Description: Jasper is 5' 11" and weighs 157 lbs. He has straight black hair with a ponytail that reaches down his neck and amber-blue eyes. He is a slender guy with a bit of muscle tone from his job as a delivery man. Even though Jasper has the money for better clothes, he prefers to wear black t-shirts with simple blue pants and simple shoes. Jasper also wears a metal band with a symbol carved into it which is his family's heirloom.

Jasper is big on exercise. He spends about a third of his day runing around in the city. If he didn't, he wouldn't know what to do with himself, especially since he hates to just sit around doing nothing. Jasper's customers are always talking about how friendly he is. He loves to meet people and make friends as much as possible. Jasper is also a very passionate person. If he believes in something, he will defend it until he wins or is proven absolutely wrong. His passion is also what drives to run every day.He has some flaws as well, one of which is utter impatience. He can never just stand around and wait. He needs things to happen as soon as possible; if it's not fast, he doesn't like it. Plus the fact that he is disorganized doesn't help much either. His days are always random thanks to his job, and it just sticks throughout the rest of his day. He never really likes to plan things out, he'd rather life just go with the flow.

History: Jasper was born in Oldcastle but was forced to move to a small town on the outskirts of Palisade after the death of his parents. Nobody knew for sure what happened, but a rumor spread that they had taken from The Wardwood without giving an offering in return and died of a mystery illness bestowed upon them by vengeful spirits. Jasper was 5 when he and his older brother moved in with their Aunt and Uncle and their cousin. His brother Emil moved out soon after to attend a bording school in Palisade where he became an aristocrate.
He was a fourteen when he first got his job as a delivery boy. It was simple; just take the package from point A to point B. Since he was still at an impressionable age, he found the constant running to be exhilarating. He liked this job so much so that he still does it to this day. He even made friends with a few of his many regulars. He especially liked being friendly with them because they would tend to give a bigger tip.
Now in his early twenties, Jasper is one of the best runners in all of Palisade. Recently, his brother Emil has been making frequent visits to the little town outside of Palisade where Jasper and his Uncle's family live. He stops by to discuss current events in Palisade. Jasper finds that he doesn’t really like his brother much, so when he stops by, Jasper will often sneak out and go for a run or hangout with his friends.

Choosing Story: It happened on a rare day when Jasper had the day off from work. It was mid-day and he was walking through Palisade with nothing to do. At one point, he decided it might be fun to take a run into The Wardwood. He had never done this before, and he's unsure of why he decided to. Jasper left the city's border and started jogging, picking up speed until he was finally at the treeline. He stopped dead in his tracks and just starred, imaging how far the forest must go on.
Then Jasper looked down as he felt his foot take a step in, then another, and another until he was so far and deep inside The Wardwood that all he could see were the trees. The trees that seemed to go on forever.
He wanted to get out of there. Jasper turned around and started heading where he believed to be west to the outside of the forest. As he walked, Jasper came upon a massive tree, a Ward tree. He couldn't take his eyes off of it. There were so many of these little wooden charms hanging from the branches. One of them in particular caught his attention. At first he couldn't get to it, so he backed up. He took a running start and jumped, just getting the tip of it, and pulling it down as he fell back to the ground.
As he starred at the little wooden deer totem, Jasper began walking. He didn't even realize he was moving. He noticed only when he reached the edge of the forest. It was already late night and the sky was dark. Thankfully, Jasper had been on the road between Oldcastle and Palisade many times so he knew his way back home.
Once inside his home, Jasper sat down at his bed with a candle giving the room a dim ambience. He layed there for what seemed like hours, just gazing upon the totem and slowly drifting off to sleep.
