After spending most of the off season without a team and wondering if he will be playing in the NFL in the 2010 season, T.O. has finally gotten two offers that can bring him back.
After a try out with the Cincinatti Bengals in March, and much debating over team owners and coaches, the Bengals organization has finally extended a contract offer to T.O.'s agent to bring him to the club and have Owens line up along side Wide receiver great Chad Ochocinco in hopes of bolstering up the receiving corp just enough to help make the Bengals a bigger threat and give them a better chance at making a deap run into the playoffs.
Also in an attempt to help their chances to make it into the superbowl after an impressive run last year which ended in the AFC championship game, the New York Jets have also gotten in contact with Owen's agent, hoping to add the experienced yet contraversial receiver to the team to be a good target for second year QB Mark Sanchez.
The Bengals hope to hear back from Owens and his agent Rosenhaus within the next 48 hours so they can quickly get T.O. into training camp and familiar with their offense before the start of the regular season.

I still have my money on the Baltimore Ravens winning the division, but with Owens added as another target for Palmer, I think the Bengals are a playoff contending team that has the potential for a deep playoff run.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Ownes will have a similar year this year as last year stat wise.

i8th Wonder Of The World I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Ownes will have a similar year this year as last year stat wise. I don't think the Bengals are looking for Owens to put up massive numbers, as much as hoping that with his presence on the field, defenders will focus more attention on him and allow more opportunities for Carson Palmer to get the ball into Ochocinco's hands. Even if Owens have numbers similar to taht of last season, if we see Chads' or other receivers on the teams numbers go up, then bringing Owens into the club will achieve what they wanted to achieve.
