so i'm questing a dream avatar, along with a bunch of other items. and i'm trying to find good ways to make a lot of gold quickly. i'm making a list, but so far i only have these:

x-Posting in forums.
x-Booty Grab.
x-Opening a mini-shop.
x-Selling on the marketplace.
x-"Buzz saw farming" in zOMG!
x-Exchange items at the gaia exchange, sell them for a higher price at what you got them for.
x-Posting in the Achievements forum.
x-Contests.
x-Daily chance.
x-Dumpster dive.
x-Collect bugs, flowers, and newspapers in Towns (try the emptier parts).
x-Use the cash tree.
x-Profile comments.
x-Hoarding.
x-Drawing art for people.
x-Heralds of Chaos.
x-Tekteking for people.

Posting in forums is pretty helpful, there are even threads specifically for posting for gold! emotion_awesome
But, I rely mostly on Booty Grab for my questing needs. If I played it regularly I could do some damage, but I'm too lazy and my computer needs a break from the loadage.
You could even fix up your own graphics shop Dance-chan, if you're as good at photoshop as presume x3

I "sold" my way to the top sort of speak, selling a lot of items in the marketplace, things I would get from my tank, DC and expensive items I had that I hardly ever used and felt like I would get it again another time if I still wanted it.

I always booty grab since you can get up to 150k. I sometimes farm saws at basken lake in zomg! that gets you 50k. Other then that i just sell stuff. Booty grab really is the only quick way to get gold. otherwise you have to work for it unfortunately. sweatdrop

Post in the Achievements Forum about trying to get certain
achievements and bump other peoples topics. They often
tip you for it and believe it or not, those tips can help a lot!

I'm interested in this myself!
At first I thought to do art auctions since I doodle a little. XD;
And then I didn't know you could make a lot from zOMG! So I'm working on that now.. Except I remember reading somewhere that the maximum amount you can earn per day is 8OK.? o:
There's also a sign auction I could try, but I don't think I would get a good bid if I tried that. XD;
You could try entering as many contests as you can & see if you win!

1. Click on all the daily chances and do dumpster dive. If you get junk, sell it.
2. Go into towns and collects bugs, flowers, and newspapers. You can also post in your about me, signature, etc. that you want junk. After a while, go to My Gaia > Inventory > Game and list everything you've collected on marketplace. Believe it or not, these sell fairly fast.
3. Click on the cash tree and watch videos. Personally, my favorite ones to click are the SocialVibe videos. Anyway, after doing this for a while, your gaia cash really builds up. You can go in the cash shop and compare featured item prices on marketplace which you will later list for sale, or you can buy just a random item you want.
4. Play Booty Grab and always bump the forum. Bumps can lead to tips! Also, if you have an aquarium you can fill it with one arrowfish or one goldfish and feed them (almost) daily. Over time, this will increase your tank's health and the overseer will start giving out better items. Don't forget to always collect prizes from the overseer! This can be done while waiting for junk to sell!

Agreed, though I like to go into empty parts of Gaia Towns and collect the untouched trash, flowers and bugs so as I can sell them.

Usually if you're lucky there is a white present that glows pink around it and it floats around the screen and there's something that says: quickly! Catch it before it's gone. So you need to quickly click on it and then it'll say something like: you got a ____(shows the white present)____ Claim Your Gift Quick, before it expires. Click on the 'Claim Your Gift' button and then it ends up in your inventory in the special section. Click on the white present so then you would either get GOLD or an Item. Hope this helped, cuz I had 3 or 4 white presents: 1 was poo 2 was 5000 gold 3 was 10000 gold 3nodding heart whee 4laugh
