has been alive all this time? and is just now sending him a letter? Gabriel knew he should be mad at her, but just couldn't bring himself to be. Her absence wrecked him. It turned him into a person that he was even scared of, humans were food and he was drunk most of the time. He felt terrible. His humanity had been shut off, which his brother and sister do not know. Gabriel had shut his own humanity off, so that he could not feel the pain of Eve's absence. Which caused him to spiral into the monster he was becoming. When he got the letter from Eve, his humanity came back to him. He had been lost for so long, honestly, he felt better now. He just hoped that Eve came to see him very soon. Gabriel missed her so much. . .

Returning from the graveyard Eve felt tired again. She had slept most of the day away but going to the memorial and spilling out her heart, her fears, her dreams, to a mother she had never really gotten to know of the love of her life. When she got close her senses started prickling. Something was off. Instantly she was on her guard pulling the cowl low over her face so that she could not be recognized. When she got to the door she froze. Within she could hear the voice that followed her in her dreams. Gabriel was here. s**t! How could she have been so clumsy? Still, she could get inside and to her room without being seen. She just had to keep he cowl low to cover her face. The smell of soil and the dankness of the graveyard should be strong enough to mask her scent for now. Taking a deep breath she went inside scanning the room quickly. Bar. Good. His back was to her. She could cross the room easily. Walking across she got to the entrance of the hallway where the rooms where and was stopped by the girl who had tended to her that morning.
"Mi'lady! Is everything alright? You look.... ghostly. Even for a vampyre."
Eve smiled and nodded. She dared not speak right now. The weariness was worse now than when she had arrived earlier.
"I'll get you something to drink. Perhaps that will help lift your spirits. No worries. I will bring it to your room. I remember the way you like it. Go. Rest yourself."
With another smile she was glad the girl understood that she did not want to speak. She went down the corridor, up to her room and locked the door behind her. Instantly she began shaking. That was Gabriel down there. GABRIEL! And what was she doing? Hiding like a child. She should just go down there and tell him that she was here. That she still loved him. Nut that she had to take care of things first....
No. You're right. That small voice that listens to crazy girl rable jable won out again. As much as she wanted to see him she had to wait. Elvira needed her tomorrow. Besides, was she really ready to face him just yet? With what she had to tell him about that day.... One more day wouldn't hurt. She would be back in no time compared to how long she had been away.
The bar maid returned to the bar to get the blood so it could warm up some. With how out of sorts the woman looked coming in tonight she wondered if she should put in any brandy in the blood give it a little kick. She whispered among the other maids.
"I know. She looked terrible close up. Like death was at her door step."
"Honey. She's a vampyre. Death sleeps in the same bed as her.?"

Elijah had arrived just as eve had gone upstairs. He walked into the tavern and immedietly smelled a scent he hadnt smelled in a long while but couldnt put his finger on it. He heard sydney yell "Elijah over here your brother isnt getting wasted at my bar this night" she said giggleing as he walked up and orded his usual as well. "You owe branwen an apology brother" he said receiving the deink and putting a bag of coons on the bar saying " and could you pack us a small amount of that delicious food yoi make and maybe a bottle of your fi est whiskey for the road" he said smiling at sydney. Elijah took a sip of his spiced rum "listen gabrial i did not mean to be so rude about eve, you know i love her like a sister but i am still a little upset at how she left and ruined a brother i looked up too" he said seeing gabrial about to yell at him but he held his hand up and said " please let me dinish before you begin yelling" he said taking another sip. "Gabrial ever since i was turned i had always been trained, taight, and protected by you and elvira, it is because of that love i was able to find my place as your advisor and be able to help you and elvira as best i can" he took a deep breath and continued on, "but when elvira left i saw you drink your life away, you secluded yourself from the world, refused to want to lead our people, for hells sake gabrial you began feeding on women almost nightly!" He said somewhat exasperated. He sighed and said " i cant lose you brother, we almost lost elvira when her inprinted husband died, you know i am not a great person to be in the lime light, i dont handle attention well, but you can, you are triali's gem, its beautiful ruler and if you are true to want to reignite your relationship with eve i will support you, but please brother when you and eve talk please get answers from her, not for you or me or elvira but for the family i k ow you want us all to be, there cannot be any secrets, even on your end gabrial she has to know everything just like you have to know everything" he said with eyes that only his lover and siblings had ever saw, eyes begging to be listened to.

