It's the height of summer, and as temperatures rise so do emotions. You've been at a beach resort for the past week, but in the past few days several incidences have left the city's residents rather resentful of any gijinka presence. It seems a few unknown gijinka have been causing some trouble late at night, partying well into the morning and leaving the beach trashed. Shop owners and locals are acting less friendly and hospitable. While Officer Jenny tires to keep the peace with her patrols, the last night the party wild poke-humans took their festivities too far, and broke into a boat rental center, stealing and later crashing two jet skis into the dock. When you wake up you find a cute skitty girl sleeping by your side, along with your swim suit hanging on the chair smelling like the sea and still wet. Just what happened last night? Were you out there looking for the ones living it up, or were you part of the party? Better think fast because if your ears heard right, Officer Jenny is on her way to ask some questions!
You've been a gijinka for a while now, but this your first time at the beach. Games, fairgrounds, the ocean, it's all new in the sense you've never experienced it with this body before. BRIEF . PERSONALITY : Grayson is collected most of the time, choosing to take things slowly and deliberately rather then rush through them. He enjoys a lot of quiet times and is often founding simply reading by himself. Usually very intelligent and verbose, Gray can get flustered which leaves him groping for words. He can be a little nervous as well, especially when it comes to new people and environments. An introvert at heart, he struggles to push himself out of the tiny box he has but himself in so he can explore and experience more of the world around him. Gentle and kind, Grayson avoids confrontation as much as he can, which leaves many people frustrated that he won't stick up for himself.
WHY . THIS . PET :
Grayson chose the pet he did for two reasons, both of which included him feeling too lonely to want to continue being alone anymore. He had almost chosen a German Shepard, but the wolf was much bigger and was a better companion for his walks home in the late evening. He didn't think much further than simply wanting a companion. Of course, he got much more than he bargained for and he's still not sure if he likes it or not.
tabKobe is never one to go out looking for trouble. He's perfectly content to just live his life and enjoy it to the fullest. He loves his family and his close friends dearly and would do anything in his power to protect them. Many people underestimate him because of his laid back nature. However, if you cross him, he's more than willing to step up and give as good as he gets.
:tabrazzrotectiveness aside, Kobe is a hard, honest worker who revels in a job well done. He likes to finish things to the end and once he's focused on something, it's difficult to disengage him from whatever task he has set his sights on. Doing something right the first time is something that he takes great pleasure in. He'll even help others achieve that as well, so they can celebrate together.
:tabbiggrineeply loving and compassionate towards others, Kobe will go out of his way to help them. After caring for his elderly grandfather until his death, Kobe grew to learn the importance of understanding others. The experience put things into perspective for him and he's constantly trying to see things from the other person's point of view. When he meets someone, he never knows if they're just having a bad day or if there's something truly horrible going on in their lives.

tabKobe keeps many of his personal issues close to his chest. He doesn't like to share openly with others who he doesn't see as good friends. And honestly, there aren't many people who Kobe will go to looking for a shoulder to cry on. This can be very irritating, especially to someone trying to get close to Kobe. He's a master a pretending that everything is okay, when in reality he's keeping everything all bottle up, trying to fight his own demons by himself. He doesn't like to involve others with his problems, not wanting to burden them further with his own difficulties in life. He sees it as helping rather than hindering.
tabIt's partly due to Kobe's stubborn nature that keeps him from communicating his feelings to others. He's as stubborn as a rock and will refuse to budge if he doesn't want to do or say something. He's a bit prideful in this way, not wanting to be seen as weak in front of others. His goal is to look well put together, no matter what is happening around him. Keeping in control is his mantra and he stubbornly refused to even let go just a little bit.
tabIf someone close to Kobe has been hurt in some way, he has no problem standing up for them. He'll go after anyone who has hurt those he loves, whether it be something simple like confronting someone or joining in a fistfight to back up his good buddy. Kobe will linger on bad things that have happened and will plot at how he's going to "get back" at someone else. He believes some people need to be taught a lesson and learn not to victimize other people. It takes a lot to really override his mellow nature into something a little more daunting, but when it happens, look out. Surprisingly, Kobe's vindictive nature doesn't stem to himself. He'll put up with someone going off on him, just not to anyone else.

Instead of being outside throwing a baseball, he'd sit at the kitchen table with his grandfather playing crosswords and scrabble. When he was sixteen, the old man died, leaving Kobe a small house and an even smaller amount of life insurance to live off of. Managing to hold a full time job while staying in school, Kobe managed to get his high school degree and get into a good college where he learned to foster his love of mechanics.
tabNow, all grown up, he has a small shop attached to his house where he does good, honest work for the folks in his town. He'll sometimes do large, freelance projects as a supplement, but most of the time he'd refurbishing old motorcycles and selling them through auction.

On the verge of adolescents but not quite there, A was having trouble finding his place in the world. All gangly limbs and graceless movements, A sometimes felt more like a walking circus freak than an actual pokemon. The teasing didn't help boost his confidence either. Well, perhaps teasing wasn't the right word. Complimenting wasn't correct either. Everyone all thought he was just some cute little kid who needed his cheeks pinched all the time. And he wasn't referring to his face either. Everyone thought him tripping over himself and cute and adorable. A knew he was anything but, however, no matter what he said could seem to curb anyone's opinions of him. It didn't matter how he dressed or what it said, it was always, "A you're such a sweetheart," or "Oh A! What a darling you are." Frankly, A was tried of all the useless lip service and decided to do something about it.
The school festival was just the place to show everyone just how un-cute he was. A wanted people to see him as fun and vivacious, not just a cute wall flower. A didn't mind his looks in the least, but there was more than just the surface that everyone saw. A wanted them all to look deeper, to see that he could be seriously sexy or smart or funny when he wanted to be. And that's why he entered the art show. He painted his heart out for it, putting all of his emotions into the paint and then onto the canvas. He's show everyone just how serious he was to be taken.
The night, during the opening night of the art gallery, A waited in nervous anticipation for everyone to see his painting. When his painting was finally revealed there were some gasps from the viewers. A had done a self portrait of himself, but not as the pink fluffball everyone saw him as. No. He'd painted himself in black with a gusty, ballbusting look on his face. He was flipping off the viewers, tongue sticking out like the lead singer in KISS.
The sarcasm in his painting was thick, evening inch of the canvas screaming "Here I am! There's more to me than meets the eye!" It might have not changed the opinion of his peers, but they looked at him a little differently. At least knew there was more to him than just a pretty face.
