Morning Guys!
I had a thought this morning.
What would everyone think if they brought over other Toku series from Japan and made versions of them over here in the USA?
Granted we have seen the successes and the failures of Toku series adapted here in the USA.
So what would you guys think if they brought over say Sazer X, Keitai Sousakan 7, GranSazer, JustiRiser, Tomica Hero Rescue Force, Tomica Hero Rescue Fire, etc.?
I would like to say I would love to see some of these series here in the USA. But I don't want to see Saban adapt them. I would rather see the team that worked on Dragon Knight bring these series over. I would feel better if it was in their hands, and not Saban's grasp.
I am a little worried about the recent news of Saban registering PowerRider.Org. I don't want to see them rename Kamen Rider to suit the Power Rangers theme. I hope it's something different.
Your thoughts guys?

I for one think they should give it a shot.
Sadly I don't know any of the tokus you mentioned besides KR (I only watch KR and Sentai)
As much as I want them to bring over Kamen Rider, I agree that calling them Power Rider is kinda... well meh. I'm guessing it's because they don't want to relate it to Masked Rider from the 90s (hence why all the other adapted tokus are on netflix but not Masked Rider) but still they should have kept the Kamen part like KR Dragon Knight did, but oh well.
It really depends on the season too, I thought they would surely adapt KR W first but everything points to Decade, how they will pull it off since we haven't gotten any heisei riders previously is beyond me.

"Power Rider"? Nope, don't like it.
That being said, it's be cool if more toku shows WERE brought over -- and for the inevitable DVD release, there could be two versions: one for the domestic version, and another for the original Japanese version. Then I wouldn't care if Saban or whoever totally took a steaming poo on whatever toku show they're doing because I know there would be the original version on DVD.
