Two months ago, in New York, the super human prison named The Vault suffered a massive power failure. The Vault was ccontrolled by the secret organization called Dawnbringer. Until recently, the Meta-Human phenominon was a secret, known only to those giften with a meta-gene and the leaders of certain countries. With the prison break, however, hundreds of super powered indaviduals were released into the streets of New York. Chaos broke loose. All around the world, the secret was revealed... The world was not ready for this new change, but it had been forced upon it none the less. There was an idea, a crazy, stupid and brilliant idea. There were masked heroes living among us, meta-humans who had taken the duty of protecting the world onto their shoulders. Some of these masked heroes had seen the chaos, fought against it, but realized that no one hero could handle the break out. And so these heroes, taking the name Paragons, came together. Dawnbringer, however, see's these 'Paragons' as a blight on the world. They have taken it upon themselves to destroy them, to ensure that the world realizes the simple truth: the Paragons are not the answer. OoC Profile Page

-The Company- Before the Vault Prison Break, before 9/11, before World War II, originated an organization of top scientists and military personnel. The organization was funded by and consisted of roughly twelve nations at the time and fifty-six nations now. This organization was formed and followed the guise of 'The Company'. The Company did things no ordinary companies did. For example, in 1944, towards the end of World War II, the first meta-human was captured. This meta-human was able to bend metal at his will, albeit he did not have any control at the time and was captured when he tore through a panzer tank.
That was the start of many other captures and kidnappings of said meta- humans. There were rumors of a man who was able to talk to animals, a little girl who could lift an elephant with ease, and many other captures throughout the century.
Bet you didn't know 9/11 was actually a meta-human terrorist, now did you? Yes... A meta-human that was able to control minds had controlled the said terrorists to commit such heinous crimes. The Company did not want panic and thus they blamed the foreigners from across the Atlantic.
The world was not yet ready for meta-humans.
Until now.
After the Vault break out, there was an increase of the meta-humans being discovered. There are more and more meta-humans or 'Heroes' as they like to call themselves were appearing. But with every 'Hero' there is a 'Villain'. Now, the Company is out to capture them. All of them, to test on them and to find out how to bend them to their will.
-Risk Level of Meta-Humans- Mundane ;; D - Less impressive people who's power is mostly physical like gills or claws.
Mutation ;; C - A person who's power is based on their physical attribute, but with other advantages. They are dangerous, but need to be recharged or have an energy source. These include things like invisability.
Inhuman ;; B - Powers that are somewhat more powerful. This is included in powers like super speed or some such power. It can also include psychic powers.
Meta ;; A - These are dangerous powers, people capable of great destruction. These involve advanced kinetic powers or even elemental powers.
Avatar ;; S - People with terrible power, capable of raining fire from above, tremors from below and floods from all around. Their power is over the world itself and they are rare. Rumors tell of a man capable of guiding fates direction itself.

 ---------------------The Law !
Yes, yes you despise the paragraph formation but sorry this is so much easier for harmonious co-existence oo1 General Reference Lets be clear, this may be a guild but I'm in charge in here. If and when I apoint Mods, they will have a level of authority. Be kind and respectful to your fellow rolelplayers, and for the love of all things holy, follow the ToS. Lets not see anything vile, alright? This is a family site, so while you may feel free to have your character partake in romance: if clothes come off, you take a time skip. Please don't advertise. If you want a link posted, ask me. I've set a position for that very reason, guys! oo2 Posting As this is a literate roleplay, I expect to see literate people. So, lets get this clear. You must be able to construct a basic sentance, adhere to current and proper grammer. You must be able to post a minimum of six hundred words. The limit should be above fifteen hundred. I won't dock you points for writting a lot, but at some point people just stop reading posts that are uber long. Of course, this doesn't mean I'm going to shaft you for writting less on an off day. Though, everyone should be able to grind out six hundred words: even if you've got nothing for a character to do. Also, a side note: these are supposed to be real people, so weather or not they curse is their choice. I don't want you going overboard, but language is the characters perogative, not mine. oo3 Characters Let be real, here, okay? Sure, you've discovered that you're one of hundreds of super powered people: that doesn't mean this has to be lame. I don't want sci-fi channel level stuff here, people. I want to see Emmy Award winning characters out there. Develop them, give your guy/gal a deeper side. I want to see characters that are multi-facited. give them some real features. oo4 Reservations & Profiles Fairly simple. Follow the codes, to the letter, and no one has to die. When you've got a reserve, send the PM titled "I'm a Hero/Villian/Neutral/Dawnbringer". Simple enough? Good. Now comes the tricky part: send profiles with a PM titled, "Nothing Will Stop Me". Phew. That was tough, huh? A final note: memebers of the Paragons, as well as Bawnbringer, must say so in their reserve. Others, however, can be anything you want. Just remember to be unique, okay? I don't want people who are alike. oo5 Time Management I'm not gonna tell you to post every day, or even every other day. But, at the very, bare minimum, you should post once every seven days. Twice or more is better, but I know fom experience that forcing that many posts out can leave you dry and kill your muse. Trust me, pace yourself.
