Leaning forward on the stool, Aine's face twisted into an expression of pondering, her lower lip pulled inwards as she nibbled it absent minded. "You did pick the right person to ask that question to," she started after a moments contemplation, "I have a sensing ability that I've developed since my time in the Rukongai. They made me give a name to it, Shinzou, but it's essentially seeing by feeling the shift and flow of currents within air bound reishi." However dialectal Aine seemed before was now replaced by a much more enunciated speech, something that tended to shift in her when a topic became serious for her. "The Living World is sparse, much like how the oxygen thins at higher elevations. The most apt description of the reishi condensation would be like being at sea level. The oxygen is plentiful and the humidity is nearly enough to choke you. Hueco Mundo is much like that, the reishi currents run thick enough that you can almost reach out and hold portion of it in your hands, similar to sand. I can definitely see why the smallest of the Hollow there can survive on nothing other then absorbing that ambient reishi."

Kiisho's face split into a wide grin. This was indeed the right person to ask. And the information itself would prove most.. useful. A supply of reishi that abundant could provide him with enough material for months on end. He would have to find a way to get there, of course, but once he did.. it would be glorious.
"That is most intriguing news.." He said at length, his voice mildly distracted. "A reishi source that thick would be invaluable to my research." He paused, curious once again. "And, the hollow themselves, how are they? I have had little dealings with them. Does their reiatsu have the malevolence it is rumored to?"

"I wasn't around the lesser Hollow much while I was there, but from what I could feel around me...they're were those that were malevolent in their presence, but the majority carried an eerie presence more then anything. I'm not sure others can sense as finely as I can, but each and every Hollow has their own feel to them, although they all smell like nasturtiums." Tilting her head in thought again, a second later a smile met her lips. "Gotta say, Las Noches smelled sickeningly sweet at first. If you know what nasturtiums smell like, then you'd understand."

A moment of staring at Kiisho and Aine had her hands in her hair, raking the locks away from her face and settling back against the counter residing behind the stool. "Ne," crossing her arms, her face was turned towards the ceiling, "you science types all want something from this information, what exactly are you getting from what I'm saying? The reishi, that's a simple one to ponder, mostly power source functions and the effect it has on the Hollow populations. But, I'm sure you can tell by now that I'm not particularly against Hollow or...for that matter, any other race that's existent."

Kiisho continued to smile, but removed his hand from his chin, using it instead to gesture about the room as he spoke.
"My interests in reishi and reiatsu are perhaps a bit.. different, than other 'science types'. They mostly want to find out about it for the purpose of knowledge. I want to know about it for the purpose of using it." He paused, allowing himself a moment to think about how to explain what he was getting at. "You see, Raikotsu, my zanpakutou, enables me to literally grasp energy. I can interact with it, shape it, mold it, reform it, and use it how I please. The reishi concentration in hueco mundo would allow me to create nearly anything I required for my research. Likewise, the reiatsu nature of the hollow there would be interesting to study. It interacts with shinigami reiatsu in strange ways, and since I can see and manipulate those interactions, it would make for interesting research. You follow?"

"Quite," she responded, no longer engaging in a staring contest with the ceiling. "I can manipulate reishi in my own ways using my reiatsu, so I understand the fascination with a place that's absolutely packed with it." Leveling her eyes on Kiisho, she sighed with a mock shrug, "Then again, I haven't been to Hueco Mundo in over four years, so I wouldn't know what's changed there since my absence. It's not as if I can enter that world whenever I wish... I could take you anywhere using the Dangai, but Garganta isn't one of my specialties."

As if on cue, two Jigokuchou that Aine had spied on her walk in flitted across the room to land languidly on her head and shoulder. Contentedly fanning their wings, even her slight movements barely disturbed the little messengers. Now, Aine could only wait to see if Kiisho would catch her relationship with them or not.

Kiisho continued to smile, and lounged back a bit more on the desk.
"I had not expected that you would be able to transport me to Hueco Mundo. That's what the fifth division is for. I was merely expressing my deep interest in exploring it. I had also guessed that you hadn't had much dealings with it, mostly due to the fact that you have only two reiatsu signatures on you at the moment. The first being your own, and the second, that of those little butterflies. A third lingers, but since it belongs to your zanpakutou, it can't really be separated from your own. Sometime in the future I will have to talk to Yamoto about learning the Garganta spell.. perhaps then I'll be able to explore it a bit, and find things out for myself." He paused, suddenly curious about something. "Why does Kamashirou protect you? What are you to him, and to the first division? If you are indeed a defect, like you said, you would think he would have you arrested."

"A possible bargaining chip and source of information, along with being able to effectively run through the Dangai, I can put you where ever you want in the Living World down to a few inches." Coming forward, that same devilish smirk from before split her face. "He treats me like crap, so I make it my daily ritual to piss him off as much as I can. Though, I think he's gotten used to me walking naked around the office...and answering the door in the buff as well."

Shifting to a more upright position, she stopped, her eyes unfocused for a moment. "Though, I do stay away from that new assassin chick. She's not a Shinigami...and there's instability in her reiatsu. She's loyal to Soul Society and all, that's abundantly apparent...but still..."

