That rattlesnakes have nerves that allow them to move after they've been killed. This is how I learned.
No, that's not me. I just found it on YouTube and proceeded to fear snakes more than ever before.

Ugh...that's really creepy.
For some reason, I've never developed a huge fear of snakes. I don't mind petting snakes at the festivals and zoos, but I would never keep one as a pet.
Big, hairy spiders are the real creepers. =/

Frogs jump when you deep fry them... even though they're dead. But frogs and lizards don't scare me.
Sometimes I've had spiders, dead on their backs, have their legs "run" after I've killed them. It scares me 'cause I still think they're alive. emo

Yes. In cases of hanging, they will. And if they are shot in the right part of the brain, yes also. Apparently this can occur with females as well. A "lady erection" if you will.
I would also guess that if they died during arousal, then it will keep that way as well. Saw that on a movie; I think it was Clerks.
