Arius: *minding his own business, sharpening his antlers on a tree who isn't taking the damage well*
Akasha: -notices him- -watches him, hidden mostly behind a tree- .... -softly- You should do that on an older tree. You'll break that one. -peeks shyly at him-
Arius: *peers at Akasha, blinking a few times at her familiarness* Oh. Hm. *glances back at the tree* This is my favorite one, though. It always gets the job done good.
Akasha: Oh..... -steps out slightly from behind the tree, but is still partly hidden behind it- You just don't want to kill the tree. That would be sad. -voice soft- -flicks her tail about her-
Arius: *glances at the tree again* :I .... It's just a tree. *looks at her like 'whats the big deal?'*
Akasha: -steps back a bit, nervous looking- Well.... It's still alive... And it gives nice fruit. And... And... -looks down shyly, retreating backward-
Arius: *steps towards Akasha, peering at the harness thingy she's wearing* What is this? *motions to it with the tilt of his head*
Akasha: It's just something I've always worn. -doesn't step back as he steps closer but keeps her head lowered, shy- My mother gave it to me and I gave one to one of my sons... -glances up at him, ears flattening backward slightly-
Arius: I've seen one before. *recoils, looking hesitent to reveal any more* ... Is Lotus one of your sons?
Akasha: -blinks before nodding, looking up at Arius- Yes.... Are you and Lotus... friends? -tilts her head slightly, looking less shy-
Arius: ... *nods slowly* I suppose you could say that. Erhh... It's nice to meet you. I'm Arius.
Akasha: -smiles- My name is Akasha. It's nice to meet a friend of Lotus. -looks at him with more curiousity- Although... I am confused. What do you mean 'you could say that'? Are you not good friends?
Arius: Erh, well... Th-.. No. Uh. I mean. *shuffles* We're good friends. It's just... A lot... of my relationships are... too complex to just... slap a label on... You know?
Akasha: .................... Oh..... -blushes slightly- So you two are more than good friends? -tilts her head curiously-
Arius: *flusters* I said no such thing!
Akasha: -squeaks and quickly retreats behind the tree, ears flattening- Sorry, sorry, sorry. ;3;
Arius: *blinks* o no... I didn't mean to scare you.
Akasha: -peeks out from behind the tree- Sorry for embarassing you....
Arius: I'm not embarrased. :T
Akasha: Oh.... okay.... -doesn't look convinced- -takes another step out from behind the tree- So.... if you two aren't.... together then what makes it complicated?
Arius: *pauses, still flustered* ... Well, ah. You know, it's really none of your business. *huffs*
Akasha: -droops- I suppose not.... I just wanted to know what my son was up to..... I don't get to meet many of his friends.....
Arius: Mhmph. *peers at her* Well, maybe you should put the effort into talking to him more often.... *pauses thoughtfully, almost feeling sympathy towards Akasha* ... He's given up the traveling thing, you know.
Akasha: -looks down, nodding before blinking and looking back up at Arius- .... Has he? -frowns, scraping her hoof lightly in the dirt- So... He's back home now?
Arius: That's right.
Akasha: Oh. -smiles slightly- That's good... But why did he give it up?
Arius: ... He uh, he said something about.... Losing the itchy hooves, or something like that.
Akasha: Oh.... Well I'm glad he's home.

Akasha: |3 -grazing happily- -looks up and glances around- -hums softly and returns to grazing-
Lotus: *emerges from the trees and is surprised to spot a familiar form grazing nearby. Slowly approaches Akasha. It’s been so long…*
Akasha: -lifts her head at the sound of someone approaching- -eyes widen and ears perk- Lotus! <3 -hurries over and nuzzles him before blushing and flattening her ears slightly- I missed you. -nuzzles him again, just not so excitedly-
Lotus: *trots to meet her, little wings flickering in delight* Mother. <3 *glad for such a warm greeting and nuzzles her back with a soft chuckle* I missed you too. I hope you’ve been well.
Akasha: <333 I have. I hope you've been well too. -nuzzles more- I met a friend of your's. He said you were done travelling. I'm glad you're home. I missed you too much.
Lotus: I have been. *curious blink* A friend of mine? *smiles* But yes, I travelled for a long time but now I’m happy with where I am. *noses her cheek* I will come visit you more often.
Akasha: Good. It'll be good to see you more. <333 And yes, a friend. A big buck with gems hanging from his antlers. Aruis I think his name was? He said you two were good friends. -smiles and nuzzles-
Lotus: Oh, did he say that? Good friends. *very, very pleased and tries to hide his expression by giving Akasha another exuberant nuzzle*
Akasha: -peers at Lotus curiously- Yes, he did. -smiles- Although... he did mention it was complicated? -eyes Lotus questiongly- And then he said it wasn't my business when I kept asking questions. I think I may have embarassed him... -ears droop slightly-
Lotus: Oh…? *wry smile* I would have thought it would have been more complicated for me than him. *stares at the ground in thought. Unless Arius had realised…oh dear, and he’d been trying so hard not to make it too obvious* Don’t mind him. He can get a bit testy sometimes.
