I was in IB when I was in high school. The only shame was that I was in it the first year they implemented it at my high school, so they hadn't introduced any of the social sciences or arts. I only took English and the Theory of Knowledge (a philosophy course) because everything else available was math or science, and I certainly didn't need any advanced classes for math. Science perhaps, but I wasn't terribly interested at the time.

The actual IB classes themselves were actually fun. We were given more interesting material than our peers and we had class discussions on books instead of having to fill out stupid reading comprehension questions for homework, like "What was the significance of the raindrops on the windowsill on page 217?"
