Rule Number One
Literacy
If you are illiterate, you will not even make it into the guild, because I want a sample of your role playing style in your join request. You will not be accepted without one. What are we looking for you ask? Semi-literates to literates. This means you are detailed and elaborate. This means you also do not use ** for actions, and you use parentheses, brackets, or this funny little squiggly lines for Out of Character Speaking. We understand not everyone is a grade A speller, so mistakes are bound to happen and we won't hold them against you.
Rule Number Two
GOD-MODDING
BE REALISTIC! C'mon now, you can't wipe out a 300 man army, then take one hit and be down. Nor can you be battling another character, played by another role player, and not take a hit! YOU ARE NOT GOD. Of course, those who choose to be evil will have a bit more of a power boost then the average good guy, but that doesn't give you ungodly strength with the power to smite someone with the tip of you finger. Also, there is no such thing as instant hit. Leave it open ended for the other character to decide whether they are hit or not. If they are fair, they will know when to take a hit, and when not too. Please do not get into a tiff because so and so didn't get hit by your punches which you threw over and over again. If you run into a problem like this, please contact one of the crew, and we'll handle it for you..
Rule Number Three
Cybering
Romance stays PG 13. [As much as it sort've limits us] we must abide by the rules of Gaia. If you find you absolutely must do the deed, skip over to the next morning please. >-> We go as far as making out, holding one another, snuggling, hand holding and heavily flirting. Once clothes comes off, it's instantly past PG13. Anyone who breaks this rule will be instantly banned.
Rule Number Four
Language
Cursing and swearing is allowed. We're not that cruel. But I do want it toned down, I don't want every other word in your post to be a swear or a curse. That's a bit over the top... Use these words mildly. If its your characters personality, I understand. But if I begin to see a pattern, I will confront you on it.
Rule Number Five
Respect
Dare I say it, but you must respect the other role players of the guild, especially our crew. What I mean by this, is if you're called out because you've done something wrong onto a weekly ban or such, I do not want a PM to the moderator who banned you, spitting nasty words at them, for a mistake YOU made, and YOU are not able to accept. If wemever receive one of those, a permanent ban with proceed immediately after. Now if you do not understand what you did, and have a question, we will respond accordinly. Now, as for the terms of the other role players in the guild, I do not want you taking it into your own hands to 'punish' someone for a mistake or a mess up they've made. That's what the mods and crew are for. Obviously, if your not on crew, we have not found your worthy enough to join the elite, so please don't ask too. I recruit people as I see fit. Just remember, these are other people your are dealing with, so be kind. or be banned.
Rule Number Six
Profiles
And finally, the profiles.
For each roleplay, there will probably be a needed character profile. That is up to the threat owner to decide. If there are any questions regarding this, please come speak to one of the mods.
