Cael plopped down next to the creek. He had spent the whole morning running and practicing. After all, he had nothing better to do with his time. He still couldn't go into town. This morning proved it when he accidently ran into the part of the woods that was directly behind someone's house. All it took was a mother calling for her daughter to come inside and he bolted. He managed to get half way here before he could get a hold of himself. Now, he was trying to calm down.
I need help, he thought, laying down and inching towards the water. The water was freezing, but it felt good against his hands. After taking a few drinks he felt better, but his clothes were sticking to back where his sweat was starting to dry.
"Ugh," he said, pulling off his jacket and shirt. He would take a bath when the water warmed up more. For now he was just going to lay there and relax.
