The blast hit her square in the small of the back, and the enchantress fell with a cry.
A tricky bit of spellwork saved her from being frozen entirely, but the spot on her back was blue from cold.

Drathi had to fight the urge to apologize in the middle of the fight, knowing that the two of them were not pulling any punches. As she fell, Drathi Blizz-warped again, this time so that he was laying underneath her as she fell. Giving her another blast of cold to the front, so that he could send her flying. Like the last blast, there was a small delay between charging up and releasing.

Emma rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the second blast and returning it with a fireball of her own.

Drathi sent a ball of water at Emma's fireball to counter it, but the steam was still hot enough to burn him, and hurt his eyes, blinding him. Closing his eyes as he got up, he avoided making any sounds of pain. It hurt like hell, but he did not want Emma to know that. Sensing her location, he began to chase her with ice stalagmites.

One stalagmite punched straight through Emma's shoulder, leaving a gaping hole in its wake. The enchantress cried out in agony, slumping to the ground.
Her blood spread out over the ice, creating quite the slippery obstacle for anybody trying to reach her.

Drathi remained stationay, still blinded from Emma's earlier attack. He repeated his attacks with orbs of cold energy. This time he summoned more than he had last time and sent them towards Emma.

The enchantress did not move, but a shield sprang up around her, deflecting the cold energy.
Another spear of earth rose up beneath Drathi's feet, tipped with a sharpened piece of iron ore.

Drathi's vision returned just as he had two choices to make in a split second. Get stabbed by Emma's earth spear, or get hit by his own attack. taking into account that he had already taken a hit from both spells earlier, he knew his magical resisance would aid him in withstanding the blows he would take, should he jump. And so he jumped, getting hit with a couple of the orbs Emma deflected. As he fell, he shot a beam of Ice at Emma's shield. He was planning on breaking the shield with pure force.

The shield shattered and Emma's eyes slid closed. The enchantress fell, splayed out on the icy floor, her limbs at awkward angles. She was unconscious before her head touched the ground.

Drathi hit the ground with a thud and panted heavily as he rose up. Seeing how injured Emma was, he ran over to her aid, carrying her off to the field, to take her to Hrothbert. Feeling the injury his stalagmite had given her, he felt very guilty. He had also exhausted the energy needed to maintain his Absolute Zero form.
