Perhaps a person can enjoy the song for its vocals and components? Even if the lyrical content is crude or unappealing?
It's kind like women who listen (or used to) to music by 50-cent and a lot of other rappers. The lyrics and videos often sexually objectify women, and it's a bit ironic that female fans would not be offended by such a thing.
I know I'm taking this too seriously. xP I think it's because of this headache I've had all day.

-guilty of doing so as a young teenager- Thought I never can hear the lyrics a lot of the times. sweatdrop When listening to music, it's hard to tell what they're saying for me because of stimulatory overload. Drums, bass, guitar, vocals, it's all overwhelming sometimes. (Damn you, autism.) It's the same reason I'll listen to Satanic metal songs and Christian metal songs in one sitting, I bet. lol That and hearing the screams/growls is pleasing to me. I'm totally an audiophile. In fact, I just listened to a deathcore song and though it's horrid, I like it because that chick's hardcore.
And pfft, no problem. I do it all the time. -too srs-
