"Ahh!" After a mild giggling attack from getting poked, Brice looked up at the poker and glared at him playfully, still overpowered. "You just wish you thought of it fiiirst."
"I don't really know much about you, you have anyone, besides your children, special in your life?" Monkey took the small relaxing time to start up some small chit chat.

"Nuh-uh!!" declared Aaron as he glared right back. Poking Brice again to make his point.
Shoe took another sip before answering. "Not anymore. I did a while back...but he's not around," she said as a small flash of pain was visible in her emerald eyes. Passing as quickly as it came, she smiled at Monkey as she asked, "What about you? What's your lady friend like?"

Brice giggled again and started poking different spots on him, trying to get him off of her. "Sure, sure..."
"My lady friend?" Monkey laughed a little trying to shake off the guilt he felt for causing her pain, "My wife is amazing. We might not make it much longer. Once her sister took our kid before it was born things didn't havn't been the same. But we don't quite konw..." After he cut himself off from talking Monkey burried his nose into the delicious drink she had made him.

Snarling in mock anger, Aaron returned every poke with one of his own. Before jumping up and darting towrads her pile of sparklies to hide in.
"I'm sorry to hear that. But I'm sure everything will work out fine for you!" she said as she fiddled with the handle of her mug. "Well, hows life in general?" she asked in an attempt to change the subject.

"Ahhh! My sparklies!!" Brice's eyes got huge as he plundged for her pile of sparklies. She jumped after him, pinning him down growling a little playfully and a little protective.
"Yeah, here's hopin'." Monkey held up his glass and took another small sip then answered her question. "It's pretty good. Workin' a lot pullin' in some pretty pennies. Rome's a handful, Sanyu keeps to herself pretty much, Rome is extremly protective over Brice and well... I have 4 more little ones on their way." As he spoke of his 'chrildren' Monkey's face sparked up. ''How about yourself?"

"My sparklies now!" mocked Aaron before Brice pinned him to the ground. He struggled, but not enough to toss her off. He was laughing to hard to be able to put up much of a fight.
"Well...I some how managed to aquire a bar in the city that I'm calling the Black Light, Jak is freaky portective of OddBall, Sammy tries to get Aaron to play 'Hero' with her and life is generaly hectic. But it's the good hectic anyways!" she said as she held up her glass. "And I'll drink to that!"

Brice pouted because he was laughing so hard. Why was he laughing? Certainly not at her... Was he? Nope! Couldn't be! But he was still in her sparlies. "Silly... My sparklies!!"
"Blacklight?" Monkey gave a good heartly laugh and pulled up his shirt to show her a tattoo on his arm that said 'Blacklight'. "I used to own a bar/hotel/club called Blacklight. It was my pride and joy! I miss that place... How do you play 'Hero'?" Monkey put his glass up and tapped it lightly against Shoeys grinning and took a drink of it, almost finishing it off.

Aaron's smile grew as a thought struck him. "Ok! They're your sparklies!" he declared as he picked up a paw full and dropped them on Brice's head. "Now you look really pretty!"
Shoe chugged back the last of her drink, which wasn't much and moved to make herself another one. Gesturing at Monkey's nearly empty cup to see if he wanted another round. "Sammy is a demon that strongly believes that a sword should only be used for good. So she tries to get Aaron to go on 'heroic quests' with her in the back yard. It's really fun to watch! She's so serious about saving the weak and what-not!" she explained as she stirred the chocolate and peppermint together and added some milk.

((Hey Shoey, how's my pic commin'?))
So she wasn't pretty before? No of course she was, just more pretty now. That must have been what he meant! Brice pouted a little bit at the fact that she got all of the sparklies dumped on her head, then quickly transformed into strutting around Aaron moddleing the sparklies off for him. "Yay! I'm way pretty now!"
Monkey nodded and leaned over to set his glass on the counter, deffenatly wanting another of whatever it was he was drinking. "I see... That sounds kinda fun actually. I take it he's not as quiet and as much as an introvert as he was before?"

((It's coming Monkey! Since I have a four day weekend, I'm planning on finishing it this weekend. 3nodding ))
Aaron clapped and made "ooooing" and "ahhhhhhhhhing" sounds when he deamned them appropriate. "You could so be a model!" he declared. Pretending to take pictures with an imaginary camera.
"Aaron is still very shy. But the more he spends time with someone, the more comfortable he gets. Till finally you could never tell he's a shy SMO until someone he doesn't know shows up," she said as she proceeded to make Monkey another peppermint flavored drink.
"At least now he doesn't instantly clam up. And his stuttering dissapears when he's comfortable and content," she continued. Measuring out peppermint extract and pouring it into the glass.

Brice strutted and laughed a little as she posed for Aaron's 'camera'. "A model? Hmmm... DADDY!!!" A model would be a good idea, wonder what Daddy thinks about that...
"That's good though, they can't live in their shell forever, right? Wow, I don't even remember Brice ever being shy... Stuttering can be kind of cute sometimes though when they're younger."
Monkey's ears picked up the unmistakeable sound of Brice calling for him. Looking to Shoey he took a deep breath, preparing himself to get up then made a soft heaving sound and walked into the main room where Brice and Aaron were. "Yeees, m'dear l-ittle girl?" He had to stop himself from laughing as he saw Brice.
"Daddy, Aaron said I should be a model. Should I be a model? What would I do as a model?" Brice was talking quickly while still prancing around Aaron, still with her 'shiney's' on her head and was prepared to whine if anyone took them off of her.
What was Monkey supposed to say? He just stood there and looked around for Shoey, hopefully she'd know what to say.

Shoe followed Monkey into the livingroom and had to stiffle her laughter behind her hand, so as not to offend the young SM. Managing to follow the excited child, she smiled. "Well I think you'd make a great model! If the Kep or Em every decided to start a SMO Magazine, I would have to tell them that you're the only model for the job!"
Aaron continued to "snap" away at his "camera" as the adults came into the room. "And I'd be the pho-pho..." he stumbled, not able to remeber the word.
"Photographer," Shoe supplied redily.
"Photographer! Right!!"

"Yay! I will be a photographer and you will me my model, Aaron!... No... Wait..." Brice froze and thought about what she just said then tried again, "I will be a model and you will be my photographer! Wee! There we go!"

"Alright!!" cheered Aaron as he clapped and flicked his tail happily.
"Kids will be kids," mumbled Shoe under her breath as she desperatly tried not to crack up at the little ones enthusiasm. She had to bite down on her lower lip hard to keep fram cackling, but it was worth the pain to see Aaron so happy and comfortable.
"Looks like you two did a fine job of gathering up the conffeti," she commented, trieing to distract them from their 'chosen future jobs.'
