Ugh, I don't think he suits those kinds of characters. But, heck, he may blow us away, who knows? He does the english dubbed voice of Spirit AKA Death Scythe in Soul Eater (he does a good job at that because Scythe is exactly like Tamaki in that he wants his daughter to love him, but for Scythe, it's his ACTUAL daughter xd ) If he plays as Zero he might play for Ichirou as well... My reasoning: Mamoru Miyano, Japanese voice actor, plays both of them. He also, ironically, plays Tamaki's Japanese voice.... as well as Light Yagami's from DeathNote, and Death the Kid from Soul Eater. =D (oh, he plays Roxas in the Kingdom Hearts series as well) Ahahah, sorry, I'm a voice actor/actress freak. Love them. ^___^ Eeek, Alessandro Juliani! Brad Swaile! Greg Ayres! Cathy Weseluck! *faint* lol, the only one that doesn't really relate in that group is Greg Ayres. xd AND AGAIN. Sorry for taking up space ninja

I'm not sure. but the whole thing about who Vic plays as a voice actor and the similar characters shared by Miyano-san isn't too hard to figure out. they both appear in alot of things, so it easy to keep track. anyway, when I heard about this a couple months back, I thought. "Wouldn't Vic be a slightly better actor for maybe someone like Yuuki's dad? his character to me seems slightly more fitting. But I agree AF-Story-Weaver, that he might just be very good at that. but the whole thing where anime gets dubbed and suddenly new merchandise comes over here has already started. I've already gotten myself 2 VK shirts and a poster, those 3 items seeming too.....odd to have come just from japan without the whole dubbing thing. Thank u for listening, and I'm deeply sorry for my rambling. sweatdrop

I actually saw a video for a con someone posted like a month or two ago where Vic did the voice for Zero, I was disappointed. I do like Vic but he does sound similar for everything he does and this one just did NOT fit for Zero at all.

I agree with you totally. Vic, he is really good voice actor but he doesn't fit Zero or Ichiru...I mostly pictured him to be Kaien Cross or like someone else said here, like Yuuki's dad.

What?!? No!! He can't play Zero... crying His voice just does not suit Zero at all. Vic is awesome, don't get me wrong. I don't think he should voice Zero though...
AF-StoryWeaver, I agree. He should voice Kaien Cross. 3nodding I mean, he's just perfect for him, isn't he?
Edit: Lol, on the ninja band on Zero. xD

Right now, they're running a special on iTunes - you can download the first Vampire Knight English dubbed episode FREE. I'm serious. I have it. Look it up at their store. 3nodding
I haven't watched the whole thing yet. However, I did like Vic's work on Spirit in Soul Eater, so maybe it won't be all bad, because that one video link someone gave above was for fans and stuff. Maybe it won't be like that in the episode biggrin

Vic has to be one of my most favorite voice actors, yes.But he's not excactly right I guess, he almosts fits though. I could totally see him play somebody who's more energetic, or something, but Zero's not the right character!
Yuuki's dad would be better, like the other people have been saying!

Well... I have something to tell everyone.
My opinion on the topic has changed drastically.
Sure, Vic would be better as Yuuki's dad. But he's actually a decent Zero. I watched the first episode English-dubbed, and sometimes I didn't even realize that Vic was playing Zero. At the beginning it was a little hard for me to get out of my head, but once I got that out it was enjoyable. Sadly, they're not giving out the first episode of English dubbed VK on iTunes anymore. crying
I was surprised. I might watch more. blaugh