Lotus: Ah… *is about to say ‘its complicated’ but stops himself with a chuckle* … I don’t have many friends. After all that travelling, when I returned, it felt like I didn’t know anybody at all. And then there was Arius. *frowns* Now I might have become more ‘attached’ to him then I had intended… *is stepping around the issue awkwardly, but is at least glad to have someone to talk to about it* And I doubt he wants that.
Akasha: -listens silently before nodding- Oh.... -frowns lightly before nuzzling Lotus lovingly- Well I'm glad you have a friend you trust. <3 Just... Just be careful not to get too attached if you know he won't return it? -frowns, scuffing the dirt, continuing to nuzzle Lotus' neck- Be a bit cautious I mean.....
Lotus: Arius is… difficult. *rests his cheek against hers and sighs* Don’t worry about me mother. I… am not afraid to love somebody that won’t love me back. *little smile* As long as he doesn’t find out, I will have to remain content with that friendship.
Akasha: -sighs softly, smiling at Lotus- Just promise that you'll do what will make you happy in the long run? I don't want you sad. -nuzzles again- <3 And besides, maybe he will come around. -nods-
Lotus: We’ll see. *doesn’t make any promises, and instead changes the subject*

Akasha: -nervously looking for Arius-
Lucero: -behind her- >>
Arius: *clearing snow from his the inside of his den*
Akasha: -spots him- -steps up to the entrance of the den and leans forward, not actually stepping in- Um.... h-hello Arius.
Lucero: -stands close behind his mother, frowning lightly at Arius-
Arius: Mmrhh? *blinks at the unexpected visitors* ... Oh. It's you. *looks at Lucero, eyes flicking over him skeptically* And... What, are you Lotus's dad or something?
Lucero: -snorts- No. >|
Akasha: >///< This is Lucero, Lotus' brother. He insisted on coming. Said I'd get lost.... -gives Arius a tiny smile-
Arius: .... Ah. >:/ *brows furrow at Lucero, rather displeased by his disrespectful behavior* So, what do you want? *steps out of his den, shaking snow from his hoof*
Lucero: -has no idea who Arius is- ....................... So you're Lotus' friend?
Akasha: -sighs softly, glancing at Lucero- Please don't be rude. -looks back to Arius- I just wanted to talk... ><;; I'm sorry for disturbing you
Arius: *eyes narrow at Lucero* That's right... *ignores Akasha, stepping towards Lucero aggressively as if to challenge him* What's it to you?
Akasha: D8 P-p-please don't fi-fight
Lucero: D< What's that supposed to mean? -glares back-
Arius: It was just a simple question.... What? You didn't understand that? *huffs. scraping a hoof in the snow* Maybe you should ask your mommy what it means.
Lucero: -glares- You must be a bad friend if you get offensive when some asks if you're friends. -snorts- I hope Lotus knows not to trust you. >| -scrapes at snow-
Akasha: D| -steps in between them, looking extremely nervous- Stop. Please?
Arius: *snorts at Lucero* You must be stupid to expect anything less from a stranger when you invade his home with glare instead of a greeting. *glances at Akasha, a gentle frown forming on his face as he sees the fear in her eyes* Meh. *flicks his tail, and turns back to his den as if to say Lucero isn't worth it in the first place*
Lucero: -glares- I didn't invade your home. >| Stupid. -stomps off to wait for Akasha away from Arius-
Akasha: D| I'm sorry.... He didn't mean it. I think he wanted to make sure you weren't my friend. >< I didn't mean to intrude.
Arius: *smirks as he sees Lucero stomp away - he'll take that as a hasty retreat* Next time don't bring the brat with you. *eyes Akasha* :T So, why are you here?
Akasha: I just... It's cold and I wanted to make sure you were okay and... And I spoke to Lotus and that's all... >< I can go if you want.
Arius: *chuckles* Cold? You think I could get cold with a magnificent coat like this? *shows off his luxurious fluff* Yeah, you don't have to worry about me in this weather... *pauses* Oh, you did? Well, that's good... He probably missed you. *watches, expecting something more* :T
Akasha: -nods- ......... Be kind to him? -frowns, looking down at the ground-
Arius: .... Why wouldn't I be. :T
Akasha: I don't think you wouldn't be intentionally.
Arius: *stares*
Akasha: ><;; I don't want to say more and offend you or say something that he doesn't want said. Just.... Be nice.
Arius: *snorts and rolls his eyes* I'll keep that in mind.
Akasha: .... Thank you. -smiles lightly- -glances into the den- ... Would you like my help? -smiles- Or.... Or would you prefer I leave?
Arius: I'm nearly finished here. *nods as if to dismiss her*
Akasha: -nods- Alright.... -smiles- Keep warm. -turns and heads off, nudging Lucero-
Lucero: -shoots a glare at Arius but follows Akasha-
Arius: *tooooootally doesnt feel threatened by fairy princess kin*
