Ok so I'm interested in playing Lacrosse and also interested in going into Buddhism.(I'm Christian at the moment) If you don't know, Lacrosse is a very big contact/violent sport and I know Buddhist are very peaceful people.
Could this work out? How could this work out? And any other things I forgot?

I have heard that Lacrosse is a relatively violent game, but it seems fun.
Allow me to, first off, show my gratitude for even considering the Buddhist path, as it is a path full of happiness and love. Now for your concern.
Though lacrosse may be a relatively violent game, it is just that. A game. Buddhists practice martial arts and have you heard of the famous Shaolin Temple? Buddhists. Just because one of the main Buddhist teachings is ahimsa (total nonviolence) doesn't mean we can't have fun. Lacrosse would only interfere if it causes you to become angry or make you forget your practices.

Exactly what ZenPigeon89 said.
I play Rugby, and while I'm a peaceful person outside of the field, I still like to get out there and play.
And unless you're one of those players that get all scream during game-play all the time, I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

Following the path with only make you more peaceful and loving, yet it may make you more passionate about your sport. As long as you maintain the sportsmanship of the game, everything is good. Gautama Buddha used to play a game that was based upon strength when he was a prince.

Just a tip on this: Any sport can be a great aid to your focus as a Buddhist. Simply play in the moment - play with your all, don't think about anything but your game. Just play lacrosse, don't do anything else. It'll improve your game and your concentration at the same time. 3nodding
