The summer was closing in and the temperature was rising all over Telk, a petite black female lay in the shaded comfort of the tall oak trees around her, her tongue lolling from her maw as she panted the heat out of her body as best she could. The bright neon swirled markings that covered her legs were splayed out in a mass of color like a dark rave with glowsticks swirling about in an intricate dance. The bright markings on her face and around her eyes made Glowe stand out in the wood, but she matched her mate Ecstacy whom she often called X. It had been some time since she had met X and had grown a fondness for him, it didn't take long for him to convince her to stay in his pack of Agua Azul.
But now things were changing, he had slipped her a sort of plant he seemed a little too fond of eating that had given her a sort of high. That evening was still a blur to her, but what she knew for sure now was that what had happened between them left her with a surprise she would soon figure out; she was carrying pups. It was a terrifying when she first found out, and it was still terrifying. When the pups moved she felt as though her insides were coming alive and trying to escape. The idea of birthing the pups was something she was far from looking forward to as well. She had never once in her life considered the idea of pups, though she had never expected she could ever truly trust another of her own kind and even say she had feelings for them.
It was inevitable that she would have the pups, though she still deeply questioned what X would do with fatherhood.