Kiisho smiled and nodded in recognition of the information, his expression changing very little from the same it had been for the past few minutes.
"So you serve as a perpetual thorn in the Captain's side eh? That seems like a worthwhile position after all.. it isn't good to have only a**-kissers running about, especially when one considers the fact that he is supposed to be somewhat of a hard-a**.." He trailed off, slightly musing to himself. "And I agree with you on the subject of assassin's, they are not the best people to hang around. Especially when they aren't fully shinigami. I haven't met the woman personally, but I've been keeping an eye on her. I don't like death-dealers running about in the Seireitei, even if they are sanctioned."

Mistress Tomoya

Tomoya
Vice-Captain Challenge
Fourth Division
Post [1/2]

Tomoya was freaking out though you couldn't tell by looking at him. See Tomoya was always freaking out when he got sent to squad 12 cause he never knew what was going to happen or what was going to try to kill him as he rounded a corner. He especially was freaked out when he was brought in to clean up their messes as there were some scary stories back at his squad about what had happened to some unlucky members of squad four when they came to squad twelve labs to clean up a mess. Such thoughts definitely freaked him out as he was here to clean up one of those messes.

As he made his way down into the lab he could hear the noise of the mess which he still did not know just how bad it was just that the guys from squad twelve didn't want to clean it up as it was not a direct harm to their experiments , but bad enough to be a annoyance which was why they couldn't bother to clean it up themselves. All he really knew was that he had been equipped with some high powered vacuum which he was going to need to deal with the mess , or show the members of squad twelve had told him.So at least he knew how to deal with the mess which most were lucky even to be given that.

"Boo." Zeb said as he creeped up behind the unlucky peon. "What are you doing here, and who sent you?" He said in an eerie voice. "And why are you in an off-limits area?" He said as he flipped the light switch on. "This lab has been shut down due to some bad experiments that no one would deal with..."

((Sorry about a short post... I just got home after working for 18 hours))

Tomoya
Vice-Captain Challenge
Fourth Division
Post [2/2]

Tomoya moved faster then even him though possible as he shot behind cover feeling as if his heart would burst out of his chest with it thunderous thumping. Looking up over the cover Tomoya calmed down slightly as he realized it was just the Twelfth Squad Vice Captain which although calmed him down still, put him on the edge he had nothing against Squad twelve , but he was cautious of them. Once he was calm enough to even move from cover he offered Zeb a card saying he had permission to be here seeing how he was here to clean up a mess. Tomoya really hoped the card , and the equipment he had would be enough to convince the Vice Captain as Tomoya still did not talk to anyone except for his own captain.

While Tomoya was conversing in his own way with the Vice Captain he picked up a noise coming from multiple directions which meant trouble.as he quickly turned around he met the mess or to be specific the messes. A multitude of weird gray creatures were shambling towards Zeb , and Tomoya. As they walked they left in there wake a cloud of dust which Tomoya found odd , but as he continued to watch the beasts he figured it out. The reason why dust followed in there wake was because they were dust. So in truth they were monstrous dust bunnies.

The fact they were made out of dust immediately made this job a thousand times easier for Tomoya. Grabbing the hose of the large vacuum he had been given he couldn't help , but smile as he turned it on. The vacuum roared to life just as the first dust bunny was upon him, and instantly it disappeared down the nozzle of the hose. Though as he moved through the horde he found that while most of the bad experiments as Zeb had called them were made from the dust some were made from something a lot harder to deal with metal.

Tomoya silently cursed the guys who sent him down here as he finished sucking up the last of the dust monsters leaving only ten metal golems as he started calling them. This proved a slight problem as the best attack he had to destroy them would also cause significant damage to the lab itself. His other two attacks would be ineffective as the golems were to thick for him to cut through, and since they were metal they would be impervious to lightning. Then a thought struck him he had heard that Zeb shikai was a fire type. So as he backed away from the Metal Golems he looked at Zeb with an expression asking for help.

"If you want help, then ask with words, not looks or gestures..." Zebediah sighed as he watched the 4th Squad officer attempt the mess of bunnies. Tossing the card to the ground he thought to himself quietly If it was me, I'd use a simple kidou to burn them up, and then proceed to destroy their joints, making them incapable of movement. "And if you're going to attempt destroying MY experiments, at least do it gracefully..." He drew his zanpaku-tou and immediately it sprung into a fiery blaze. "Like this!"

"Hissatsu!" He lunged forward and cut the servo-motors that powered their legs, making them unable to move forward. All that could be heard was the hissing of the motors as they melted instantly, and the clanking as they fell awkwardly to the ground. "I know you 4th Squad goons are always cleaning up our messes, but at least come to the office of either myself or Kiisho-sama... They might be our experiments, and we like to let them run their course..." Watching one still moving a bit, Zebediah crushed it's head with his foot. "We do experiments here that we don't want ANYONE to know of. Do you understand me?" Standing there menacingly, with his flamming blade dripping liquid metal, and fire in the background, he hoped he made his point. "If so, speak. If not, you'll follow the same fate as my automatons."

By the time Zebediah would turn to threaten young Tomoya was already gone so he honestly made no point at all , and looked very foolish standing there all epic like as he was with no audience to see such a great performance. Tomoya was sure there would be hell to pay the next time they met, but by then he would be a vice captain as well. Until then however Zebediah could go on ahead , and let his anger grow cause when they met the next time when he was ready to release his fury upon him Tomoya would be ready to send it right back at him.

(Exits hope to see you again Teehee)
