RabbitsPennycress
History: Pennycress came across the warren as a young adult after a disorientating escape from a warren quite some distance away. She knows she saw the moon and sought shelter twice as she ran from the long elil that humans had unleashed upon her home warren. Without knowledge of the direction she'd been fleeing in when she came to Watership Down, Pennycress, perhaps for the best, knows no way back to her original warren.
Lineage: Pennycress would talk about her family quite happily if she had any idea which, in the warren she came from, rabbits were her actual relations and which weren't. It seems that she has forgotten, or perhaps never got to know which rabbits were her real parents, however she has a host of 'aunts' and 'uncles' from her childhood who helped raise her.
Personality: Despite the traumatic exit from her original warren, Pennycress is, mostly, a happy rabbit and enjoys when rabbits around her are happy too. She is, as is sensible for a rabbit (especially of her coat) cautious about straying very far away from a bolt-hole and, though she loves to be outside, will hop toward a burrow at the first inkling of an elil or at any, harmless but startling, noise. Unfortunately, though she's happy and cautious, she suffers from a slight clumsiness. It may not be uncommon for her to 'tumble' into a warren, knock into another rabbit in a tunnel or, perhaps even, get stuck against another rabbit when trying to squeeze past.
Fears: Elil, humans, thunder, loud noises, the smell of smoke.
