It’s a funny thing how life works. One day you are home, sitting on the couch and reading a novel while your parents watch TV. Next thing you know you are surrounded by demon’s who treat you like a pet as though you are a lap dog. My name is Moriel Cane and this is my story. Ok, so I’m not a normal human teen but still is that any reason to put me in a cage and treat me like an animal? You have to understand, in this world it is every man for himself even if your own child is taken by another creature you can do nothing about it. And though it is hard to find love when you are in captivity it managed to find me. One day as i am sitting in my small cage in my master's momentarely empty room a, shockingly, kind demi demon stumbles across me. From the moment i see ___ my heart stutters. He is perfect and he kneels down next to my cage "It is not right... How he treats you" ___ whispered, shacking his head with a scowl. How could any demon be this kind? Or have a heart for that matter???
