Annabelle nodded. "Yes, most of them are quite kind." she stated, not wanting to let away those who had a more mean demeanor. She just looked at the girl and kind of jumped when she heard the basement door open.
Amelia smiled and looked at the woman that came around the corner. "It was no problem at all." she said smiling. She then looked at her sister and the two giggled quietly for a bit. They were quite happy about the woman being a kind one, that was for sure.

Amerald smiled as he heard the thumping of footsteps coming downstairs. He was at his desk now, puttering away at the crystal that had been given to him. Almost subliminally wishing that the girl would want the powers enough to be infused. He was hoping the entire time that it wouldn't hurt the girl as much as things had before.
"Well hello there Rishima. How are you doing this morning?" he said, walking back to his desk slowly. He sat back down in his chair, smiling at the little girl. "Can I ask you another question?" he asked, though he continued before getting an answer. "Rishima, would you be willing to become strong and powerful to protect you and your mommy from harm one day?" he asked, not really realizing the words he was saying may not be for his audience's age. He instantly thought that it was a bad choice of words. To protect you and mommy? That would mean the two were in danger to begin with...but within Levintol and their rules, one never knew.

Chandra stood at the doorway and watched her daughter with Amerald, part of her didn't approve of the way Amerald was speaking -it scared her to think they would need a child to defend them.
Rishima smiled at Amerald as she walked towards him, she was going to ask for a hug but decided not to when she saw the serious look upon his face. Instead she put her hand behind her back and figetted with her fingers. "Good" She said with a a slight giggle before listening to his next question.
His words hit her hard and she found herself repeating him a little, "Protect Mummy?" Why would she need to protect them? Couldn't her Mummy protect her? Or where the things only she could do? She had already noticed that Amelia, Annabelle and herself where different but she really didn't understand. She wanted to cry.
She looked to the ground and then towards the door where her mother stood. In that moment she felt brave and knew that she had to try if she could, "I want to protect!" She chimed before looking at Amerald once more. Her face was serious as she watched him and sat on the floor.
It took her a while to think about it but eventually she spoke once more, "It hurt?"
It was at that moment, when Chandra heard the sadness in her daughters voice that she couldn't stand it anymore. She walked towards her and knelt down beside her pulling Rishima into a hug, "Yes, Amerald told me it would hurt." She held her for a moment before adding, "You don't have to do this Rishima. I will find a way to protect us if it comes to it."
Rishima allowed herself to be held by her newly found mother and stroked her hair softly before looking to Amerald with a sad but determined look. "I want to."

Amerald smiled at the bravery of his creation. She wanted to go ahead and do this, and it was time to get her prepped. He stood up and smiled at the little girl. "You are definitely brave for wanting to go through with this, Rishima." he said, stepping up to the little girl and lowering his body down to her level. "You will feel much more powerful with time." he said.
He then looked up at Chandra. "Is there anything else you want to know before we begin? Also, are you going to be staying for the procedure or going upstairs with the girls?" he asked, coming to a full standing position.
He then held out his hand for Rishima to take as he was going to bring her to the operating table in a moment.

Rishima nodded and took Ameralds hand without fear or judgement. She didn't full understand the world or what this was all really about but if it meant she could protect those who were dear to her she would try.
"No need power," she said with a smile before looking to her mother to see for herself the answer to Amerald's question.
Chandra had known even before Amerald had asked that she wouldn't leave Rishima's side unless Rishima asked or Amerald ordered her to, infact she wasn't convienced she would have moved even then. Finally she walked over to them and took hold of Rishima's other hand giving it a squeeze. "Someone needs to be here for her, and as her mother I will be. No until the end of time." She said with a smile as she absentmindedly stroked the back of Rishimas hand.
She looked up and caught Ameralds eyes with her own gaze, "Get this over with quickly Amerald, I do not want her to suffer longer than needed." Afterall it was already going to break her heart.

[[ Sorry about all of this. @___@ I just wanted to get this done haha. xD You can go through the process of how they took each thing. If this is okay? If not, I can just edit parts out that you aren't alright with...just let me know haha. ]]
Amerald smiled and walked over to Rishima and taking her hand. He walked the girl over to his 'operating table' and picked her up, sitting her down onto it. "Alright, now this may hurt at first, but in the end, everything will be alright." he said, nodding, trying to reassure the girl that things were going to get better.
He took her hand, examining it before doing anything. He then walked to his little side table which contained the shattered pieces of the crystal as well as the things needed for the procedure. He put on his white medical gloves that he had gotten and grabbed the goggles and placed them on his face after taking his own glasses off.
He picked up the blade and looked it over as well, making sure there was no residue or anything that could potentially cause the child more pain. With that, he dipped it in the alcohol to sterilize it, bringing it back out and looking the girl in the eyes.
He nodded and began the procedure, cutting open the girls hand at the beginning of the palm to the middle of her hand, spreading the wound wide enough as to get the crystal shards in there. It was then that he began his work, picking up each individual crystal with a pair of tweezers, placing each piece into and under the skin. He hoped the girl wouldn't flinch too much.
Within the hour, the procedure was finished. He knew that she would probably be angry for all the pain, but the wound was now secure under some bandages and he was preparing himself for the worst. Maybe she would take it better than the rest had? He had a few thoughts on the workings of that, but he just hoped for the best, preparing for the worst.
He then turned to Sati saying, "It's over. The deed is done. Now lets get her upstairs onto the couch and we can watch her."
He grabbed the girl and carried her to the staircase, walking up each stair as carefully as he could. Finally, he reached the top, opening the door with his hand, moving the girl around to the best of his ability without dropping her. He then made his way into the living room and laid the girl down on the couch. "How do you feel, Rishima?" he said, sitting down on the coffee table, looking at the girl.