She looked terrible close up. Like death was at her door step." "Honey. She's a vampyre. Death sleeps in the same bed as her.?" Gabriel was drinking his wine peacefully, but a scent caught him in mid-thought. It was odd, but familiar all together. He turned quickly and searched for the scent, before he knew it the scent was gone. Hmm. . . he thought. That was when he heard Sydney call to the door. It was Elijah, his brother. When Sydney told Elijah that he wasn't getting wasted tonight, he glared playfully at her. "Thank you, Sydney. The world needed to know," he chuckled and sipped his wine. Then Elijah voice caught up to him.
"You owe Branwen an apology brother" Elijah told Gabriel, he sighed. "and could you pack us a small amount of that delicious food you make and maybe a bottle of your finest whiskey for the road." That was toward Sydney. Then Elijah attention was back to Gabriel. "Listen Gabriel, I did not mean to be so rude about Eve, you know I love her like a sister. But I am still a little upset at how she left and ruined a brother I looked up too..." Gabriel wanted to protest, but Elijah continued. "Please let me finish before you begin yelling. Gabriel ever since I was turned I had always been trained, taught, and protected by you and Elvira, it is because of that love I was able to find my place as your advisor and be able to help you and Elvira as best i can..." he took a deep breath and continued on, "but when Elvira left, I saw you drink your life away, you secluded yourself from the world, refused to want to lead our people, for hells sake Gabriel you began feeding on women almost nightly!" Before Gabriel began to speak, he took another sip of his wine, finishing it off. Sydney brought him half a glass this time. "Thank you, Sydney." He gasped the glass, but did not drink instead he looked at his brother. "I know I owe Branwen an apology. Eve is a very touchy subject for me. I wasn't trying to be rude, brother. But it just seemed to happen that way." Gabriel lifted the glass of wine in the air, just below chin level and moved it around to see the wine move. "The person I was, is no longer here, Elijah. I can promise that. . .I had just my humanity off, so that I couldn't feel the pain. But it started to seep through, so the drinking began. I did try to hold back once, but I was weak, Elijah. Eve has been the only woman to ever make me weak. . . But I will get answers from her and I shall confess my sins to her. She may be angry at me for feeding the way I did, but I never slept with any of them. I couldn't bring myself to do it. It never felt right." Then he took a sip of his wine. "Things will be different Elijah, I will do my best. Even if Eve doesn't come back to me, at least I will know she is alive and maybe there will be hope for us." Gabriel set the glass back on to counter and then turned to face Elijah. He placed a hand on Elijah's neck, in a brotherly fashion, and looked into his eyes. "I promise, Elijah and I will be there for Elvira too."

"I know, but still... "
The girl held the bottle of brandy in thought. She looked to Sydney who just shrugged. None of them knew who the woman was so they couldn't judge as to how well she would take to the spike blood. Finally deciding against it she made her way towards the rooms.
As the bar wench was coming up to her door Eve opened it up to head out surprising both of them. The poor girl nearly spilt the blood but Eve grabbed her hand to help her steady and smiled apologeticly.
"I'm so sorry miss, I-"
"My fault. No harm no fowl. Thank you. Would you mind doing me one more favor? Can you see to it that no one goings into this room? I'm going to pay for a weeks lodging. I don't know how long I'm going to need to stay here when I get back."
"You're leaving?"
"Only for a short time. Helping a friend clear some stuff up with an ex."
"Oh. I will arrange everything. Not to worry m'am."
"Thank you."
Smiling at each other they walked back to the bar and eating area together talking. She told the girl all about her old life when her father was alive and the great many trips they would take as a family. Back before she had fallen in love with Gabriel, when life was so much simpler than it was now. She sat with her back towards Gabriel and Elijah with her cowl on several tables away. Sipping at her blood she waited for some food as well. Maybe it would help calm her nerves with being in the same room as Gabriel and now Elijah. Eve had to focus on keeping calm or else it would give herself away. Coming down here with Gabriel was risky enough. But now both brothers were here together. Why couldn't this day just end already so she could leave with Elvira and Sara? It seemed like time stood still as sunset turned to dusk and soon to be twilight. There was no way she could get any more rest at this point. After eating maybe she should just go wait for.... Oh no. She never asked where to meet Elvira at! Only that it was to be at dawn. This was just perfect. Now irritated with herself she asked a passing waitress for a bottle of whiskey. No one knew her to be a drinker, but she could hold her own when it came down to it.

