If they want my trust, they better damn well show me proof of that avalanche. xp

That's why I made sure I asked Lanzer in Person at anime expo. xd And you trust his word in person, when he's on the spot and has no time to think about his answer or talk to other staff to confirm what he's saying? Lanzer hasn't been the head of Gaia in a long time; I'm not really sure what it is he does right now, aside from harassing the International Olympic Committee, but he doesn't always know what's going on in all the various departments. (To his credit, he doesn't claim to, either -- half his responses at AtA sessions are "I'll talk to so-and-so about that".)

That's pretty cool you went and got to meet them!
When it comes to zomg I'm like Kes in my distrust and probably won't believe it unless I see results XD
Personally, I doubt there will be much in the way of change soon but perhaps in a few years time there might be a chance for an update... but that seems to be a very slim chance.
Oh dear, I'm acting all doom and gloom about it aren't I XD

Man, I missed the gaia events at AX this year. T___T I was at the Naruto cosplay meet up during the Gaia Q & A.
That said, Lanzer's word needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Mainly in that he doesn't have a great reputation in reporting accuracies in the dev field. Nothing against the guy though.

I think he likes to be very, very optimistic. Like optimistic in a way that reality isn't. From various ATA encounters with him, he has this amazing ability to issue a response that's vague, confusing, or that misses the point entirely and answers a question that wasn't even asked.

They said they were working on it?? hmmm...
I guess " Shelving " is not the same as scrapping???
It would be cool if they did add more areas/levels.
At one of the Dev Meats i did see a UFO that JK spawned and it was LvL 100. So maybe ?
