A wisp of hair felt gently in her face as a pair of uncoordinated hands struggled fiercely with one another to pull back the long brown locks of hair and tie them in a presentable fashion. She felt a lady of high regard and therefore felt the desire to present herself as such, regardless of the occasion or event. The delicate pair of hands finished a matter of seconds after the vibrant tune from the other room ceased to echo through the air.

Audrey peaked an eyebrow and turned her eyes away from the mirror, her hands still working to fix a small mistake she spotted in her hair. "Hmm..." he muttered as her head peeked around the corner at the record player. She remembered having wound it for a longer amount of time, unless of course she had spent more time then any creature would prepping themselves for the day.

With a shrug she dismissed the nervous laughter escaping her lips as one hand extended to wind the record player once more. Embedded in her lifestyle were the tunes and melodies played in the homes of tutored children. She lived day in and out surrounded by some sort of melody; whether or not the melody was echoed by some machine or crafted by her own throat depended on the time and location of her presence.

Turning her attention back to the mirror she finally finished pulling her hair up into a bun on the high-end of her head. Fluffing it with her long fingers and turning to leave the room she froze. Instantly she returned to the small bathroom and grabbed the bag lying on the counter top. Had she forgotten that, she would be locked out from her room and have no directions to the item she was supposed to be fetching on her journey to Nuan.

Normally Audrey would have risen and been out of the door earlier, so her escape from the build left her feeling eager to explore the town. Even having left closer to the high-hour as she did, her leaving was still earlier than need be. This pleased her, for she now had time to meddle in Nuan's affairs and attempt to learn more about the town.

She knew where on the map she was, and having studied street maps, she had an idea of where in town she was located. However, Audrey felt slightly confused that the town that the town was quieter and more reserved than that of Aerr.

With a quick scratch of her hair the puzzled tutor made her way from the hotel into the lesser known market district in Nuan. The town played host to a few smaller restaurants but nothing particularly struck the obscenely over-dressed woman's interest. With a disgruntled mumble under her breath Audrey stepped out by a spouting fountain and looked around her.

The thoughts that mulled their way through her mind played more of a skeptical and analytical role than that of a normal individual. Many people would find a journey anywhere outside of their norm enjoyable; Audrey, however, found it as more of an intellectual challenge. She wanted to learn and know all there was to know about the town, even though, she was under a time restraint.

With a defeated sigh as she remembered her deadline she sat on a small bench by the fountain. Her eyes flicked from person to person, examining those who might be natives and hovering past those who were obnoxiously attempting to blend in.

Although her presence in the town was not ridiculed or objected by any of the townspeople, none openly approached her with an attempt to sell some item or even to greet her. There was definitely a difference in the population between Aerr and Nuan.

Audrey realized soon enough, after a mind wrenching growl, that she had gone without food. Unsettled by the disruption of her thoughts she looked hesitantly around from shop to shop and even eyed a few of the restaurants, nothing felt appetizing. Since leaving home two days ago Audrey had been snacking on foods with high sugar content and only now she noticed the disarray of her normal routine.

With a cocked eyebrow she rose to her feet and settled before taking some steps for. The snug vest around a long sleeve shirt and a medium length skirt had to all be situated again on her body. With one last test of her appearance she used her fingers to trace the line of hair around her head she felt no stray hair, so with an extended breath she began slowly window-shopping for a place to eat.

"What would be a good place..." she asked, pausing at attractive appearance of a small deli with a rooftop patio. "That looks nice." she enthused, lowering her eyes to the name of the place. 'Berkners Deli' she mused, as her mind contemplated the idea of visiting the restaurant for a midday meal.

An average built woman walked away from the inn one afternoon on her way towards what most thought to be the local apothecary. She ran her hand through her deep red hair as she made her way down the block. She felt a strange pain in her stomach, one that most humans received from malnutrition or non-eating.

She knew she needed to stop by and grab some sustenance on her way to where she planned to be. She also knew that she needed to finish her research on what was thought to be, 'the great rumor'. She had no idea where she would start, but eating was a start that she had been wanting since she left the inn.

A few moments later, she came across a little deli. "Oh, perfect for a nice lunch. And since this trip is fully paid for, I might as well live it up as much as I can while I'm here." she said, giving a miniature smirk. She flung her hand through her hair which in turn caused her hair to float behind her.

There was a woman standing outside the deli. Of course, it was normal for people to be thinking of eating somewhere or taking a look at the little written menu on the chalkboard outside before going in. She stood in front of the shop as well, taking in the smells of bread being baked and sandwiches being made as well as soups and many other delightful concoctions.

She read the board and then glanced at the woman. "Do any of these look good to you?" she asked the woman, knowing not who she was, but feeling a bit awkward by the silence. She wondered if she could get what information she could about her report before leaving off back to her appointment. 'Maybe asking the customers here would work.' she thought to herself. It was a chance she was definitely willing to take, for to her, there were no risks...yet...
