A Golden Tiger, wearing plain green clothes and a camouflaging cloak that looked to be from another time period, nestled silently in the boughs of a tree, completely unseen. thick forest surrounding him, he had appeared in this forest a few hours ago, with no rhyme or reason as to how or why. he noted a mysterious golden glow very far in the distance, but he didn't dare go near it. His stomach rumbled and he grimaced, this part of the forest he was in was completely deserted. He shifted to pull a wooden longbow from under his cloak, it looks like he would have to go hunting. leaping agilely to the forest floor, he stuck to the shadows of the trees, switching from four paws to two every so often.
Deer a strong scent of prey entered his nose, and he hunkered down. Again noting the gold light in the distance, he was much closer to it than he would have liked. Following the scent, his green eyes locked onto the deer he had scouted out, which hadn't spotted him yet, and was munching on a patch of clover. The tiger climbed up a nearby tree, being slow and careful with his movements. both he and the deer barely noticed the storm, the tree canopy caught most of the water. All he had to worry about was the thunder. Nocking an arrow as quietly as he could, he waited patiently for the right moment. His stomach growled again, the deer's head perked up and looked in his direction.
Fwwt, Thok! he loosed his arrow, and struck the deer dead on. he would eat well tonight. leaping out of the tree, he settled by the deer and whispered a small prayer to it, thanking the deer for being his meal.
he made a small fire and cut off strips of meat to cook, keeping one eye on the unnatural glow in the distance. He would investigate it later once he was full. Squinting a bit, he noticed that the trees thinned out, and what looked like imposing buildings took their place. he would look at those first. after eating his fill and putting out the fire, hoping no one had seen it 'if there was anyone
to see it' he set out in the direction of the buildings, keeping his hood up and his bow nocked in front of him. noting a garishly pink building, and what appeared to be a school with a fountain out front, the mysterious hooded tiger headed towards the latter, deciding to drink from the running water over the rainwater. he noted two other, much smaller buildings, and guessed they must be houses of some sort? wandering further into this new area, he noted a sport field with odd markings, another outlandishly colored building, this one in blue; and a very oddly shaped lake. raising an eyebrow, he made his way back to the front of the more academic looking structure, noting it offered a small space where the rain didn't hit. hunkering down, he waited for the storm to pass or someone to notice him, although he had yet to see any signs of life.