Elijah nodded at his brothers reply and finished his drink saying "we must be going brother if we are to make it to father in a timely manner, remember what happened last time we were late?" Elijah took the food from sydney and thanked her happily putting it in his pack along with the whiskey and then sat up stretching, he could still feel that nagging source of energy that seemed so familiar to him abd asked "gabrial can you feel that energy? The one that feels so familiar?"

Gabriel sat there sipping his wine for a little longer until Elijah had mentioned them needing to leave so they were not late like before. Of course he remembered last time, they kept their dear Original waiting and he was not happy with them. He watched Elijah stand up and stretch. “Gabriel, can you feel that energy? The one that feels so familiar?” Gabriel stood up, then closed his eyes for a moment. “Yes, brother. I know what you mean. I felt it earlier, just before you arrived here at the Tavern. I smelled something so familiar too. It was odd. . . “ They couldn’t waste anymore time. They needed to leave. “Let us not worry about it now, we need to be leaving. Sydney, thank you for your hospitality as always. Have a good evening.” To that, Gabriel started for the door. Once he stepped outside an owl landed on the ground next to him. He knew that bird, but couldn’t place it right away until he saw the blue ribbon. Cassandra. He bent down and untied the ribbon which had a letter with it. Opening it, he read it.'Gabriel,
We have received your letter here in Vil-lon. We will be expecting your arrival. Be careful on your travels. See you soon.
Cassandra'Good, they have received his letter. He looked over his shoulder. “Time to go brother, Cassandra has written me.” Then he shooed the owl off to return home to her owner.

Elijah couldnt shake that smell but was brought to his senses when his brother called his name to go. He looked at him and nodded packing away the food and alchohol and bidding everyone a fair night. Once out in the cool air he took a deep breath and exhaled. "Hopefully it stays this nice by the time we get there" he said gesturing forward saying "ladies first" jokingly at his brother.

Why on earth did she decide to come down here? What was she thinking? Luckily they were leaving now and she'd bee able to relax a bit more. As they went outside she dipped her head down a bit as she ate, the bottle of whiskey uncorked in front of her. The smell of it reminded her a bit of home. She wondered how her sister was doing without her there. Especially with that crazy witch of a mother they had. Oh Fraeya, why couldn't you just listen to your sister instead of making her worry about you? The departing owl flying across the window outside caught her attention and she looked up to the brothers preparing to leave. Her leg twitched with desire to run out to them and wish them farewell. It pained her seeing, and being so close, yet not apart of their world. Not yet anyways. She kept having to remind herself, 'Soon. Soon you'll be together again and this nightmare will be over. Soon.' With them leaving, she played with her food more than anything else. Rising from her seat she grabbed the plate and bottle then proceeded to head back upstairs again. She stopped briefly to tell the barmaid she would bring her plate down later. Once in her room she tossed the cowl back off her face and PT the plate and bottle on a desk. Removing the cloak she ran get fingers through her hair as she stood in the window watching them leave. So close and yet so far. Saddened Eve then began looking up at the sky as darkness became thick. How was she going to do this?
(Eventually leaves to wait on the castle rooftop)

He nodded agreeing with the weather, but did not agree with the "ladies first" joke. But he laughed and proceeded to walk. The feeling he was having earlier, it still lingered around him. It seemed so familiar, but couldn't put his finger on it. "Come brother, let us get ready for our trip to see father." To that, they walked back to Triali, also so that Elijah could check in with his beloved. To be sure she will be fine while they were gone.(( I'll post back in Triali once you have. You don't have to worry about posting here.))
