Sir? Antarmur'ss started to chuckle softly. "Sir? So very... unusual. I don't think I've been addressed in my own temple as 'Sir'. Typically it is Lord, or My God." Antar shifted on his throne and uncrossed his legs. "I believe you are confused my dear. You were the one that called out to me. I merely answered. You wished guidance and I gave it to you. What do you intend to do now though? "

She colored a little behind her dark skin- feeling more than a bit foolish. If she had been worried about Lloth showing up, then maybe she should have been clued in that perhaps she was dealing with a -god- of this strange realm.
Spin worried her lower lip, "Ahh, do forgive me, my Lord-" ...it was respectful, in a way, but also presumptuous to call him anything to herself, "You are indeed correct- I -am- confused," it hurt her pride a little, but she continued, "... I know very little of this world, and of my current situation- so indeed I did pray. I just... do not know what to do."

"Antarmur'ss" He offered to Spin...which in all truth and honesty was a name stolen from the very drow people. Prince of Darkness. That would be the drow translation. He honestly doubted there were many in this world that would know where he pulled his name from. Antar folded his silver tipped fingers together as he listened to the female stammer through her explanation. "You prayed for guidance, thus I have granted it. If you are lost, I can find you. You need only kneel and offer yourself to me." He replied while eyeing the female pointedly.

The name suited him, she had to agree- he was familiar in a way, yet unfamiliar in others. A taste of home, but without all the unpleasant baggage to go along with it.
...she hesitated one moment- to be polite to a male was one thing, but part of her bridled in actually -kneeling- to one. But... She gave him one last, hard look- he opened a path in front of her when she had done. He may do so again in time... and her pride would survive the process, she was sure.
Spinneret lowered he eyes demurely, though it felt strange to do so, and then sank to her knees, "My Lord, Antarmur'ss- though I fear I come to you in a much fallen state and have very little to offer, I beseech you-" her words hitched a little raw there, it some of this was far too close to the truth and far too little theatrics, "Please... allow me to take shelter in your darkness, oh prince- and allow me to be of what use I can be to you!"

The struggle she was feeling was sort of clear. Antar knew only scant details of her original societies ways, but he knew enough to believe that kneeling to a male had to be hard to carry out. Antarmur'ss did not rush Spin though. He gave her the time she needed to complete her offering to him. His hand lifted and he gestured to Spin. "My dear...the most lofty of princesses may stride before me, or the most lowly of slaves can crawl. Yet I will always listen to the words of those that come to me seeking my influence." Antar shifted in his throne so he could look down upon Spin. "I shall accept you as my servant, though if you desire more then just being a stepping stone within my temple, it shall be up to you to prove your worth." He murmured finally.

She still felt terribly flustered- any sort of humility felt terribly strange to her, and her stomach had been twisting in poisonous knots while she's waited for his reaction. ...still, it was comforting that her words had had some weight to them, even if she was realistically certain he wasn't terribly impressed with her.
Spinneret didn't really know the protocol for such things, so she felt it was safe to stay on her knees for the moment- but her shoulders relaxed, just a little. She hadn't even known she'd had them tensed, really.
As dangerous as it was, she couldn't help but allow a wry chuckle to escape her mouth- before she hastily covered her mouth in what she hoped was a slightly dainty manner, and tried to cover it with a cough. "I do not mean offense, my Lord- it is just that the very situation that has brought me to you has all but guaranteed that I am... lacking."
That really stung to admit, but she soldiered on, "I am woefully ignorant in the ways of this realm... and I am missing my most valuable piece of property-" she wondered if she should even bring it up, but she couldn't help it, "though I still intend to -seek- it, my Lord- and should I find it, I will use it in your service, if you think it worthy."

Antarmur'ss continued to watch the female for a few more moments. The mere fact she remained before him and had not yet risen to scurry away meant something. It meant there was something more upon her mind. As powerful as Antarmur'ss was, sometimes he wished he could just have a little bit more power. Just enough to know what went on through the heads of those he claimed ownership of.

Antar's tail slowly shifted, the long furred tip brushed over the stones at his feet. The chuckle was poorly covered up, and Antar's purple brow arched slightly at Spin. "This realm is...most simple in many ways. If you need a place to collect your thoughts and become accustomed to it, you may make use of my city. Though I do not see how it is my concern where your lost items are. I could direct you to a demigod I crossed paths with if it is that you merely forgot where it was you put it though."

