So lately I've been gagging REALLY bad during oral. Literally if it's more than two inches in, I'm gagging and hurking.
Last yeah..I uh vomited a little in my mouth and had to get up quickly and spit it out in the trash and go rinse out my mouth.
This is really starting to bug me, and it never used to happen this badly. It just used to happen if I tried to take too much.
Everything I am finding about it online is stupid advice.
TICKLE YOUR THROAT WITH YOUR FINGER UNTIL IT STOPS TRIGGERING - I can stick my finger in my throat and touch the back of it all I want. It doesn't make me gag, it makes my throat tickle and I have a coughing fit.
So if anyone has any USEFUL advice I'd like to hear it.
No joke posts please, this is really bothering me.

Could it be it's more mental than physical? I mean like in a way that the thought of yourself giving head is making you feel degraded or something? This was the first thing that came into my mind... I hope it's not full of bull.

Have you been feeling well lately? Do you have any allergies and/or congestion? Did he shower before hand?
If you've a virus, you have have a heightened gag reflex to compensate for the infection.
Allergies and congestion can screw with your ability to breath. The body's natural defense is to eliminate blockage on other areas.
You might be experiencing some generalized gagging if he's not showered. Same way you might if you walk by a rotten fruit stand.

If you're 69ing I would've thought that its the angle? I hate doing it, it's so awkward.
Has it been happening much? I'm pretty sure there were a couple of nights where that happened to me. This was ages ago but I was able to give head to him other times that night, I just gagged a couple of times. :/
Think it might just... happen. But I suppose if it's happening all the time...

Try sitting in a position where he's straight out and your head is at that angle (say, he's standing in the tub and you're sitting on the rim of it). It's a good non-gaggy angle. then you can mimic that angle in a laying position once you have a good handle on it.
I gag when I brush my teeth, haha every time. My advice above is not from that experience. ;D

Are you on top when you 69 or is he? I can't give head if he's on top. It just feels way too awkward. Also it might just be a mental thing. Have you been particularly stressed about life or your sex life? It's easier to take it in when you're relaxed.

i used to gag a lot with my exboyfriend... but he really liked it. then again he was kinda ******** up in the bedroom, eh.
a lot of it is mental, though. if you just tell yourself that you want to suck the ******** outta his d**k, then it sorta relaxes your muscles a bit. gagging happens when your throat muscles tense up and get all sensitive and whatnot. practice with toothbrushes when you're by yourself to build up a tolerance.

Wtf...on the bottom? I'm always on top...lol how do you even suck it on the bottom, the c**k faces the wrong direction and you have to pull it backwards at a weird angle to even get it in your mouth and I always end up snagging a tooth on it or some s**t.
Probnlem is like i said, I can stick just about anything in the back of my throat and touch my throat, poke it, feel the bones under the tissue and all that s**t. It just makes me cough because it hurts. It doesn't trigger the gag reflex.

Xiporah No, we're usually 69'ing when it happens. Happens to me too sometimes when I 69 with a guy. I think it has a lot to do with the angle. Get on yo knees! lol Or better idea - use more pressure from your tongue to control stuff, or just focus on the head.

I know you probably don't want to hear this from me, but one of the biggest issues women have when it comes to getting wet or having an orgasm from sex is the way they feel about themselves. If you're not completely comfortable with your body then just that can stop you from letting yourself get turned on, and it will definitely prevent you from orgasming. So many women can't orgasm and it's almost always psychological. I couldn't orgasm for the longest time because I realized I was spending the whole time trying to make it happen. As soon as I just stopped ******** thinking about it, it happened.
As far as the gagging goes, 69 is a tough position (I never do it.. I like the idea that oral is supposed to be one person generously doing something for the other and getting nothing back unless the favor is returned.) Maybe he just needs to shower or something. I won't go down on my boyfriend if he hasn't showered in like the last 5 hours, even the tiniest scent of sweat makes me want to puke. And I have no gag reflex normally.

Have you actually sought out a doctor about this? They have gynecologists that specialize in sexual dysfunction. I went through 8 years of hell in my married bedroom because of it (and stupid me has nothing to compare it with because I was a virgin when we got married). It took finding a specialist to acknowledge there was a physiological problem and then to actually work on said problem before I could lubricate. I get muscle spasms in my v****a and it felt like I was being raped every time we did the deal. I HATE giving head. Really hate it and will rarely do it (and back then I was a prude and thought it was wrong so poor man never got it then). I was send to physical therapy for the girlie bits. It helped tremendously. It wasn't easy, but it did eventually help.
