Saved by fate once again our leader live on! Seriously thought that has to be a scary thought. I've been fortunate enough to never have been in an accident where anyone was hurt.
On a side note: if you're going to go with pirate items we should get some Jolly Rodgers and some of them pirate swords like off Pirates of the Caribbean.

Please continue to stay safe, _of_! We don't want our fearless co-dictator to be scathed by anything life threatening!
*hugs*
On another side note: Jolly Rogers work for me...and a nice cutlass or scimitar wouldn't hurt either! I concur heartily, me hearty!

Wow.
That happened to me recently too, although it was more of a 'random car comes out of nowhere, speeding through intersection without looking, my mother and I inches from slamming into the van..'
Cars scare me. Probably because once before a soccer game we were talking to a nice old man sitting on a soccer bench at our game, and when the game started, he left. Later on, paramedics were all over the street behind our field. Apparently the old man got hit.. D;

Cars are dangerous weapons in the hands of impatient, testy mortals...and even some well meaning ones.
I hear you, Pants.
I really wish I never had to drive again. I know I'm a minority on this one...most Americans wouldn't give up their cars to save their lives.

Scranton is a city. But there are no tubes here because: - it is a very small city - it is built on top of a whole bunch of coal mines But walking works just fine, especially here on campus.

Something I will never forget is something that happened when I was about 11. We were living out in a very rural area with almost no trees or houses. Just grass and road. We were watching 'The Haunting' and I heard something that was like a car door...even though I knew it was way too early for my father to be home from work. I looked outside and saw a red van and a green/white truck, one was crunched in real well on the side, the other in the front. I ran out there to see while mom called an ambulance. The thing I remember most was hearing a kid about my age yelling that it hurts, and for someone to make it stop hurting. I kinda went into hysterics after that...
