Body hair. Ever since I was a kid, I would see these beautiful people in clothing catalogs and television/movie celebrities, whose bodies were clearly shaven perfectly clean and smooth.
As I got older I started noticing the people around me did not have such cleanly and beautifully shaven skin, at least not the guys. I that found revolting.
I also started wanting to shave myself... not just on the face and neck, but EVERYWHERE.
Nowadays I find even the sight of my own legs, arms, armpits, and "bad touch area" is a disgusting sight... but shaving would take a long time and I am afraid to wax myself because that means you're pulling the hair out by the roots (and thus it is very painful). Having shaven legs would also make me look homosexual, which I am not.
Much like my unhappiness with being male, my dislike of body hair has only grown as I got older.

Moon Rabbit Reisen Having shaven legs would also make me look homosexual, which I am not. I am not for body hair either BUT I do have a problem with the above, you are completely close minded thinking that shaving your legs will denote your sexual orintation, it does NOT make you gay, ALOT of sports men shave their legs, ranging from swimming to weight lifting and I am pretty sure a large majority of them are not gay. Whoever said that you had to be a homosexual if you shave needs to be hit, it never has been said you would look/ be homosexual if you shaved your legs and never will, some stupid ignorant sod made it up because he probably doesn't really like homosexuals to begin with.

I shaved my legs a few times because I got tired of my socks pulling on my leg hairs, but in the end I gave it up because it was more hassle than I wanted to endure. This was back when I was in middle school. Sure guys tried to make fun of me, but the ladies really liked touching my clean-shaven legs cool {no joke.}
As for other body hair, I keep my chest, armpits, and "bad touch area" shaved and no one really thinks anything of it. Some guys think it's weird when I tell them I shave my pits, but if I don't say anything and I'm wearing something sleeveless where you can definitely see my pits if I raise my arms or something, no one thinks anything of it. It's just the mention of it that people find odd but not so much the look. Same could probably be said with legs. If you just shaved them but didn't go around announcing that you shaved, most people probably aren't even going to notice.
My spouse certainly enjoys the shaven look, and I've gotten more encouragement than anything in regards to keeping the "bad touch area" shaved. It feels cleaner that way as well. Keeping your armpits shaved helps deodorant actually get into contact with your skin instead of just being stuck in the hair, so it helps reduce body odor too.
