I give the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" an impressive
8 for:
*Raw normal monster power combo
*Fusion monster material's powr combo
*"Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon" combo
*"Burst Stream of Destruction" combo
*Cost Down combo
*Cyber Stein Fusion summon combo
and more! Sure it's fusion can't normally be Metamorphasis'ed, but the Shining Dragon makes up for it!
Blue-Eyes are fun to run a deck around because you can use so many combos!
Like this one:
Cyber Stein your Fusion Ultimate Dragon, sacrifice the Ultimate for Shinning,
play Cost Down next turn and sacrifice Cyber Stein for Blue Eyes White Dragon and play "Burst Stream of Destruction" and attack with "Shinning" on their LIFE! O.O
Of course use Heavy storm AFTER Burst Stream and use something to protect Cyber Stein, so yeah.
Old topic, but still. >.>;
Yes, there are more strategies with the Blue eyes white dragon. There are many ways to summon blue eyes without using his two monster tributes, and that's what is making him more and more powerful as the years go by. There are things, Like King Dragun to protect him from Trap/Spell cards, making him just as formitable as the Astounding Horus LV8. Magic Cards, like Burst Stream of destruction, like this man has mentioned, plus combination strategies, that one would easily use.
Easiest one? Dimension fusion strategy. This normally has Bazoo the soul eater with this combo. Discarding the blue eyes from the grave, removing them with Bazoo for his effect, then returning them with dimension fusion. 2000 LP is well worth summoning 2-3 blue eyes without any catch.
Then, if anyone is risky enough, they can use Kaibaman to make his summoning even more easy! Along with last will, it only creates more power for your side of the field. Blue eyes is definately a force to be delt with, even to this day. I may be crazy, but I'm giving this monster a solid 10. There is so much you can do with him now. The sky is the limit with this monster.
