Does anyone out there play this game? I play from time to time, used to play a lot on my pc (omglimes = my name).

Well for those of you who have not tried it and have live or have a pc with internet access i highly recommend it. You can buy the game for anywhere from 4 dollars online to 15 dollars in the store (go for the online!).

Shadowrun is a first person shooter that mixes many aspects of games, I have not played anything like it before. There is no single player and there is only one person per x-box that can play. The x-box 360 and pc players are actually linked in this game! So if you play on a PC you can kill your friends who have x-box 360s.

There are 3 game modes, deathmatch, capture the 'artifact' (might as well just say flag) while one team attempts to stop the other team, and capture the 'artifact' where both teams go to try to capture it.

First you pick your race before the game starts, troll, human, elf, or dwarf. Your race decision will effect your certain aspects of your character. The game starts out with a screen where you can buy weapons, tech, or magic. Weapons are dropped when you die, tech and magic carry on until one of the teams win six rounds. When you die in a round you are dead until a team mate rezes you or your body is destroyed by a enemy.

tech is what it sounds like, you can buy gliders, a eye implant that lets you see players through walls when used (there are ways to not be seen), an auto targeting device, and other useful things.

Magic allows you to rez your friends, cast a summon that will attack enemys with you, make a tree to heal yourself with, and other useful things.

Check the game out! Very much worth the buy expecially for the low cost. There are enough people playing to have seven or more games going at once, but you see the same people a lot which is both good and bad i suppose.
