Please follow these rules. I don't want to kick anyone out.

Rules
1. All Gaia Rules.
2. You can curse but don't overdo it. BE POLITE!
3. Whatever the Vices and Captain says goes. No exceptions.
4. 4 students per person. Please send me your profile for approval first before posting it. *
5. Be sure to choose your canon characters carefully. Once you've decided, there's no turning back. if you're dropping a character or leaving the guild, PLEASE let me know. If you're dropping a character, be sure to find someone who can be them first before doing so.
6. OC characters are welcome. However, they have to be nations. States are allowed, they have to be U.S. states, Mexican states or Canadian provinces. (limit: 2 OCs per person) This isn't Nyotalia, so no fem or male versions of characters, and no 2P characters, unless there's an event.
7. No godmoding.
8. No script RPing, this is a semi-literate/literate RP. Spelling doesn't have to be perfect, but I'd appreciate it.
9. Romance is allowed, but please keep it PG-13. Anything higher than that, take it outside the guild or timeskip it.
10. Chats go in the cafe.
11. No spamming, flaming or cybering.
12. Enjoy the RP. (any questions? ask me.)

*since we're in need of staff (adults) I can allow one more character, even if you reached your limit of 4 characters. We need more staff members (Ex: school nurse, gym coach, cafeteria workers, counselor, janitor, even teachers)

Mission Rules
If you're considering either joining or planning a mission, read this first

1. NO DISRUPTIVE DRAMA DURING MISSION TIME. It's fine if you have something going on between characters if it's relevant to saving the day--or maybe some leftover feels from earlier encounters--so long as it doesn't disrupt the mission. However, characters randomly picking fights for no reason, escalating disagreements, displaying an unwillingness to tone things down, unnecessarily airing out beef, throwing fits, being abusive or whatever else which might derail the adventure is a no-no. (If you have a serious issue as a player with another player or something that's going on, either send a polite PM to that person to talk it out or notify another member of the guild staff to mediate the issue.)

2. RESPECT THE MISSION ORGANIZERS. People put in a lot of time and effort into plotting these things for us to have fun, so don't make your character bust in and take over without leaving room for others to disagree. There needs to be plenty of room for improve and acts of heroism, but no one gets to be the "star of the show" if nobody ever takes turns. We all want our little darlings to have their time to shine so let's remember that there are moments when certain stars or expectations have been previously planned. The organizers have either invited you into their corner of the game or happily accepted you as a participant. If you're unsure about your role in whatever their plan is, PM the organizers to find out what's up. Don't just barge in and start taking over. (Naturally, some exceptions must be made for specific personality traits, but remember there is a difference in being 'bossy' and just being an overbearing jerk.)

3. NO EXCESSIVE WAITING PERIODS. Missions which are not special "Guild Wide" events need to be completed in a reasonable time frame so they do not hold up or stagnate the rest of the guild. Naturally there are times when unexpected things come up or life happens, and we understand that, but players also need to respect that this is a fairly active guild so if someone can't post for a long period of time then everyone is going to need to move on. If you join a mission then make sure you're planning to be posting at a minimum of once or twice a day for the next week. If you get stuck, feel like you can't keep up, or don't know what to say then send a friendly PM asking a fellow RPer to help you out. We all have our brain dead moments.

4. IF FOR SOME REASON A MISSION CANNOT BE COMPLETED WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME THEN THE MISSION FAILS. It is Game Over and everyone automatically retreats when the date changes. The mission can be resume the next day with them either restarting entirely with a different plan or simply fudging through it by saying they "made their way to where they left off yesterday" then go from there. (Obviously boss fights will need to start over since they had time to recover) People who have imprisoned characters get the option of either letting their character wait for a second rescue attempt or get a free pass on logic to say that they magically escaped on their own regardless of the circumstance. They don't need to justify how they escaped; it just happened.

5. SOMETIMES, IN RARE CASES, PLAYERS MIGHT BE UNEXPECTEDLY MIA AND CHARACTERS NEED TO BE HIJACKED. If you're playing a character who is absolutely ESSENTIAL to the mission being finished (the boss for example) and you either can't fulfill your role due to extended absence or decide to step down for any reason then someone else will need to step in and hijack them. We can't hold everyone up or let the mission fail when/if we're all hanging on waiting for one specific person and absolutely can't get past it. Hijacker needs to try keeping it simple and not leave the real player with unfair ramifications of OOCness. If you feel like your character was unfairly hijacked or mistreated, then PM a Guild staff member and we'll see if we can have a little powwow to either make things right or at least try to make it up to the hijacking victim. THIS SHOULD ALWAYS BE A LAST RESORT.
