so it;s a walkie talkie... but u look at it to find out where people are instead of talking... idk man... looks like a "meh" product...
am i right in thinking that it only see's others of it, in that ur buddy needs to have one on him to be seen... not real heat signatures right?

TomTom units have this functionality. You have to "friend" each other on BOTH units.
It's just a GPS. Woo. Doesn't even have an American charger.

Awesome in theory. But I can't think of a single practical use for it before I become a hired mercenary and leader of my own PMC.

Gonna have to do a whole lot more than what it claims before I drop this kind of cash on it. That's a lot of ammo funding gone someplace it didn't need to go.

There are pretty cheap handheld GPS units for hiking and stuff that use satellite images or topo maps, though I don't know about how many let you see other units.
