describe your character in three words: Back-stabbing, lazy, and flirtatious.

personality overview: Arianna is extremely lazy, hipocritical, and loves making fun of people. She the iconic Slytherin, unfortunately. She has a pretty good sense of right and wrong, though she rarely uses it, and sometimes she can be a bit naive. Arianna isn’t the best student, but she does excel at Charms and Trasfiguration, like her mother had. It means the world to her that she is so much like her mother.

Arianna isn’t all bad, though. She is extremely OCD, and when she applies herself, she can actaully accomplish quite a lot. Of course, this is usually only when she's picking on someone, or she has discovered some great new scheme to play on everyone. Like love potions... Oh, how she loves concocting those prized beauties. They bring in top dollar. She can be a bit hot headed, talk some serious smack, and if you’re caught messing around on her, she isn’t afraid to break a few bones. No man uses her. She uses them. Also, Arianna's family has money, and she can be a bit flashy and throw her wealth around. Its one of the ways she tries to make everyone like her. After all, who doesnt like money?

current location: Cannock, Staffordshire, England

parents:
Father: Argus Donovan Herrington, 47, Ministry of Magic Auror, Ravenclaw
Mother: Adette Marie Finnigan Herrington, 43, Ministry Of Magic Charms Division, Slytherin
siblings:
Brother:Marcus Donovan Herrington, 21, Dragon Trainer, Slytherin
relationship with family: Arianna is extremely close with her remaining relatives, as she once was with her mother. She cherishs the time she has with them, though she'd never let on to it. That would ruin her reputation!

history overview: Brought up as the youngest grandchild, Arianna was rather spoiled. Both sides of the family were a long line of pure-bloods, and they detested the acceptance of muggles. Aliadane grew up in the countryside, and enjoyed the finer side of life. She would visit her maternal grandfather every summer, and listen to tales of Hogwarts from him and her older brother. It was a magical place, and she couldn’t wait to be a part of it. Three days after her eleventh birthday (the owl got lost), she received her letter. Her parents took her and her brother out the next day to get their school things. Of course, she had almost a year to plan her school experience. Arianna was so excited by the time she could actually leave, she almost forgot her trunk! But a thoughtful mother had already packed it away in the car.

Arianna went through the sorting process just like everyone else. Slytherin! it had called out. Perfect. She was following in her motherand brother’s footsteps, as her father had been in Ravenclaw. But Arianna wanted to be in Slytherin. It fit her perfectly. That night, she recieved an owl from her father. Her parents had been in a car accident. Her mother hadnt survived. Arianna was destroyed. But her brother came through for her, and she clung to him all night that first "magical" night at Hogwarts. They had missed a whole week of school for the funeral. When she came back, she was ready to show the school what she had to offer.

Thus, six years later, she is getting ready to start her sixth year at Hogwarts, and she can’t wait to make it the best one yet!

Quote:
Marcus sat in Potions, completely passed out in the back. Who needed a free period when you were a Potions genius, and could just sleep in class? Okay, okay. Maybe genius was a bit strong of a word for Marcus Ryan Damascus. Actually, it was way too strong of a word. But yet, there he was, passed out, and not caring one bit that he was. It was his normal routine. He'd stay awake the first half of class, then pass out for the second. Malfoy was always a good pal and told him what the homework was. And then he'd go find one of his Ravenclaw victims to pawn it off on. Yes, Marcus was sleeping very well in the back of the class. So when Professor Fryus whacked him on top of the head with him wand, Marcus started instantly. His eyes big, they finally settled on the wizard. "Mr Damascus, feel free to complete an essay on todays assignment. And it better be on my desk by Monday's class." Marcus groaned, but nodded. He'd just have to find another Ravenclaw to do that now, too. Well, that was easily enough taken care of. He returned to his relaxed, leaned back posture, but let his dark eyes broodingly follow the professor for the rest of the class. He even learned that there had actually, for once, not been assigned homework. Marcus swore softly. Oh well, wasnt like he was actually going to do it, anyways.

Finally, the class was released. He picked up his still packed bag, and threw it over his shoulder. He got out of that class as quickly as he could. He needed to find his victim so they could start his essay immediately. Marcus headed quickly to his common room, which, conviently was right down the hall. He went up into his dorm, and changed into a pair of muggle clothes. Yes, he wore muggle clothes at school. It saved his good, expensive magical clothing for when he was home, and he fit in better in them. Of course, there was those few Slytherin who didnt, but he wasnt about to single himself out like that. Not even close. He ran his fingers through his hair quickly, half hoping to run into Kristin Lestrange this evening. He really had the hots for her, and so far had only stayed away due to Malfoys threats of boils if he even tried to date the blonde's cousin. But Marcus didnt want to date her. He just wanted to claim her. Such was his way. And he wanted her.

Marcus spent only a minute more in his dorm, then made his way back out of the common room and began the assent to where the other houses would still be trekking the hallways. He made his way toward the Ravenclaw tower, and spotted a younger girl walking alone. Perfect. A wicked grin spread over his face as her approached her, stealing in for the scare. She was a fourth year. Marcus stopped just short of her, and waited. She was bound to do something wrong. Almost as if in response to his thoughts, she tripped, and her books went flying. Marcus was standing right in front of her when she had picked herself up. He was holding a peice of parchment that had come from her bag. A wicked smile flashed across his handsome features. All of the houses knew who the Head Boy of Slytherin was. And they all knew he was a sucker for punishing the other houses for the littlest things. The girl almost coward before him. And he hadnt even said anything to her yet. Perfect! She would do nicely. Glowering, he said, "You seem to have littered this when you fell, and you made no attempt to pick it up. Now, I could take a point from Ravenclaw, but that hardly seems fair. Instead, Im going to make you an offer." The girl looked terrified and nodded greatfully. "I have an essay due Monday on the draught of death. 1000 words. I want it in my hand Sunday by lunch. If not.... Say goodbye to some points." She nodded wordlessly, and he smiled once more. Yes, his ways were evil. But that was just how Marcus Damascus worked.

Marcus felt accomplished as he made his way towards the Great Hall for dinner. Malfoy and all their friends would be there by now. He didnt hurry, though. No need really. Unless Kristin was there already, he really had no interest in being around the boys. But after stalling as much as he could, he finally arrived at the quickly growing rowdy hall. He quickly spotted Malfoy and made his way over, just in time to catch one of the other boys saying he thought Kristin was hot, and hearing Malfoy's normal response, he quickly added, "Besides, everyone knows I want her. And I get what I want. As he sat down at the table with the rest of them, he and the other slytherin glared at each other until the other boy looked away. Feeling accomplished, Marcus turned his attention to Malfoy. Quidditch and Kristin were really the only things they had in common, and the second was a sore subject, so Marcus said, "Ready for the match friday?" Of course, they were always ready for the matches. But it was an ice breaker after his last statement.
