Do not rp in the "Gaia" setting. This shop takes place in a town called Spellbound Falls. On EARTH.

This strange, magically effeminate man rules the convenience store in town. It is inside the enchanted aisles of Easy Magic where the mysterious gachapon machine resides. There's other strange happenings here as well...

Hiring

Artists
Full and Part Time

Gachapon is looking to add to its staff of artists! We need to find TWO full time artists and ONE part time artist. Please make sure you have time to dedicate to the shop for either position as it will be drawing intensive.

Full Time Requirements:

-Be able to create your own plush set (at least four plushes) and willing to let them be used permanently in the shop

-Be able to create one FS pet per month and two per holidays (if needed)

-Be able to draw up to the standard of the shop

-Be available to participate in the Trading Corner where people can earn "free" art

Benefits: semi-custom character (if wanted), auction/customs for every five chibi stage completed, 90% from said auction earnings and 80% for every fs. You will also have the option to have an artshop in the guild to which you keep all earnings.


Part Time Requirements:

-Be available to participate in the Trading Corner where people can earn "free" art

-Be available to participate in events where people have the chance to earn art of their character

-Be available to hold an artshop in the guild (you keep all earnings)

-Available to create fs/event pets if really needed

Benefits: semi-custom character (if wanted), one auction/event per year where you keep 80% of earnings.

Manger
RP/Events/Games

We are looking for two managers who will be able to function as all purpose people. Please understand that this will be an activity driven position. Make sure that you can be active in the thread at least every other day.

Requirements:

-Be able to oversee rp threads and acknowledge when they have been completed.

-Able to give crits for customs that need it

-Ability to run events and in thread games where thread goers have the chance to earn coins for the Trading Corner

- Be able to contribute to the meta-plot discussion

-Able to contribute rp time for people who need it in the shop

-Generally be around to help out

Benefits: One custom character after one month proof of good manager activity ( plus that gives you time to come up with a character ;D ) and 100k a month (if we make enough as a shop lol)

Stages

Stage One : Gatcha

A gachapon machine has popped out a small capsule with some sort of plush inside of it. Can't seem to open it though for some reason. Better keep it safe.

This stage is recycled art from a preset plush set unless for an auction or custom. Only light edits will ever be done to this stage.

Stage Two : Plush

Oh look! It's a plush now! It's so soft too. And did I mention it talks?

This stage is recycled art from a preset plush set unless for an auction or custom. Only light edits will ever be done to this stage.

You automatically reach this stage after 2 weeks of thread activity.

Stage Three : Chibi

OH HI CUTE LITTLE BOY. WHERE IS MY DOLL AND HOW DID YOU GET IN MY HOUSE?

Unique art (( This is honestly gratuitous chibi art. Think of your Gachapon as normal, functioning human size. They can be any age ))

You will reach this stage if, you have completed journal set up, 1 rp, and ongoing thread activity.

Stage Four : Adult

You grew again? My, aren't you all grown up now?!

Unique art

This is an rp intense stage. You must complete 6 rps, 3 journals, and maintain ongoing thread activity if you want to reach this stage.

Regarding Rp: You can either chose to have a guardian for your gachapon and live in your own home OR you can chose to not have a guardian, in which case your gachapon will live in Fiore's Boarding House until they are free to leave once they reach the adult stage.

Availability

So you're ready to own a Gachapon of your very own? Well read on and discover how!


Flatsale

Flatsales usually consist of common and uncommon plushes, which you can find located in the creature guide. They are included in what are called plush sets, which contain five plushes of a common theme. These sets can also be found in the creature guide. Once the shop gets started up, these sets will become more obvious. Flatsales will either be done using writing prompts or drawing prompts


Raffle

As with flatsales, raffles usually contain only common and uncommon plushes. Sometimes there will be a rare plush, but not often. Tickets for raffles will always be 100g and winners will be randomly generated then contacted for the name of their new gachapon.

Auction

Auctions are one of the places where you can collect the rare plushes. These plushes are completed unique lineart and no one else will ever have this specifically drawn plush. These auctions will be held in the standard way and all rules and regulations will included with the start of the said auction.

Customs

Sometimes, an artist will open up customs that can be bought with either gaia gold or through an RL commission. Who the artist chooses is up to them as they will be the one drawing. Any plush creature can be chosen for this and the plush will be unique lineart.

Trading Corner

Non growing plushes and minipets can be bought here for a certain amount of gachapon coins. However, sometimes special growing plushes can be bought as well. There's even been instances of a seemingly non growing plush actually growing into a chibi. How strange.

Free

Well this is interesting. Keep an eye out for a certain loving fairy who frequents Pelagius' convenient store.

Events

We will be having events throughout the preopening. The first is a raffle and the others you will find out as they come up.

We will also be having mini events through out the thread where you can earn different colored gachapon coins to spend at the Trading Corner!

Meaning, the smallest number of tickets you can purchase is 10 and the maximum is 10000 per transaction. You can purchase an unlimited number of tickets overall. You are allowed to purchase tickets for other people if you wish. All tickets will be listed sequentially.

To purchase 10 tickets it is 100g. For 100 it is 1k. For 10000 it is 100k.

What is the shop's theme?
We're based off Japanese Gachapon toys.

How do I get one?
You can get one by participating in games, rp prompts, raffles, flaffles, auctions, customs and semi customs.

Is this shop RP Intensive?
Not really. The first two stages, gachapon and plush are guaranteed. Everything after that only requires minimal RPing except for the mystery stage.

Is it easy to get a Gachapon?
Pretty much. If you're active and have a good quest, there are high chances for you to get fairyed. Or, if you participate in a lot of in thread events, you can collect coins which can be used to obtain a gacha through other means.

How many Gachapon can I have?
You can have up to three growing gachapon.

Why don't I get a unique plush in flatsales/games/trading corner?
Because that would mean a lot more work for the artists. Its easier just to have sets of plushes that we can all use to create unique parts of the stages

Do you guys rehome them?
Auctions, customs and semi customs will never be rehomed. Ones that have been obtained through flatsales and raffles have every chance of being rehomed when the owner is no longer active in thread. We don't like hit'n'runs very much. :c

What kind of animals are used in Gachapon?
The skies the limits when you're questing. Any animal, mythical or otherwise, is acceptable.

That's perfectly fine! There can and will be repeats of different creatures.

Are there plush edits?
Of course as long as its a small edit like a color change or tiny accessory addition.

Is there breeding?
Why yes, yes there is. If you manage to obtain the special breeding coin, your pet and their partner can reproduce. It's not what you're thinking though. Instead of a pregnancy, the couple will visit the magical gachapon machine and insert their breeding coin. They'll make a wish for their child and SHAZAM! a gachapon ball will appear with their new plush child inside. Both parties must be at the adult stage for this. Two babies are guaranteed with a potential third.

OMG! THEY'RE SO CUTE. CAN I STEAL ONE?
Uh... No. Art theft will be treated very seriously. Honey spends a lot of time doing the art.