"Your city is much more pleasing to my eyes and my nerves than where I was at, this is true... but I am not much of a fighter, and I cannot expect my Lord to come and bail me out when one of the... inhabitants decides I am a tasty snack," she paused, then continued, "Unless, of course, they are under your control, my Lord."
She shifted her position, "And as for my item- it is not something I could merely 'misplace,'" she fought hard not to sound offended, bowing her head and taking a breath, letting out a delicate snort, "...and as ignorant as I may be, I would not suggest my -god- go out trinket-hunting. I merely ask that if he happens to look upon it, he might tell me of such news."
Spin's eyes flicked up slightly at the motion of Antar's tail- such a curious appendage! 'Bah, where is your attention span, woman,' she chided herself.
"I shall attempt to be brief in explanation, my Lord- but the very fact that I am attempting to explain has probably ruined that already," though it didn't shut her up, she did at least seem aware that she was being wordy, "I transformed my brother into a more powerful form- as a test of power. It... was a success, and he gained spider-like features," she sounded proud of herself, she couldn't help it.
"Not as elegant as a transformation to a drider, mind you..." she mumbled as an afterthought, looking to the side.
"In any case- almost all of my magical power was tied up with him- as I can still feel a very distant connection with him, and my power hasn't returned... I have to think he is merely lost somehow, but not dead- and perhaps he is here, or in the process of following me here," she shifted again, "...what it would mean for you, my Lord, is another follower... or at least a servant. With my connection to him, I can force him to do anything I wish- and he is a passable bodyguard, thus he makes me less... vulnerable and able to serve in the process."

Gently Antar twitched his tail over the stone floor as he listened to the female speak. She did seem to ramble on a bit. perhaps she was just flustered with actually speaking to a deity face to face? Antarmur'ss supposed that his presence had to be a bit overwhelming to some beings. The tendrils of his tail curled and twisted across his foot. Gently he pulled his toe free of a particularly grasping tendril, and diverted his gaze to watch it while pushing it aside with his heel. His act of being disinterested in the female was only partly an act. He was merely waiting for her to finally get to the point of her story. When she would finally allude to her search for another, he perked a brow and finally returned his gaze to Spinneret. "Perhaps, if I come across this other I may make note of him. I am not inclined to ignore the possibility of another servant. However you shall have to rely on your own skills to hunt him down. Now then... are you done? I have some other matters I wish to turn my attention to now."

...well, it could have gone far worse, she reasoned. Besides, her knees were starting to get a little ache-y. "I just wished for my Lord to know that of which I sought- I am not going to helplessly sit back and make you do all the work. I would just... appreciate it if you heard anything, you might inform me of it," she took a deep breath, her eyes flitting nervously from what Antar's tail was doing to dare to glance up at his face.
"Erm... I shall stop bothering you, my Lord. ...if there is nothing you wish of me currently... if you are done with me... that means I can get up... yes?" she attempted to ask delicately- she was at the loss for protocol.

Antar lifted his hand and made a small gesture to Spinneret after her question. "Yes... rise now and go." He murmured to the female. "I have no need of you nor any desire to draw out a audience when I could be tending to my...other attentive worshipers." Antar paused and pointedly lifted his eyes upwards where his 'personal' quarters were in the castle. His tail tendrils had shifted again, one wrapped tightly around his ankle to cling to it. With a pull of his tail, he jerked the tendril free, then glanced back down towards Spin. "I trust you shall find yourself a suitable home within my city. There is many unclaimed buildings, so you shall have your pick. Be wary of the dark beast vermin, they are not tame or timid by any means." He considered if there was anything more to share with her...but he considered her to be intelligent enough to work out anything else. With another dismissive wave of his hand, Antar allowed his form to waver and vanish back into the dark shadowy mass that had lurked over the throne when she first entered the room.

She rose to her feet- she would have felt a little put-off at being so dismissed... well, almost. Spin was sort of glad that he was probably preoccupied enough not to notice her stumble slightly as her knees made an unpleasant noise or two... she had much to ponder and much to learn about this new place, but she felt... comforted in a strange way. A little less lost.
Though his form departed, just to be safe she curtsied once more in his direction, "Thank you, my Lord- have a fair evening."
Spin wasn't -sure- it was evening, but it seemed the thing to say to a god of such tastes as her own.
She allowed herself one more moment to stretch her legs, then she departed- she wasn't foolish enough to linger when she was clearly a bit of an afterthought at the moment... perhaps she could figure out a way to change that someday- it might prove interesting.
For now, though, her plan was simple- to find a suitable place to rest, even if temporary... and then barricade the door and hope for a suitable bed and a long rest.
...she wasn't -quite- desperate enough to wonder if moss was edible yet, but she figured a nice sleep in the soothing darkness would do her mind wonders. She may be severely lacking in powers, but she wasn't -stupid-. Spin was quite sure, for the first time since she'd woken in this strange land, that things might be all right after all, and she allowed herself a smile as she exited the castle.
