 Fairwind was feeling pretty good about things right now and her mall tail jerked back and forth at this delight. After spending several days hungry it seemed like she and her companions had hit the jackpot. Sure garbage diving wasn't everyones cup of tea and it was certainly a good deal harder then meals had been before -when the kid remembered to feed them anyways - but it beat going hungry any day and the leftovers in this fast food dumpster were pretty darn good for the most part. Humans were such a wasteful lot.
Now if only Stone and Lily would stop being so noisy "Guuuys someone's going to hear us if you don't keep it down!" She hissed at her two companions - she was pretty sure the joint was closed at the moment but there were cleaners and the like still wandering around.

"I-I'm not the one making all the noise," Stoneblaze said defensively, his whisper barely audible as their sister dove deeper into the trash. This entire trip was repulsive to him, but he couldn't say no once the girls had gange up on him. And to be honest, that's how it always went. One of them would suggest something, he wouldn't like it, and he'd get dragged along anyway because he'd be outvoted. What was the point of democracy if they were never going to agree with his ideas? "It's Lily, n-not me!" He then gave a sniffle and hopped off the dumpster, wiping his paws clean of the filth.
And indeed Tigerlily had disappeared into the mess of junk and trash within the dumpster as her brother spoke. Being in possession of a particularly stubborn mind, she had once again proved that nothing was too below her standards of surviving. Sure, it wasn't stellar quality, but food was food. Besides, she already knew that they'd all grow up to be able to take care of themselves, and that sometimes life threw curve balls to try and derail them.
Well not her, no sirree! Her little bum wiggled with delight as she came across a few morsels from the less-than-perfect specimens down below. Grinning widely, the kitten forced herself back out of the trash, a half of a fish in her mouth - the bones stuck out, but she held it carefully. She was quite proud of herself for the find, and already her mouth watered.
